The mailman hasnt delivered my mail in three months when I finally stopped him to ask why he skips my house .....he said I was waiting for you to either call the post office or come outside and stop me to ask me why I havent been delivering your mail ...He said I cant back up due to the fact that I will get in trouble and many people have died from the mailman backing up their cars and running people over ... I called the office June 22 at 12:30 I spoke to a supervisor that was extremely rude saying that I live in fantasyland because I used a reference of when mailmen used to ride horses through rain sleet and snow to deliver mail ... my brother served two terms in Afghanistan battalion 101 screaming Eagles hes a police officer for Fort Myers PD canine unit.... my family has done enough for this country for the mailman to back up at least one car Length in a dead end street to deliver my mail ... she hung up the phone on me not letting me finish what I had to say calling me ridiculous and saying that Im rude because Im upset that I havent received my mail in such a long time ... What ever happened to taking pride in your work what ever happened to delivering mail to fellow Americans no matter what ?? In New York the mailman delivers mail in 2 feet of snow blistering cold and walking !!! People are getting too comfortable these days ... scared of a little hard work.... lacking dignity and respect , expect everything to be handed to them ... what more do you want me to do ?? And when you do deliver my mail close my mailbox please OK close the mailbox close the mailbox close the mailbox my documents will get wet thank you so much for your time Im sorry if I caused any inconvenience but you deserve no stars if that was an option

I have never in my life witnessed such disregard for as customer as I have here in Lehigh Acres, Fl. . Last year my letter carrier was driving on my grass making large ruts with consistency. I have a nice home and pay dearly to maintain a well tended lawn. I talked with my letter carrier and she told me she was allowed to drive on my lawn if she wanted to. I then called the P.O. and got nothing from them. This year, once again, she is driving on my lawn and squealing off, not only making ruts but now intentionally ripping the sod out from the roots. I again talked to the carrier and she denied doing this- even though Id watched her on more than one occasion. Called and talked to a "Supervisor" and she was even more arrogant and condescending than the letter carrier. She acted like I was the perpetrator. I have walked down the road with a measuring tape and measured my neighbors boxes.. my box is actually more accessible and THEY do not have torn up grass. I dont know if there is any recourse for property destruction through the Sheriffs office, but I am taking my photos of all 129 inches of torn grass to them and see if they are able to get the results that I have not been able to through respectful dialogue. 2 years without resolution is beyond frustrating.

$1,000.00 lost!! Took an addressed envelope to Anne at the counter & requested it be put into PO Box 5**. I was told I must purchase a 49 cent stamp as they cannot deliver mail without a stamp. The PO Box my letter needed to be delivered to was 40 ft away, but I bought the stamp & left my letter with Anne. The letter contained my 1st rent payment in money order form. I got a call today that it was not received. The Lehigh Acres Post Office lost my letter!!! In 40 feet, they lost my letter. UNbelievable!!! Jackie, the Postmaster on duty, looked for it today politely & informed me that since my letter had no tracking, she had no way to find it. I never imagined I would need to certify it with a return receipt request to move a letter 40 feet inside a secured USPS facility. Inept does not begin to describe the complete lack of care or diligence here. I see from other reviews of this location, that I am not the 1st, nor will I be the last to leave a negative review. This single act has caused seriously aggravating consequences. My $1,000.00 paid for the money order will be held for 3 months before I can cancel it & regain my money. Of course, my management company will not wait, so today I paid my rent AGAIN. Thanks to the trusty folks at Lehigh Acres Post Office.

My name is Renee this is my sons name on my email Otis I would like to report the mail lady that runs my area which is off of Gunnery and Gilbert Avenue South in Lehigh Acres Florida the ZIP code 33973 the date of this incident was yesterday which was December 12th 2016 it was in the time range of 3:45 or 4:25 I have it on camera mail lady stealing $20 out of my mailbox which my baby father put in the mailbox because at the time I was in the shower and I couldnt answer the door so I told him to put it inside of the mailbox and I will get it when I come out I have him pulling up to the mailbox on camera putting the $20 in there about an hour later the mail lady comes by takes the $20 out and put my mail in the mailbox and drove off shes a mixed woman maybe Spanish and black or black and white mix she drives a mail truck / car and its just ridiculous she knew it wasnt hers when she took it out of there and I will go on the news or wherever I have to go to get my little $20 back because times are hard now I have nothing to give anyone especially a grown person that has a job with their own

Despite having a documented request that the post office is to hold ALL parcels at the post office for pickup due to the fact that I live in an area where package theft is common, they continue to deliver my packages to my front doorstep and place them in plain sight for any thief that happens to be down my street. Not only this, but the document that shows the hold parcel request somehow left the post office and ended up at my neighbors house. This is the absolute worst post office Ive ever had the grave misfortune and incredible displeasure of dealing with. The employees very obviously do not care about their jobs nor do they care about the residents they service. If it were up to me, this post office would be shut down completely until more competent employees could be found and hired.

How is it possible that I can mail a package from Louisiana to lehigh acres, or vice versa, and its usually delivered in 2-3 days. Yet, if a package comes into lehigh acres to an address that has a forward to louisiana, it takes over a week to receive this package? Hell I probably wont ever see it. The unhelpful lady who answered the phone this morning wouldnt even make an attempt to look up the package. By far the worst post office Ive ever had to deal with. The package had a tracking number when it came into your post office, it should have one when it goes out, and you should be able to give this information to your paying customers.
