BEWARE!! I just had the worst experience, the owner/general management here is extremely poor. My last visit in October 2016, I found they were under new management. I had always had pretty good service with the former owners. The new Gen. Mgr., Brandon Esber, said he had worked here and purchased from the former owner. I got my usual full synthetic old change and then purchased a year long maintenance package which included oil changes and tire balance/rotation for an added $230. When I visited today to have an oil change I was told it could not be done without the receipt I was given. Since I did not have that with me (in a file at home), the older woman at the counter, although she could verify my purchase, said I could not have the service done. Really?....I dont live particularly close, work in outside sales & drive 60-100 miles per day. When my car indicator tells me to change the oil, I need to do it. The woman was not accommodating at all. I asked to just have a refund of my purchase and she said THAT could not be done w/o the receipt/paper originally given. This made me extremely frustrated and she went to get the manager, Brandon Esber. Her comment, "do you wanna just deal with this woman?" When he came in, I asked him what happens if someone loses the paper, am I out $230?? He said I could pay now and theyd refund (sure) when I brought the paper. (But what if you lose the paper? And I dont want to make an extra trip. They have everything in their database!) I was furious. What a scam. An oil change that should have taken 45 minutes was now going to be at least two trips and potentially more out-of-pocket. I again asked to just be refunded since I had not used any of the visits. His response, "Thats not going to happen." Really? Nice way to run a business! I dropped a couple choice words and he dropped a couple in return and I left. Went down a couple blocks to Goodyear and was done in 30 minutes. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. THEY HAVE NO ETHICS. IT COST ME $230 TO FIND OUT.

Good Experience; fair/honest repairs. Ive had work done at this Tuffy for the past 3 years. Ive found them to be fair and honest when it comes to analyzing car brake/tire/suspension-steering/exhaust problems. Both the owner and the shop manager (Mike) have been straight-forward and I havent had any issues with poor workmanship (technicians). I brought in an SUV for "squeaking" noises: they could have proposed an expensive exhaust system overhaul, but since they admitted they couldnt completely isolate the problem, they installed a less-than-20 dollar fix. I noticed some disgruntled customers (giving bad reviews); heres my take on auto repair: Like all shops, they(this Tuffy location included) would like to sell you more products and services. I always do some research (on-line) and call auto repair places (including dealerships) around the metro area to find out the What-When-Why-How-much issues (involved with a major car repair/maintenance) before I walk into the shop. This Tuffy location does a good job of proposing maintenance items (sometimes I agree with them and sometimes I dont). I dont feel like theyve pushed unnecessary work/products on me when I come in, and I recommend them. Type of work done: brake/rotor replacement, shocks, tire rotation, oil change, issues with tire pressure, exhaust & steering system

My appointment was made in advance. When we showed up, they did not have the oil needed for my vehicle, I had to go buy it myself. They charged me to replace a tail light, and did not replace it. I found out the light was not replaced by being pulled over by the police and cited for having a tail light out. When I called to discuss this, Tuffy argued with me that there was no way they wouldnt have changed the bulb, and did not even want to help make it right. While waiting for my car to be finished getting the oil changed, a Man and Woman came in the store very upset and displeased with Tuffys service. Come to find out Tuffy misinformed them as to what was wrong with their vehicle, and performed work that was not needed. It ended up costing the couple well over a thousand dollars, not to mention they had to take their vehicle to another store to have the real issue fixed. I was not pleased, and even more displeased now after receiving a ticket for no tail light. I will not be going back, and advise everyone else considering service from this establishment to use caution, I do not trust this establishment. Thank you,

Watch out for this place, its a money pit. I took my car in because a rear caliper was locked up and they quoted me nearly $500 to replace a rotor, brake pads and the caliper. I declined the service and ended up just buying the parts and doing it myself. When I got the cost breakdown of their estimate I noticed Tuffy had marked up the cost of the caliper over 100%! They quoted me nearly $190 for the cost of the caliper, no labor included. I went down the street to Autozone and got the same caliper for $85. I asked Jim at Tuffy (whom I understand is the owner) why such a huge markup and his only explanation was "that is how my financial structure is" and alluded that it was how he kept his shop open. I understand shops have to make money to cover employee costs and operating costs and overhead but charging the customer $100 just for providing the part is wrong. By marking up the cost on parts so drastically and marking up the cost of labor this place is just taking advantage of customers that dont know any better.

Very frustrated with the customer service and lack of communication we received. We were told one price for a diagnostic, then were charged more than that because when they ran the diagnostic, the scanner reset the codes so they were unable to identify any error codes or tell us what was wrong. We never got a call that our car was done and there was nothing they could do, but instead we had to call and find out hours later. We were told to bring car back in the next time the light comes on, but they were unable to guarantee the ability for us to be a priority for an appointment when that happens- whats to say that the light comes in and we try to take it in but by the time they would be able to work on it, the light could go off again. Did not feel like we were a valued customer.

You talk about a ripoff. I went in there to have them look at my brakes and they told me I needed new rotors. They gave me the dimensions of the wore down rotors. I asked them what was the thickness of them when they were new? They said a couple millimeters wider. So, I clarified by asking how many millimeters wears down in a year (having no idea)? Simple math told me that when the car was new the rotors were meant to only last about 2 years. They just stood there and said, well yes. At this point, I asked them where did they plan on getting new rotors? From the manufacturer, they replied. So all in all I was suppose to believe that Ford motors only puts rotors on cars that lasts but 2 years. What a ripoff joint.
