Yeah unfortunately my incident here was completely uncalled for and should of been handled more professional by the owner George. They hold that sign "Honest Mechanic" sign on Alt 19 in Holiday and it should say dishonest!! Monday, brought my car for a simple oil change. Left the car in the parking lot because the bays were full. I get a call half hour later that they could not get into the car? I am thinking they didnt open it right or something so I said will see when I get there. Well the whole handle is busted off? To try and cover their mistake, the owner (screaming at me like a mad man) said I brought it in broke??? He is very rude. I said I think your mechanic is not telling you the truth because it was not broke when I brought it in? He said "To bad and dont ever come here again. Congrats you got yourself a free oil change"... Great business ethnic. Contacting my lawyer today and made a police report with Pasco County so they know these people are dishonest. This could of been solved a much nicer way then screaming at me and acting like I was the dishonest one. The guy was literally screaming in the phone that I was dishonest and brought it in broke. We use these people for our business trucks, give them tons of business. I have used him for oil changes and propane fills many many time. Not any more. Karma will get you in the end Five Star Automobile. Contacting BBB and Angies List also and making a formal complaint and passing out the info to my 2000 or so Facebook friends that live in this area. And adding this review to every place I can find. Sorry....something so small could of been solved so easily. All you had to do is act like a professional business man. We could of worked it out. I am a reasonable and honest woman. So he said the oil change was free and never come back here? After I offered to pay? Doesnt that admit GUILT right then and there?? Yes it does...It was not broke when brought in. Your mechanic pulled on it too hard. Maybe in a rush? Maybe fell backwards holding it? Who knows. Going to cost me $200 for the keyless entry handle and who knows how much in labor to get it fixed. I hope he does not talk to his wife or any other woman the way he spoke to me. Why do some people think they can talk this way and just be outright obnoxious?

Really Went there they are so over priced. Which they hear a lot and they seem not to care. Got some brake work done. As soon as i pulled away the brake light turned on. I drove it right back was told it could not be looked at today. Called for the next 4 days hearing the same thing. What was really being said is i got your money leave me alone. Still to this day he refuses to honor warranty that he gives. Saying that he never touched the part of my brakes that is broken. When you replace everything from the hub out YES you have to touch every part of the brakes. All the car Needed was blown out but he ways to LAZY to do a 5 minute job or honor his asinine 5 STAR lies. All and i forgot to say he called me a stupid person and he feels bad for me that i have a college degree. Is this not where 5 star drop outs get there money from smarter College grads like myself. Worst ever

Very polite. Very fast. I brought the vehicle in for an estimate and went with the repair. It has been a month now and the repair has held up perfectly! I am not an easy to please person especially when it comes to my vehicles since safety and quality work are majorly important to us. I was given the option of a piece of crap made in china part or a more expensive reliable part made in the USA ( I could SEE the difference in the weight of the metal the part was made from). That type of honesty from a small shop is always surprising when profits are more vital than for a chain. I recommend you give these guys a chance--you wont be disappointed!

Avoid this place!!! Anyone who says "Honest" or "Trust me" is a liar. I have had work done there twice. The first time they mis-diagnosed the problem, then overcharged me. The second time I was over heating so I went there because it was closest. Again, I was shocked by the price. After the experience, I traded for a new vehicle. Goodbye forever 5 Star!!!!!

Ive been taking my car there for years, and have always been very happy with the service. Office staff is knowledgeable and polite, mechanics are also polite and arent secretive about discussing issues openly with me. I also take the time to price big repairs at other shops, and theyve always been the most affordable. Thanks for everything!

Took my car to 5 Star Auto and for the first time ever, the bill was lower than the estimate. They gave me the estimated cost of the repair and when they were done they told me it wasnt as bad as they thought, and the price bill was half what they quoted me. That was on my 3rd visit to them and will definitely be coming back again!

Called and tried to describe the issue and the owner said he didnt need my opinion hes been doing this "scamming people" for 30 years and he wont work on my vehicle because he wouldnt take my suggestion without charging me 90 dollars to "look" at all possible issues. Rudest costumer service possible and dishonest mechanics

Needed a simple plug for a tire. A national chain wanted me to wait two hours. Im from out of town and tried here on a whim. The service was immediate and inexpensive. The gentleman was polite and this is clearly a family business, which I like. I have family who live locally and this shop has earned their business.

I was having trouble with my car and asked the Ford dealership about it, since I was there for an oil change. They quoted me about $2000. Im in Trinity Business Association with George so I went to 5 Star Auto for an estimate and he quoted me more than $1500 less. They fixed my car and were very courteous and honest.

Polite, helpful and courteous. I had a problem with the convertible top on my car. George and his team worked with me to resolve the problem and to keep it from happening again. I find them to be knowledgeable, friendly and very customer focused.
