Poorly thought out layout. HORRIBLE inept trainers. Crowded and low energy gym. The free weight section is tiny and shoved in a small wall in front of the dumbbells, so its always overcrowded. The cardio equipment should be in the middle of the gym since it doesnt require a wall, but instead the genius who made the floor plan put those stations up against a wall, facing away from the wall. They could easily run electricity down the support pillars to the cardio equipment, and place that in the large open gap in the middle of the gym. Remember, this space used to be a Winn-Dixie, which had run electricity EVERYWHERE. That space by the wall should be allocated better for more benches, a shoulder press, a squat rack, and a mirrors. Theere are only a total of two barbell bench press stations for this huge gym. what happens when more than 3 people are doing chest during any given time? Theres only one proper squat rack for non-peak members. Only One proper leg extension machine and one leg curl station in the entire gym. They placed weight a plate storage rack and chest dip station in front of mirrors where people could be working out instead. Again, no thought, seems like the person(s) who laid out the place didnt actually think about the needs of the members. As i said before; Existing Freeweight space is tiny and overcrowded most of the time, this rearrangement would allow more people to workout without bumping into each other as we do now. So much wrong with the setup of the gym I noticed has made more than a handful of people switch to LA Fitness or Pivotal Fitness. On To The Staff: Constant turnover, but at least theyre friendly. The trainers however are terrible. For the heck of it, I had a session with the thin male trainer with glasses (i wont put his name on here) and i knew within 15 minutes hes completely inept and in over his head. He was showing me how to do exercises, but with bad form which could end up injuring me. He didnt know which exercises were for what muscle groups, he had me occupy multiple workout stations at a time, which i could see was irritating other (paying) members of the gym (it is rude). He just has no idea what hes doing, day after day i see him "training" these people and hes really doing them a disservice, its the blind leading the blind , if you will. The fact that he isnt fit exemplifies that he cannot train anyone, including himself to be physically fit. The other trainers are no better, i was certified as a fitness trainer for YEARS and Ive never seen such ineptitude, and lack of knowledge, lack of personal fitness and lack of pride-in-work in a group of trainers. Thats why i thought it was bizarre when i saw they are kicking out members who ARE certified . People who have a certification cannot workout at your gym? interesting. The worst part of this gym is the clientele. My workout buddy deemed it a "minimum wage gym", not the nicest way to put it. Basically members pay somewhere around $10-$20 dollars a month for a membership. Very inexpensive. If yore paying so little for a membership youll get what you pay for, most of the people who frequent this place are classless, clueless, loud, rude, and have no couth. Id rather Crunch charge members a little more each month and let the price get rid of the riff-raff. Also, most members, youll notice are just sitting around on their cell phones. The management needs to do something about this because I often have to politely ask other members if i can use the equipment there sitting and texting/playing candy crush on. One more thing, they dont play the music loud enough to actually hear over other people chatting and they only play infomercials on the TVs. its just the weirdest, least motivational gym Ive ever gone to in my life. Period. I hope that the management reads this and makes considerations which will hopefully help this business.

I applied for gym 2 years ago around 2014 I took on a second job and I realize I was not able to attend the gym as much as I would like for the amount of money that was paid which at the time was $20 a month automatically deduct it out of my bank so they have already took 3 months prior out of my account being the fact that I have not ever show my face for those 3 months I asked them to cancel my account the young lady I spoke to on the phone told me to come in and she would cancel it when I got there a black gentleman told me that I had to wait the next following month so that means Ill be 4 months a lot of $20 I said thats totally unfair and they would not do anything to assist me with that so I called up my bank because I seen that they were still taking money out of my account when I asked them to cancel and they didnt say anything to me about a cancellation fee after call my bank and reported my card lost and told them not to let crunch automatically take payments out of my account Crunch to collection 127 dollar mind you I have not attended gym for about 2 years they said they never received automatic payments for me only my enrollment fee which was only $47 which is highly impossible they told me when I went to speak to them today September 13th 20 16 around 7 oclock p.m. that my account is still active I asked them to cancel my account because my account is still being charged when Im going there or not they refused to cancel it now Im running around with my head cut off like a chicken and there is nothing that is being done now the man has told me today that I told them three hundred and some dollars how can I owe you guys money if Im not attending your gym and I have asked you numerous times to cancel my account yet today youre still not giving me the cancellation form

I PAY FOR A PEAK MEMBERSHIP! COME ON CRUNCH EMPLOYEES!! START MANAGING THE BACK AREA. Management is NOT GOOD!!! I own a company, customer service and member retention should be a primary concern to the owner of this gym. The gym itself is very nice however the management is so lazy!!! A peak member pays more to work out in a separate part of the gym. It is known as the functional, crossfire part of the gym. You are suppose to wear a wrist band if you are a peak member. This gives you access to the back area. EVERY TIME I go to work out there are tons of people, who do not know what they are doing, hogging the equipment and are NOT peak members. When you ask the staff to regulate it, they just walk over and give EVERYONE wrist bands...OH MY GOODNESS. AGAIN get it together crunch. Either charge everyone the same rate and use the entire gym, or actually do something about regulating the peak area. You would make more money in upgrades, if the front desk staff would stop just sitting around up front, and actually regulate the back area. You can upgrade memberships and make more money. If you join this gym dont pay more for the peak membership...there is no point! Plus the bathrooms are gross and when they do clean, they clean during prime time. Have you tried working out while they are vacuuming in front of you? Or spraying chemicals are you are squatting?? management is very poor!
