Even though I personally like the machines they have there, I will not recommend this gym to any female, period!! Women BEWARE of this facility!! My wife and I went to this particular LA Fitness on Saturday 1/21/17 at around 6 p.m. At one point around 7 p.m. when my wife entered to use the womens restroom, she saw a cleaning man cleaning the womens restroom while women were in the showers taking showers, and while some of them were out of the showers with the towel on. She was horrified and shocked that the management would allow a man cleaning the womens bathroom while women were in it taking showers and/or dressing. I followed my wife and we both immediately went to complain to the manager. The manager certainly didnt seem to care much about it, and he basically said that this is how he operates his bathrooms by allowing men cleaning-crew to clean the womens bathrooms. I then immediately asked for his name and a corporate number where I can file a complaint about his disregard for womens privacy and also safety. Even though I requested for his business card with his name on it, he only gave us a piece of paper with allegedly a corporate number for the complaint. As we walked away, I notice that on the paper he didnt even put his name on it. So I went back and asked him for a second time to write his name on the paper he gave us. His alleged name is "Hellman". In any case, on my complaint to the corporate office, Ill be providing all necessary details as to the date and time, in order to know who was managing this facility at that given time. Its most certainly disappointing to know that a fitness center of such magnitude would allow a manager to show so much desregard towards womens privacy and safety. I hope after the complaint is filed with the corporate office, that it is addressed accordingly. I have all intentions to pursue this as high up as I can and expose it to all social media outlets as I possibly can.

gimnasio limpio y espacioso, piscina bien atendida, las clases de la piscina lamentables, fui a inscribirme y es como un club de solos para la familia familia solo los míos y ya... incluido un bebe de 3 meses que no paro de llorar a toda potencia en la hora y 30 que estuve en el área el pobre niño se tocaba el oído y los profesionales padres instructores lo introducían mas en el agua como prueba de su profesionalismo., un Sr que estaba nadando fue expulsado a las 8.30 por la familia de instructores porque ha las 9 .00 comenzaban las clases y ellos tenían reservada esa área de la piscina todavía estaba el Sr en el área y ya estaban usando para la recreación de la familia instructores el área mencionada todo lo cual me izo reflexionar y preferí buscar para mis 5 sobrinos otro lugar de instrucción, con otras características....

I have went to a few LA Fitness locations. Not to be a hater but this is the worst one. Its total chaos with the weights and the dumbells, but the worst part is the hygiene. I have been trying to pinpoint the reason i have been getting the flu in the past few months. On occasion i go in the pool for a few laps and every freakin time I end up sick on the next day! IT IS disgusting! I suspected I was getting sick from the pool, so yesterday I just went in the hot tub and guess what- I have a fever and sore throat today. There is literally DIRT floating around in the hot tubs foam. I am so pissed off, because this is the 4th time this is happening. Every time I go to the pool/hot tub Im feeling a virus the next day. I am a super healthy 25 year old male, 180lbs, i am very active and have a strong immune system. Is this what you call a "health" club?? I rarely see anyone go in the pool, which is unusual for a gym. The moment you enter the water you can feel how gross it is, its like sticky river water that smells like athletes foot. And there is MUD on the floor everywhere. Apparently no one gives a s**t in this place, but hopefully a regional manager will read this and take it seriously! You guys seriously need to step up your game, you are turning into a ghetto a** gym!! This is the first negative review I have ever posted for anything. Please take care of your disgusting gym!!

Where is the negative stars option? The management is EXTREMELY rude. Their answer to everything is "Call Corporate". They talk bad about you in front of you and tell the other employees to ignore you and your requests. The initial problem that I had was when I dropped my 8 month old off at the kids club there was one person working and 17 kids in the room. They stated that "they didnt have any regulations on the ratio of the kids to adults" I asked for a print out of their policy and they told me that they didnt have one and to Call Corporate. The manager came back to tell me that there were only 13 kids because the rest were not checked in... Well if there was an emergency how are they going to know what kids to be looking for if all of the kids are not checked in. After I left I called corporate and was informed that the ratio was 1 to 10 and that the club was easily able to print that out for me to have. So I requested that I have my money refunded because the only reason that I joined was because I needed someone to watch my child while I worked out. I was told that they will cancel my Membership but I will not get any of my money back. I have dropped my child off 3 times at this club and not once was the ratio properly met.

It might not be the best club in USA, right..the rack for the dumbbells is most of the time disorganized, some particular weights are gone and can not be found on busy hours, there are some machines that need update or a faster service to be repaired, there are guys using two machines, or are talking on the phone and pretending to be working out but they are not, or some guys are using the machine and see another person waiting and they do not offer to work together, or simply leave the machine shining with their sweat..all this is true..it is also true that at least mens locker, bath, sauna remain clean or acceptable on most of the working hours, it is also true that some employees are carrying back to the rack the weights they find spread all over the club, it is true that the front desk, at least with me, they are always energized, attentive and for the most part smiling....it is also true that the instructors for spinning, yoga..etc and other classes do their best, it is also true that in busy hours it is going to be more difficult to get a machine...it is true that I enjoy my workout there and I recognize the big effort that every and each employee is doing.

Its funny reading these reviews.... FYI the people that rated this gym 4 stars or more are completely full of it or they know someone that works there!! Worst part about this gym is the weight rack and free weights. i can never find any weights that are from 10-35 pounds!! I look around to see whos using them since NONE are available and I promise you wont find them! Its like people just EAT them for muscle gain!! oh from 5-9 you pretty much arent getting a workout.... I will give two stars because there is OTHER things you can utilize like the cardio machines, weight machines and the classes. I personally like the Spin classes..... I always get a crazy sweat and feel great after... I honestly havent been treated rudely, but if I was I would give them the same treatment.... My advice about coming to this gym is to go when its not its busiest and be creative with your workout (dont depend on the dumb bells)
