I am a regular Ebay shipper, an when I brought a Priority Mail package in to get a shipping receipt, the clerk told me "something had come down Aug. 1, and now she had to weigh all the packages to make sure they were the correct weight or shed have to pay for it". I use a USPS scale, so my scale has always been on the money, within .5 oz, which is tolerance. When she weighed the package, it came up 1.2 oz more different than what I had paid for. She, not knowing how to solve this problem, since I had a pre-printed label already paid for on the package, called over the Mgr., Ken. He is one SOB, and when he came over and said to her in a gruff voice, "whats wrong", and she told him, he picked the package up off the scale, and slammed it onto the counter in front of me and said, "take it back and correct it"! I explained that once I bought the postage, paid for it online, there is no way to correct it. He then laughed at me, and said, "guess YOU have a problem then". "Take it to another post office". I told him my scale and his scale was off by about 1.5 oz., on a 3 lb package. He went into a fit telling me how he would have to pay for it when the USPS checked it (they are a contracted station, not a Real Post Office). Yeah Ken, way to go to help out a customer, especially since I was willing to pay a difference if needed!!! I went to another PO in the area, they weighed the package, and it came out EXACTLY what I had weighed it!!! So, is this contract PO jacking up the weight to collect more that what is actually owed? The USPS should look into this guy, he does not represent them well!!!

im so tired of this place i stand at the door knocking to drop packages off or to pick up some times they take 15 minutes to answer the door i have been there knocking at 3:45 some one finally opens door to tell me they are closed at 4:00 and usps wonders why they are going broke with customer service like that this place needs to be shut down and a proper post office opened next time im going to take name tags and report to postmaster general with so many people out of work you would think you would value your cushy job i my self brake my back at my job and then when i race to get some where after working all day i would like my time valued as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!! I CALLED AT LEAST 40 TIMES & NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE!! THEY HAVE A PACKAGE OF MINE THAT WAS OUTGOING. I TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THEIR SERVICE TO PAY BY CHECK AND THEY APPLY THE POSTAGE, BUT THEY SAY I CANNOT SEND A "PRIORITY MAIL" PACKAGE IN MY OWN BOX. NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM IN NY! NOW WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN THEY WONT EVEN ANSWER THEIR FREAKIN PHONE?! HOW DO I RETURN THE CALL TO "RON"? ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!! I AM SIGNING UP WITH NEOPOST AS I AM STARTING MY OWN BUSINESS AND WILL BE SHIPPING A LOT OF THINGS.... WILL NOT DEAL WTH THE POST OFFICE B.S.!!!!!!

This place is a joke, I called inquiring about some mail that had been returned and no one could seem to give me a straight answer on where exactly it was. I was told that I would be contacted in the day as soon as the mailman was back from his route. I made it very clear that the mail that was missing was something very important and I was told vehemently I would receive a call back. After two calls back on my part I never received a call to find my mail. Get it together folks

I still dont understand why this place is only open 10-4, who in the hell will make hours like that for Business, I mean come on how can someone be there to pick it up, people do work too!! If a package is being delivered and no one is there, they should be contacted immediately, what if they own a business?they should not have to wait a week before they receive it because they cant take off work just go up there to pick it up. Omg I can keep going off , just pisses me off.

Im not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Ive had nothing but great experiences here. I dont send a lot of mail so when I go to the post office, Im usually clueless and the staff doesnt have patience. Thats not the case here, they help with everything from picking out the right boxes to going over the different shipping options and stamps. Everyone is always pleasant and helpful. I go out of my way to come here now.

i was sent a letter from penn last friday and still have not gotten it .i live in moon lake it is like snail mail out here.i call and they say 3 to 5 days well it is now 6 days.what is the problem u may need to get new workers.we always get our mail late or not at all.this is getting stupid.oh and also they never answer the phones at the post office i have got through 1 time out of 20 calls.

Wow! I worked for the Postal Service up North. If we ever handled a customer the way these clerks do we would not have had a job. Rude to the core they speak to you like your an idiot mind you I had 18yrs in the service. Just because your a pop up or annex does not make you above the rules! Never again will I go here

Had a very good experience today. Customer service was great and I was in and out in good time. I have had a few less satisfactory experiences at this location but today made up for those few experiences. We all have bad days, just got give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

I find the personnel at the annex to be helpful, courteous and efficient. However, the carriers, especially substitute leave a lot to be desired. I frequently receive mail for my neighbors and they receive mine. It makes me wonder how much mail is lost.

Surprised this place has bad reviews! They are, and have always been, extremely friendly and helpful. Not sure what type of experience others have had but this location is fast, friendly, and certainly warrants more than the current rating.

The staff is very friendly and they always go out of their way to assist the customers with any problems that they may be experiencing. I went there and could not believe all the activity going on in the background, lots of work!

Unbelievable, I run a home based business and they lose packages and put them in the wrong boxes cannot get any help filing a claim useless people, their only answer is well everyone makes mistakes.
