On the first visit stylist seemed hurried and over cut my hair. The product used is great but causes challenges for me due to a medical condition. Stylist indicated she would pursue other options to work with me. At next appointment she told me she had done nothing she said she would, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly. I ask if maybe one of the other products they carried would work on my hair. She said she would check with the owner. The owner came out and told me this was a "" salon and if I didnt want that I could leave. At any point the stylist could have called in advance and said this product wont work, you should try a different salon. Instead days before I am going on a trip this salon behaved with no compassion or understanding of what it is like to manage hair influenced by medical care. They do have a few great reviews from long term clients, however for the coldness and rudeness they were more than willing to demonstrate to me, I will give them one star because the salon is clean.

Jodi has taken care of my hair for almost 20 years. I moved away from Merritt Island six years ago and drive from Jacksonville to see her because I cant imagine anyone else being able to do what she does. Her salon team makes you feel welcome and honored every time you enter the door. Walk-ins are always welcome. Once you visit Serendipity Hair Salon in Merritt Island you are sure to come back. I highly, highly recommend! : )

If you are 8 or 80 this is the place for you. If you are not 8 or 80 PLEASE stay clear. Place seems to be run by a bunch of sloppy, old, and un-hip women, who are from the 1980s. They can do hair blue or put a bowl over a childs head and cut it that way. Beware-- if you are hoping to come away with a style and good color, you are going to be really disappointed. Dont waste your time or money. This place is the worst!!

Best Salon on Merritt Island! Everyone is friendly and provides great service! Rachael and Jodi have both done a fantastic job on my hair! Crystal gave me a great pedicure, shellac manicure, ionic foot detox, and waxing! Try the Mint Melon Mojito pedicure!
