Ive been here twice. Both times I felt that the menu items are hit or miss. The bad: I dont recommend any soft tacos or rice. Both times the rice has been hard to bite. Its like eating tiny rocks. The first time I asked for a fresh batch and it also came out hard. Im sadly not exaggerating here, and its such a shame because if the chefs tasted the rice they could catch this and fix the problem. The good: The staff are young and energetic. The combination of fun staff and a Dia De Los Muertos decor makes the place overall fun. You will enjoy trying out their collection of hot sauces. Back to the food, I recommend their flautas and chips with guacamole. It was delicious. Portion sizes are larger than what you might expect. Two tacos will fill you up here. Overall, I will be coming back to this place because it is affordable and has the potential to fix its issues. Even if they ignore the problems, there are items worth ordering.

Awesome food. Great service and staff! Taking my wife and our daughters to TF is our weekly family treat. Besides the main dishes, TF has awesome chips, guac, and a huge sauce bar. Tijuana Flats is a "well kept secret". I think if you love Chipotles food (as we do), you are REALLY going to love Tijana Flats! Theyre both great.. so it gives some variety. Bonus points for Tijuana Flats for bigger tavos (two TF tacos are more filling than 3 Chipotle tacos) plus Ive never had TF charge me for extras (and TF had black olived!)

Cant complain. You know what you are getting here. Good music most of the time... Mellow Yellow soda... crushed ice. Great Texmex. And all the hot sauce you want. I was about to give 5 stars but then I remembered that they charge you for salsa while they give you free tortilla chips with every order.. which honestly pisses me off. Id rather get no chips than just chips and no salsa. But Id REALLY rather just get complimentary salsa with my chips. Other than that I love this place.

Came here with a friend after they insisted that I HAD TO try the mexican here, and was quite impressed. Had a smothered burrito which was very fresh and tasty. Chips and salsa were definitely a great start to the meal. Not to mention the cool interior and great, friendly service. Great for take out or to hang out with friends! Quite the far cry from the usual mexican spots I visit, but definitely in a good way. Affordable too.

Dont bother ordering online. I just spent 30 minutes waiting just like everyone else who ordered at the location. In fact the people at the location received their food before I did. Looks like this specific customer knew the employees and didnt have to wait like everyone else even though she ordered 20 minutes after I arrived there. To make things worse they got my order wrong. What a frustrating experience

Today was my second time trying out Tijuana flats in North Miami. In general, this texmex joint is not bad at all. They have great potential to be a four star fast food place, but too many small details just did not hit the spot. Love their guacamole and I couldnt get enough of their visit as. The beef and beans meast option was my favorite for the tacos. Do not order their rice or steak.

I literally had the exact same meal while on my lunch break at the Pompano location and I can just say it was a major difference this quesadilla was soggy and I asked for it to be well done I also requested a side of lettuce and tomatoes and receive the smallest portion and one of the containers was dirty and full of cheese residue if I could give this place 0 Stars I would I do not recommend

This place is great, my burrito was crispy on the outside and nice and wet with plenty of steak and melted cheese. They have like 20 different sauces, and you can try all of them. If you like one they sell 5 oz. Bottles. The bathrooms were clean and the place is nicely decorated. They have outside seats for people like me that smoke. I will be back there soon!

After driving down from NMB and ordering a Fish Taco Salad for the first time, which was highly recommended. I get back to work to find a totally burnt (I mean black cindered) 3 piece of fish. No beans, Sorry Taco Bell would have been a better value after paying you 9.61. for what lettace tomato and cheese on a taco? Your cook should be fired.

Place is ok, i really liked the fact that they had exterior and interior seating available. The place is good in size and makes you feel welcomed. The food even though it is presented nicely is not "all that". Dont take me wrong. The food is good but its not like "Whoa...Amazing" i would revisit...but wouldnt be my first option off the list.

Ive eaten there probably a couple of dozen times. Food is generally good, although Im not an expert on Mexican food. Staff is extremely friendly, and serve you without you feeling obligated to tip them. You pay at the counter. There also isnt a garbage can in sight—they dont want you to have to clean up after yourself. They do it for you.

Only down to earth people works here. Attention and great customer service is their goal... food is not extraordinary as other big chains... however its different than others and the whole experience makes it all. Great prices and tasteful meats and sauces... if it didnt make me get fatter i would be here twice a week at least.

Weve been to the Tijuana Flats in Tampa several times and the food and servings have been amazing, but for some reason both at this particular location left a lot to be desired. I dont know if this is always the way it is here, but on the day we went we were so disappointed we wont ever go back.

You must visit Tijuana Flats if you are in the area! Delicious Tex-Mex food at an affordable price. The staff at this location is very friendly and will do anything to make your visit pleasant. The atmosphere is great and you have the option to sit outside. The flautas are my favorite.

Seems to be a nice Mexican place. During busy time they have messed up our to go order twice, but was quick to fix it so I aint complaining, although I feel they could have made a better decisions. Overall the food is good and the service is great, so this is our new Mexican to go

Im here at this moment waiting on my order I did online 40 mins before I came pick up. They didnt even start my order ! This was my first and LAST time even eating here ! Im so annoyed! I wont ever order here again ! And im on my lunch break ! No one even apologized or anything !

Simply the best customer service there is to offer when it comes to eating out... Manager does a great job at making sure the customers are satisfied, the food is great, delicious and at a reasonable price, and they offer refills! I love going to this place, definitely RECOMMEND!

This place has changed a lot. I used to come here all the time and it was absolutely amazing, but after a while the quality of the food just got worse. The steak taste rubbery, the beef taste like absolute bootyhole!!! The price really isnt worth the food. Amen.
