Our van overheated en route from PA to OK. We had our vehicle towed and waited to have it looked at the next day. We specifically mentioned that it smelled like coolant in the cabin before the overheat. We suspected a heater core failure and told them that. The folks at this location insisted they couldnt find anything wrong. Pressure test checked out (thinking they tested it cold?) and they couldnt duplicate the overheat. They also insisted our vehicle wasnt losing coolant (despite us having to add a half gallon of coolant after a couple hundred miles on the highway). We scrapped our trip and went home because we werent convinced that our van was "just fine." We took our van to our trusted mechanic at home and, wouldnt you know it, we have a busted heater core! Giving Firestone two stars instead of one because they didnt charge us the full price for the diagnostics. Pretty upset that they didnt find a pretty common and very obvious issue and fix it so we could finish our trip.

they are overpriced compared to most other shops like midas, meinke, etc.. with some complaining they will sometimes relucantly price match.. but everytime i take my car there for something.. SOMETHING else goes wrong.. its never just an alighnement.. there will be seized parts that ends up costing hundreds more.. or a power steering change.. then aftwards there are squeeks and noises which require new pumps.. and the last time i took car in for service.. the window wouldnt roll down.. i came back and asked as after 5 min was told.. oh that was like that when you brought it in.. maybe so but might have been more believable if they had told me that the window didnt work when i PICKED UP MY CAR.. cause if they roll down the windos b4 they service every car.. COMMON SENSE would dictate that they tell you if one of your windows wasnt working.. however they were happy to check the window for a charg to see what was wrong with it..

I scheduled a tire changed, When I arrived they said they forgot to put me on the scheduled so I waited 3 hours instead of one.They said they would install my snow tires I purchased from for them free.The charged me, I argued with them and they gave me a refund. One tired keeps losing air. I took it in. They charged me for the repair.Tire still leaks..This is my third time going back for the same tire..Im only going there because I already paid them..The guy on the phone said"I dont want to make a big deal about it" Obviously. ..I highly DONT recommend this place.

Very unprofessional. I called in for tires and wheels installation appointment, Was given a time to bring the car in. I showed up few minutes early, my car was taken in the shop. After 15 minutes a service tech comes out and says "i hate to do this to you but we wont be able to work on your car.we have shortage of people in the shop " . I understand these issues can happen but why was i even booked for an appointment or i could have been called ahead and notified instead of being notified after waiting for 25 minutes. Never going there again.

Left my car for an oil change, got back a list of good recommendations and a price quote on new tires. (I was due soon and they said I could wait some more miles until the current ones were due). I went back for a tire rod replacement. There was a pull afterwards but they swapped tires, aligned, and dis extra work for nothing (thank you tire warranty). All this was with damn convenient ocernifht srop off, clear communication before and during my visits. The guys rock! And the tires...I wanted to scout around...they beat my best quote!

The 1 star rating comes down to the end of my service experience. Firestone did what amounts to “we give up, good luck with your problem”. I went in with an issue for which the incorrect tire was serviced. After experiencing the unfixed issue again I returned. During the 2nd attempt a new issue resulted while being worked on by the Firestone technician. After a few more trips without successfully fixing the new issue I was told they don’t know why it won’t work, and not offered any more input on how to resolve the problem.

I took my car in for a repair at Firestone because my wheel bearing was bad. They came back with a bill for 1400 and a list of things wrong with my car. Most of them were lies in attempts to take advantage of me. For example, they said my headlight was out. I looked at my headlights (after I turned down their offer for everything) and every light was working. They also tried to charge me for 2 wheel bearings, even though they said only 1 was bad. These people are money grubbing dirtbags. Do not go here if you can avoid it.

My girlfriend and I have taken our car here twice. Each time i have had issues with feeling scammed. The first time we went in for a tire rotation and left with a loud humming noise coming from our back wheel. Three months later we had our oil and tires rotated again and they said that within three months the wheel baring was rusting off and that it would be 115 for the part and an extra 275 in labor to replace. I googled the part for the model of our car and it doesnt cost $115 its $35. Complete rip off. Dont go here

Went in before work for a diagnostic, they couldnt find anything wrong with it. My car shuts off in an idle and they couldnt figure out why. Hm... Also, after i leave I have a rattling noise coming from my engine. They broke my cylinder cover and now it just shakes violently. Do not recommend going here, especially if youre a woman. They are not a female friendly place of business. Go to Mayday Muffler in Johnstown or Monroe Muffler Brake in Hilliard. Way better service AND they dont break your car even further.

So I mentioned them that my car did not start and then I had to jump start it. So as usual it could be issue with battery but battery was bought one year back. So when I went back they mentioned to me battery is fine and told me to pay for battery inspection which I did . Now within days during snow falls I am facing the same problem. As a customer I expect them to have better understanding of cars / technology than myself and I believe their duty is to tell me what exactly wrong with my car.

Ive obtained service here for the last 3yrs. They came highly recommended by a co-worker. She was right. Theyre pretty honest and efficient, two things that are hard to find in a mechanic. I havent had to take back any of my cars to fix any service provided. Very friendly staff from the moment you walk through the door. Definitely recommend them.

Will not return. Came in for oil change left with a humming noise with my tires. They did nothing to fix it. This is the 2nd vehicle this had happened to. Unfortunately, they cannot be trusted. One star is really too much to give.

Do not take your vehicle here. They wanted to charge more than 4k to replace a part that was less than 1k and used 4 hours of labor. They marked up the part more than 350%. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
