I have had several negative experiences with this post office. They had a package of mine for 3 days before I was finally able to get it. The first day the package wasnt delivered because the post office claimed that "no one was around to sign for it." I Live in an apartment complex and someone is always in the main office to sign for and hold packages. When telling them this, they said the "front desk of the apartments refused to sign." This was comical because the front desk of the apartment would never do this. I tried going to the post office that evening to pick up the urgent package, and they "couldnt find it". Again, the second day I left specific directions to leave it at the front desk. Of course it wasnt delivered and when I tried picking it up at 4:45 the second day, they said it was still on the truck delivery truck and I would have to come back tomorrow. I finally got it just before five on the THIRD day. This was a nightmare and each interaction was met with incompetence, attitude, or both. Another time, I bought football tickets and paid for overnight delivery three days in advance. They were delivered two days late and the morning of the game I had to track down the delivery truck before heading out of town for the game--this resulted in being late for the game and having to park over a mile away from the stadium.

I was just there, got there at 4:58, carried two over size heavy boxes thru the 1st door and when I got to the second door she was locking it. I said excuse me can I please come it. She said no its 5:00 p.m. We close at 5, I said really, I just need to drop these off. She said are they ready to go. I said they only need two pieces of tape on them. I told her that I would purchase the tape as I did not have any at my house. She said sorry, I cannot help you. Mean while there were still two people being serviced at the counter and three more people in line. All she had to do was give me the tape dispenser and I would have taped them up. End of story. I ask her what her name was and she told me. So I called the post office as soon as I left and made a formal complaint. They gave me a complaint number and said her supervisor would be calling me tomorrow. I have been in that post office many times and it is the slowest of all the post offices that I use. I frequent the Winter Park and Downtown and Princeton ones often and they are always very nice and they are much faster.

Waited in line just to pick up a letter. There were two people in line in front of me with several people behind me. The worker asked if there anyone that was just picking up a package. Another customer stated she lost her keys and wanted to know if the were left or turned. The same postal assisted her for approximately 1min. Then I said Im just picking up a package as I was next in line at this moment. They lady said Im sorry I have to sign in now. It took her about 5min to sign in and see me. Then 1min to go get my package and give it to me. Then today I get an email saying my package was delivered to a parcel locker today at 1130a. I dont get off till 6p. I checked my box the for the key but it was not there. At that time I saw a postal worker picking packages. I said I that the key was not in my PO Box. He stated "you have to come back when we open." I attempted to saw him the email but he simply walked off. And you wonder why this office had one star. I have never had an experience at the office were I left feeling like wow, that was great service.

Just watched a office worker go on "break" with 12 people in line, leaving customers at the front desk by themselves. If these people could be any slower, they would be going backwards. Its no wonder these people are in the hole that they are in. Absolutely horrible customer service. The people working the front desk should be terminated effective immediately.

Slow! I have never been to a post office where the staff were this slow and not trained well. The supplies are always out, the parcel drop box is always full and useable causing you to have to stand in line. The self serve postage misprints postage and this location is dirty.

Called several times throughout the day (It was during the weekday in the evening, no holiday etc.) and there was no pick up. Just a Beep Beep Beep. Researched some more and the above number was correctly dialed. Dont know whats the issue with the Post Office Phone Service?

Most experience I have had here over 6 years , staffs are so unhappy, slow service and serve with attitude. Especially Brian, just dont ask him the wrong questions, he will make your transaction become the most difficult one.

The WORST post office in orlando, Diane is extremly rude and so slow. Do yourself a favor and go to Winter Park officee off Park Ave. Very friendly and prompt. I will be calling to place a complaint on Diane later today..

This is the WORST post office in the history of all the post offices in the entire US of A. You can definitely tell these people dont care about nothing as they have that Gubment job and can work slower than DCF!

Sadly per all the reviews on here, most post offices are like this. There are a few exceptions. That is what you get with government operated businesses. Im for individually owned and operated post offices!

No one answers the phone at the Maitland office. My mailbox is never closed by the postman that is delivering the mail now. Ive had this same problem from Oct - Dec 2015. And just started again Aug 9, 2016.

3 TIMES they MISSED MY PACKAGE DURING ONE MONTH! I used Priority Mail Express 1-Day ! Again my package is NOT delivered after 3 days?? I will not trust in USPS services and do not recommend!
