I applied (and paid!) for PO box 10 days ago and still havent received the keys. On my application, it says to bring two forms of ID proving residence and you will receive your keys. Sounds easy enough, but of course I was skeptical..what government agency makes simple processes easy for anyone? Well, unfortunately I was right..This place is a JOKE!! They claimed they needed to verify my mailing address by sending my application over to the post office nearest where I live. So, they faxed my application over. Of course I was concerned because who faxes stuff anymore? Might as well send it over on a dinosaur. After patiently waiting a week, I returned to this post office for the second time only to hear the same story.."we faxed it a week ago and havent heard back". So I requested to fax it again. Nope. They dont do that. How about calling the other office? Nope. Dont do that either. So at this point, Ive become enraged and visited the other post office the next day. When I get there, this office says they never received the fax nor is that process even necessary!! As long as you have two forms of ID, you can pick up your keys (the application says this as well). I went back to the New Albany branch for a third time and demanded my PO box keys. Nope. We faxed it over a week ago. Can you fax again? Nope. Can you call them? Nope. Can I talk to the supervisor? Nope. Stay the h ell away from this place, it is terrible!!

Consistently thats not to my address. On top of that im expecting a package that has a tracking number and has not been scanned by the post office one.... this has happened before but i at least received that packages by the expected date even though they were to lazy to scan it on its way here. Well today, in expecting a package to be delivered and the mail has already came, package wasnt there and this is another one they have been to lazy to scan since picked up. I call this office and speak to Phil, I explain the situation and all he says is if its not scanned its not here..... He refuses to even check thats how lazy these people are somehow he couldnt comprehend ive received mutiple packages from them that they didnt scan and its just a well im not gonna look its not scanned its not here. This is the worst post office Ive ever had in my life out of everwhere ive lived.

Ordered a package from Amazon to be delivered to a business location. Amazon preferences state absolutely no weekend delivery. Post office attempted delivery on a Sunday with no one at the business, then held our package until Thursday when it was sent back to a Columbus post office before they sending it out for delivery. No email from Amazon stating that the package was at the post office. No attempted second day delivery like all other post office locations provide. This is not the first time we have had issues with this post office. They continue to hold our mail and not notify the shipping partner to pass on the information to the purchaser. Previously would give our mail to another companys courier office before multiple phone calls and detailed instructions were given to employees. Employee incompetence must be addressed.

i ordered a gift card as a gift for my parents (from a restaurant not in the area btw) for my wedding. I made sure to order it A MONTH in advance to have plenty of time to recieve it. The tracking claims it was "attempted" one time 3 days after I ordered it and a notice was left on my door. I NEVER recieved a notice. So I went to the post office to claim my gift card (since this is where the tracking said it was) and they said they didnt have it. So I waited for it to be attempted agin and it never was. Then, it was sent back because it reached the "maximum hold time" at the post office! The post office that claimed they didnt have it!!! So not only am I out my shipping cost, Im three days out from my wedding without a gift for my parents.

Yep, $9.32 to ship a 1lb 15 oz package according to accurate scale at home, yet once again the two post office scales are inconsistent from one another and weigh higher results. From home to PO, my package increased a weight of 1.3 oz and I had to pay $11.14. Thats over a $2 increase for 1.3oz! So tired of trying to ship cheap, confirming price at home, then being disappointed at the post office!

This is by far the worst post office in the entire world. They continue to lose our packages because they hire contract workers who are not accountable for anything they do wrong even when they admit that they have done something wrong! Very, very, very frustrating! Choose UPS or FedEx if you have a choice. Its time to give up on these incompetent nincompoops called the US Postal Service.

Fast, friendly service. I expected it to be packed today, and it was busy but they were so efficient with taking care of customers that my wait was shorter than I expected. I am so grateful! I was buying stamps and wanted some that the postal worker didnt have at her desk. She made an effort to track them down. I will definitely go back here when I need to mail a package!

The staff at this post office should be re-evaluated. It appears that they forget that they are there to serve the customers. Ive been a resident of New Albany for 13 years now and have yet to have a positive experience. Recently (June 2015) I needed a passport and had the WORST experience EVER!!!! Had to go to them THREE time before getting it all together. #help

Whomever was on the phone refused to help out and dismissed my questions with a snarky remark instead of having the human decency to at least sympathize with the fact that I will never get to see my package. Took several attempts to even get through their phone line. Please train your employees to not be flat out incompetent dust tarts.

Horrible post office. This post office put my mail on hold without my authorization because my I hadnt checked my mail in a week in a half in which I was out of town. Instead of holding all of my mail at the post office for personal pick up, they returned all of my mail which included important documents to sender.

Ordered two items on Amazon. Both items were on the same truck, they delivered one and claimed they couldnt deliver the other because they couldnt find the address. What?! You already delivered one successfully, how does that remotely even make any sense. Filing a complaint with Amazon and the USPS.

Anytime I have gone in or called they have been friendly and helped. I normally print postage online and just drop it off but they always have what I need supply wise. The PO gets a bad rap normally but out of the 5-6 offices I use in the Columbus area, this one is the best.

I have lived at the same address for over 2 years yet my mail delivery woman decides, on her own accord, that I dont live there any more and starts sending back my mail. This has happened THREE times now. What is wrong with the people at this post office?
