Unbelievable. If you want to be called a bi*^* for their incompetence, go here. So. I drove up with my dusty car - one month old BMW. I told the "manager" that I wanted a basic car wash - he says "the $19.99 wash". I say sure, as long as it is vacuumed inside. I then turn to look at the placard behind me which lists the 14.99 wash as their basic, and he notices and says "oh, this one is done with a foamy wash; its better". I naively trust that, sit inside for 35 minutes, after he told me it would take 20 to 25 minutes, and assume that this is a decent, honest business. Boy, was I wrong. The man that was assigned my car motions me over, implying that it is done, so I walk to the counter to pay the lady behind it. I hand her my credit card, she swipes it and asks me to put in my pin. Meanwhile, the car washer speaks to me in Spanish talking something about how my car is white - I understand a little bit of Spanish - and he needs to show me something. I didnt understand further and thought he might have scratched it or something, so I turn to the lady who very obviously is speaking Spanish with him but refuses to translate what he is saying to me. All she asks for is my pin. Repeatedly. I obviously refuse to pay yet and ask to be told what is going on, that I would like to know what he is blathering about before I pay $20 for god knows what. Okay. So, I step outside and go to where my car is parked, which appears washed from afar. A little ratty young guy is standing by it, as well as all of the car washers in that place but no one wants to translate what my guy is saying. Finally, the young ratty guy speaks up in a sardonic manner and says that because my car is white, it needs a wax to get the "water spots off of it". Im thinking, "Water spots? On a brand new car that was supposed to just be washed and dried? I dont get it." I said something to that effect, and notice the "manager" standing by to overhear his young employee say something like "yea, well... if you were to give a $30 dollar tip, then.. but this way, why hurt our shoulder into it.." Why? Because the establishment charges $20 for a car wash, thats why. Because those arent water spots Im looking at... theyre light dirt/dust spots. That I just wiped off with my fingertip, a bit of pressure, and my sweater in front of your eyes. At this point, I look around me incredulously and say to the manager... "Did you just hear that? Could you tell them to finish cleaning my car properly so I can pay?" Oh, he heard me. And then, he told me to "leave, leave then". Leave. Leave, because I wont upgrade to the wax on top of a shoddily done $20 car wash, and I let myself be intimidated by a runt to tip $30 on top of it all to actually get my car clean of dust. I, flabbergasted, look around at all the car washing guys, who look like theyre witnessing nothing out of the ordinary, said "fine" and go to leave. And here comes the best part. The little ratty runt car washer - not even my original guy - just the parasite standing around my original guy, trying to verbally intimidate me into tipping $30, realizes hes not getting his share (since after reading some of the other reviews on here, I understand that they all share tips) gets all Hialeah on me and tells me to leave, too. I believe in the process, he called me a bi*&^ about 4, 5 times. As Im waiting to turn right on US-1, since traffic was bad, I get to be flicked off by other employees, and get mean mugged by the counter "lady", who came out to watch the show.. and the "manager", who looked at me when I said the expectation of a $30 tip is blackmail just to get the car clean (which should have occurred at the $20 mark). Dont go here. They are thieves, rude, ghetto, and, in retrospect, would seriously worry for my physical safety if this craziness would not have happened in the afternoon and around witnesses. Sad that people like these exist in the world.

The 1 star is for the place: well organized. Beautifu,l inside air-conditioning, coffee and all. The people: the young gentleman with tattoo at the acceptance is probably the kindest at the drop off. Maybe was Sunday and they wish to be somewhere else...but not very service like. I had a car done there few months ago. Was a new car , easy to go through it since practically was already mostly clean. (I usually go to the MARSHALL parking lot in coral way, n they do a detailed job for $25) Today I went back to them with an old car that deserve some extra attention, they proposed a $69 package to do what I use to pay $25. No beed of waxing, so I request the basic wash n it was so basic that my car is not even clean either. Maybe because the car is old, and actually dirty. You know when you do clean maintenance that can be done in 15 minutes everywhere IU s usually a very quick and light job, but dirty: beach sands, kids toys, paperwork ECT require that you actually clean the car. I didnt went off road , was not mudded inside or out , so I understood that was the basic of the basic the package I bought. They didnt put together all the finding , and spray on top of it with detergent. I guess they decided all together that the car didnt deserve their attention. I will not go again obviously. I will stick with others that are have hard working people from management down.

The bank does own this, the last I knew it was on the second receiver. I believe a miami law firm is running it now. The thing that really gets me is that the tips are all "pooled" together and split among the staff. What they do not tell anyone is that the tips are used to make up the minimum wage. For example: the guy working on your car makes $6.75 an hour, then when the tips are split he earns $2 more per hour so he grosses $8.75 an hour. He does NOT get $7.25 plus the $2 an hour in tips.Do not forget that the employee has to pay for all of his uniforms out of this at $7 or $8 for each piece. Nice arent they?. You give the guy busting his butt a nice tip for the effort on your vehicle and they use your tip to help themselves pay him his minimum wage. Think about it...and that is after they take forever on your car and do a substandard job.

I paid $45 specifically so they would wipe down the dash and inside doors. The doors werent touched. He tried to tell me oh those are hand prints and it wont come off. I said, give me the towel. He walked away. TOTALLY LAZY and insolent. I had to complain. The next kid that came over was very nice and had the doors wiped down in all of 15 seconds. All of the hand prints AND DUST came right off. Unfortunately, I had already tipped when I checked out on the inside or I would have made sure the 2nd kid got all of the tip. Other than the bad experience with the actual cleaning of my car, I liked the place. they have a free video game and good coffee for free. Comfortable waiting area too. It is unfortunate that the actual car cleaning was poor. Wont go back because of it.
