I visited Beach Body Spa on my way to the airport from a sun filled 25th birthday in Miami Beach. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and asked to pay a $67 gratuity upfront; to which I asked if I could pay after the services, but was informed that I could not. I didnt make a big deal of it simply because of the amount of services included in the $99 Groupon (swedish massage, deep pore cleansing facial, sauna, anti aging red light bed, and a glass of champagne.) I entered the massage parlor and was neither over nor underwhelmed by the rooms. I was asked to undress and lay under the sheets; I complied. The massage room itself was freezing, so when the lotion hit my skin, I swear I got goosebumps! In addition to the temperature, the music from the attached gym can be heard from the rooms, and the analog clock for the esthetician was obnoxiously loud to me for whatever reason. I had prepared my mind to relax but not expect that mind-blowing massage as this was a swedish massage and NOT a deep tissue massage; there is a difference. After my massage was done, I re-entered the lobby to wait on my facial appointment. I sipped my Groupon included, glass of champagne as an attempt to warm up. The entire establishment was freezing! The facial was nothing short of heavenly and was by far better than the massage. I expected steam and extraction as this was a deep cleansing facial but I got neither. Instead I received a nice scrub, mask, and hand and foot massages. The esthetician did not speak english but we understood each other unequivocally. Though great, I inspected my face after the facial and was met with visible parts of the mask still on my face. It irritated me some because I feel, If I can see it, clearly she could! After the facial I entered the steam room. I was provided with a robe and two right foot flip flops; again, no biggie. The sauna was as good as a sauna could get. Afterwards, I took a shower with all ten of its shower heads. I wish I couldve gone through the services in different order. Maybe visit the sauna first, followed by the shower, massage, and finally the facial. I almost lost my daggone life trying to make it from the shower to the bench outside in my provided sandals (the kind you get when you leave the nail salon sporting a fresh pedicure.) The floor is littered with grit paper to sustain a proper grip, but they work to no avail. I was escorted to the red light anti-aging station which was actually a tanning bed with a red light. As a chocolate woman, I had never before been in a tanning bed. All I could think of though was that scene in "Final Destination" where the two girls fried to death. Needless to say, I could only manage about 10 minutes in the bed. I redressed and awaited my shuttle to the airport. Again as the establishment is freezing, I instead chose to wait outside. Overall, my time and money spent at Beach Beauty Spa was very well spent. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would spend another $166 there. The services were good. The customer service was good. It was a great value for the amount spent

Ive lived in Miami Beach, both Sobe and Nobe, for seven years. During that time, Ive visited just about every gym: Crystal Beach, Iron Man, Golds, and just in the past couple of months Crunch, Equinox, David Barton with buddies, stuck in Sobe on the workout day, etc. But I only lift twice per week, so Im not a meathead. The point is that I know what makes a good and bad gym from non-extreme (mainstream) workout experience. Beach Body has more variety than any of those gyms. I think DBarton has more duplicate benches and such, but Beach Body still has more variety. Take the abs machines. Beach Body has something like ten different machines, no exaggeration. Id rather have ten different machines than five of two types, of course. But Beach Body still has quantity where needed, like with the treadmills and stairsteppers. Theres enough: Ive never seen them full. And theyre the ones with personal TVs you can control! Wohoo! There are classes such as spinning and aerobics, kick boxing, etc. What about wait times for stuff you need? Its not really super packed during peak times, and mosdef less than Crunch during rushhour. Atmosphere? I see a normal mix of guys and girls, and everyone seems quite friendly, including me ;) Staff is extremely friendly, especially Mike. Sure DBarton is more offthehook, but Id hate for them to shut down halfway thru my annual paid membership! Prices seem on the par with the other gyms. Theyve even got a protein shake and cafe on-site for after workout heathly nourishment. I highly recommend this gym.

Ive worked in Miami Beach for over 8 years and when I started looking for a gym close to were I worked I found three. I checked out all three gyms and the only one that offered the best package and price was Beach Body. The only gym in the beach that is well equipped and has plenty of room and space to workout is this gym, they have two sets of each dumbbells and plenty of benches were you don"t have to wait to get your sets in. Staff is always friendly and greet you with a smile from the girl in the form desk, the people in the salon and the executive staff. They offer lots of classes included in the monthly fee and discounts on their salon and top of the line supplements, they will even promise to have your favorite supplements in stock when you need them. Knowledgeable training staff is always ready to help you out with anything you may need. To the person that said they never let you cut your contract yes they do, but like any contract you have to follow the rules and at the end of the day you signed it and you have to fulfill it. By far the BEST gym on the beach and I have been a loyal member for the past 5 plus years and will continue to be.

Im a happy member of Beach Body. Ive been attending the gym for almost 7 years Id like to say that the instructors are wonderful. Aymara, Claudia 1, Claudia 2, Cristina, Milton, David..., they are the best!!They are very well qualified and competent.Classes are amazing. The machines are new. They keep the place, the gym, very clean and neat. You have access to a towel and disinfectant to wipe your machine clean before and after you use it The place is bright. People are very friendly. I love my gym. Ive met nice people in there. I have many new friends. But most importantly, Ive met my goal of achieving a healthy lifestyle. I can keep my body and mind healthy. You should try and visit the place. Once you do, youll never be able to leave it. Patricia F.

Today is my birthday and I celebrated it with 10 of my friends at The Beach Beauty Health Spa! We had an AMAZING time! We had a delicious massage, a facial, champagne and red light therapy. Personally, I also had a body scrub and a hair wash, conditioning treatment and a blow dry. Every single service was fantastic. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and super nice. Communication with the owner and manager was simple and quick. Our services were all coordinated perfectly and they set up an area next to the pool just for us. We were able to use the pool and even the beach behind the hotel. This 2as truly the best birthday ever! Thank you Maite, Diany and the rest of the girls for making my day so special!
