Islander Beach Salon & Spa is truly a 5 Star Salon tucked away in the Islander Beach Resort. SOOOOO Glad I found it - The owners are professional, warm and more than accommodating!! Stylist / Hair Professional Melissa Desko belongs in NYC - but please dont tell her that - I need her here!! Her constant training with international hair superstars w AVEDA shows in every cut and color!! For Facials that leave your skin youthful, glowing and your mind refreshed - your body floating on cloud 9 after the accompanied massage techniques? - Sheena Winsted is beyond comparison!! Amazing skin care and the most amazing pedicure you will ever receive!! NSB has an amazingly talented hair-pro & truly gifted esthetician in this salon!! The entire staff is professional - with talent found in much, much larger metropolitan cities!! - I hope my review is not too widely read - I like being able to get in to see these ladies!!

Thank you Sheena for the amazing facial and pedicure. That was the best pedicure I have ever had! I was a bit apprehensive about getting a facial because I have sensitive skin but they use Aveda products that are all natural so I thought I would give it a try. Sheena has magic hands. I even dozed off during my facial because I was so relaxed. So gentle and no irritation afterward. Everyone at the Spa was so nice and professional and I was pampered the entire time. Who doesnt love that? Thanks again Sheena

The lady who did my nails was nice, never had my nails done before it was fun. Pricey, but fun. Plus I love my nails, its been about a week and a half since I had them done and they are still going strong.
