My experience at Planet Fitness was awful! The "manager", Bill, was rude, had a very nasty attitude and told me "..If I didnt like it, To leave.. You dont have to come here.." If this is how paying customers get treated, this WILL be my last visit! Anybody working as Customer Service should have a positive attitude, respectful and follow the motto.. "customers are ALWAYS right".. To have a business, you need customers, to keep customers, you have to keep them happy and if you keep them happy, they will keep paying to come. With managers like Bill, Planet Fitness will soon have no customers! Planet Fitness needs to hire the correctly skilled people for jobs.. If it allowed me to rate zero stars, this review would have a zero star for my experience! Also, I will tell my friends and make sure everyone knows that Planet Fitness has HORRIBLE customer service and to not go there! Hope you correct Bills position as Manager because he cant fulfill his duties and make customers happy and have a good experience while they are working out. If anything, he should be a Janitor, they dont have to speak to customers, or have any other skills then to clean.

If you are looking for employment and a chance to further your career, dont apply at Planet Fitness. Its ok for a first job for teens or students, maybe, but as a personal trainer it did not provide me the challenge I need to further myself and to work my hardest. Half the time I was told to scrub treadmills or clean bathrooms, which, frankly, is quite sad. I didnt apply just to become a janitor, after spending so much time and money on my professional certifications. Also, they laid me off without any kind of advance notice or professionalism, and corporate blatantly lied about the reason why I was fired. I loved the customers, so it was sad to leave merely because I had established some nice connections with some sweet people. No love-loss for the corporate policies and deception, though.

Just joined and it couldnt be better. The gym is very clean, the machines are in great working order and everyone that works there is extremely nice and helpful. The hydromassage tables and new tanning beds are wonderful after working out. Wanted to mention that their trainer, Leah is an absolute joy. Included in either of your memberships is Leah to design your own personal workout program if you want and will even take you around the gym and show you how everything works and whats best for you. She puts the icing on the cake in going there. Recommend PF highly!

Ive been very happy with this no frills gym but there is an ongoing problem with keeping the towel dispensers filled. I was fed up and rudely complained. The staff , in my opinion, over reacted and almost had me thrown out. I was chewed out for 20 seconds but allowed to stay. Maybe it was a bad day for the staff and myself. No point in mentioning names. For the price I ll put up with a little crap.Some customer service training would be beneficial. I will still recommend this gym.

I like the gym, good equipment, clean facilities, the only thing that made me not give 5 stars is the people workimg there i had an employee named chris follow me to the parking lot and tell me to suck his dick and tell a girl that i was with not to hang out with me anymore, other than that muscle headed douche everything is awesome. Just hope that if you go there the staff are having a good day because if not they will try to fight you apparentally.

Black Card Member from Atlanta, moving to Ocala. Read some reviews prior to arriving that were fairly disparaging and was Shocked ! Visited Ocala location and was treated like a BRAND NEW MEMBER !...offered a tour of facility by knowledgeable staff member (Turned out to be NEW Manager...Jen Marshall)...& BTW,..she is"JACKED" !. Gym reminded me of MY gym in Atlanta,., so I truly felt @ home... Overall ...looking forward to MY NEW HOME Gym in Ocala !

Well for starters the manager bill has a nasty attitude this guy dont have any customer service experience what so ever he told me that if I dont like the rules and regulations that I can go to another gym this guy is rude to the customers corporate should do something about it before all your customers go to another gym this guy bill should smile sometimes instead of walking around the gym like he is pissed of at the world

I am a new member and I am EXTREMELY HAPPY. The staff I have met so far: Chris, Jacob, Lindsey & Brenna are very knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. I felt no intimidation by anyone. The gym is clean, the machines are in excellent working order and the staff is always available to answer questions. This is truly a NON JUDGEMENTAL ZONE!! You have me for life!

I found the employees haley Chris and Jeff to be super nice and very professional they took a picture with me on my first day at planet fitness and helped me figure out how to use the exercise equipment. I hope everyone gets the chance to better themselves in this wonderful judgment free Zone and have these amazing employees to help you along your fitness journey.

Great price for amenities! Would be nice if the members would clean up after themselves.Staff has always been friendly to me! No issues at all beside people not cleaning the machines before& after every use.And we wonder why our health insurances are high.Unsanitary people always getting sick.

This gym rocks...good cardio machines, level four stand-up tanning, leg sled, my favorite ab machine, favorite hip abduction, huge ab room...great truck parking, super friendly staff, clean with nice hot showers and a full length mirror in locker room...awesome job Ocala Planet Fitness !

If you cancel your membership they will charge you for the last month even if you cancel before its due. I was advised that they are allowed to and they refused to stop payment. I had to go through my bank and dispute the transaction with proof of the prior cancellation to get it back.

Clean gym and plenty of equipment. Tanning beds are clean and usually no wait. Also take the opportunity to check out the massage beds. Its worth checking out!. Google Map needs to do a better job at identifying when Im at the gym versus another store inside of the shopping center.

I love this gym. The staff is great & friendly! All equipment & machines are clean & neat. Very nice environment, great workout atmosphere & wonderful for friends & family to join! I enjoy my workout at Planet Fitness! A judge free zone. Worth every penny! :)

Decent gym for the price, very clean and has a great amount of work equipment so you dont have to wait in line typically. Although it is fairly busy so if you arent a fan of crowds go for weekday afternoons.

Manager bill and costumer service sucks. Will not be going back until management is changed. Being a black card I should get more respect. The manager bill was very disrespectful to me and my friends.

Outstanding price. Great cardio equipment. The weight options are a bit limited; however you can always get a great workout at PF. We also had a really good experience with the trainers.

Decent gym, but gets very busy during the day at least in the small free weight section (which only go up to 75 lbs). Loud alarm sounds every time someone makes noise
