This company is a joke, dont go to them unless you want to get ripped off, they say they are under new management but seriously how? I took in my car because the alternator caught on fire they wanted to charge me 175$ to install it and I bought the alternator myself at advance auto parts. then i drove it a couple of days and its broken down again. I took it back to the mechanic and was told its high voltage so they wanted to charge me another 150 to take the piece out I decided to do it myself I took it out took to advance they checked the alternator in the machine it has no high voltage. I went back, installed the alternator back into the car and cleaned all the wires, plugged everything back in, I fixed the belt, turn the car on went back to advance. They checked the alternator again and no high voltave but I had to buy a new battery because alternator drained the old battery because of bad cell. Went to mechanic the next day I have the receipt from advance that the alternator was good, mechanic saying its still high voltage but I have proof that its not he accused me of lying, saying his job is harder then mine, I didnt it in 2 hours and found the mistake first time doing it and hes been doing it 30 years, my mother came to speak to the mechanic because she paid them money being a good customer and shes asked for her money back.. The mechanic laughed in her face and called her a lied, the way he spoke to my mother he has no respect for women.. My mother was getting more angry, almost crying shes an older woman. We decided to take this to court and speak to a lawyer.. We were thrown out by the reception lady because she couldnt handle our disgust, I would think a good company cares about their customers but clearly she was hung over and didnt want to deal with what her job was. I would like for this company to take responsibility for what they did and how they treated my mother, we are paying for them to stay in business and they need to change their attitude... IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS I WOULD! THEY ARE A COMPLETE RIPOFF AND I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO CUSTOMERS CARS. I RECENTLY WENT IN TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE $7 OIL CHANGE THAT THEY ADVERTISE. BEFORE GIVING MY CAR BACK THEY HANDED ME A LAUNDRY LIST OF THINGS THEY SAID WERE WRONG WITH MY CAR. I READ THIS LIST WHEN I GOT HOME. ON THERE IT SAID THINGS ABOUT MY BALL JOINTS BRAKES ETC. BUT WHAT STUCK OUT TO ME MOST WAS THAT THEY WROTE A/C BLOWS COLD BUT NOT COLD ENOUGH. I REMEMBER THIS IS SOMETHING THE GUY WHO HANDED ME THE PAPER SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED AND SOMETHING ABOUT HAVING THEM RECHARGE IT. YOU SEE HERES THE PROBLEM I COMPLAIN ON THE DAILY ABOUT HOW MY AIR IS SO COLD IN MY CAR IT MAKES ME ITCH (IM ANEMIC) AND CAN ONLY HAVE IT ON FOR SO LONG BEFORE LETTING THE WINDOWS DOWN....ASK ANYONE! NEEDLESS TO SAY SINCE I LEFT THAT PLACE MY AIR HASNT BLOWN COLD AT ALL! I AM A HARDWORKING SINGLE MOTHER AND FULL TIME STUDENT MY CAR IS ONE OF MY MAIN RESOURCES. TO GET YOUR AIR RECHARGED HERE IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE GO FIGURE. BASED ON THE REVIEWS ITS OBVIOUSLY AN ONGOING ISSUE AT THIS PLACE AND THATS AS SAD AS IT GETS. Called the lady working the desk over the phone told her what part I needed fpr you system. She told me I had to bring the vehicle in for them to look at the part and if I was there before 5.30 they could atleast tell me what the part would cost . I pulled in at 5:18 garage doors still oped and customer still in office .when I walked in I told her I had called and she told me they just needed to look at the part and she says your going to have to come back tommorow. Couldnt even take 2 min to look at my part and tell me if they can order it.

Moved here from California and took my car to get it checked to make sure everything was okay. They told me a few things that needed fixed, so I gave them the okay to fix them. When I got the car back it was making a horrible squiling noise so I took it back again. They said they would fix the problem for free. I picked the car back up and it was yet again in even worse condition. Now it is two months later and my car is barely drivable. It is a waste of money and time to go here. They just take advantage of hard working people.

AVOID THIS PLACE FOR A 3.95 PART THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $100 DOLLARS AND TO FIX THE PROBLEM ONLY TOOK ME 5 MNTS I JUST DIDNT WANT TO DO THE JOB MY SELF IF THEY WOULD OF SAID 20 OR 40 DOLLARS I WOULD OF LET THEM DO THE JOB BUT THEY GREEDY AND TO PUT FREON THEY WANT TO CHRGE ME $165 DOLLAR SO IM TRAVELING TO ORLANDO TO MY FRIEND SHOP AND GET THE JOB DONE FOR $55 DOLLARS I RADER DRIVE THE 1HR AND 1/2 AND NOT GET RIPOFF BY THIS PPL................................

Ice Cold Air in Largo, FL,replaced my AC compressor last year, had no problems. I just came back from Ice Cold Air in New Port Richey, FL, where they changed my right side catalytic converter. Not only are the staff very professional, they are very nice, pleasant to talk with, and their prices are very reasonable. I definitely will be going back for whatever my car may need in the future. Needed 2 Radiator hoses. Was Charged $602.19. This place is a joke and a rip off. They charged $74.97 in antifreeze alone and 4.25 hours of labor to replace 2 hoses and add coolant. So if you are into giving away money for nothing I highly recommend this place. If you are not into being ripped off I highly recommend that you go someplace else.

Good people here...I literally hate going to repair shops for anything...they fixed the problem...examined it..and I was good to go. Typically I go to a car repair place, and I am told a trillion things are wrong with it...and the original problem isnt even fixed...these guys were great.
