The zone and I got off to a bit of a rough start. I did a fit challenge with my work and the zone opened the door to staff of the hospital, which was awesome. I sat down with Niki and we talked about prices. Now the price I was quoted was about $20 more than I was previously paying at my old gym. Niki went on to do the daily price break down and really sell me on zone prices (thats her job I dont blame her). I went through my fit challenge trying to convience myself the $20 extra dollars was worth it. I was in fact losing weight and I was enjoying the gym, so I said screw it and signed up. Now when I went to sign up the previous price quoted to me was not the actual price I was going to pay, oh no the new price was now an extra $12 MORE than the quote. So now Im in it for an extra $32 a month from my current gym prices. This created a bit of distrust in me being quoted one price and then Charged a different price. Niki explained to me the price she told me I would be paying was only if 50 members signed up, she should have been honest about that instead she completely sold me on one price and rebuffed. I was a of course upset and felt misled but Niki convienced me to push forward with the membership saying the price might drop, it didnt. I honestly dont know if 50 people signed up the trust was broken by a salesmen mentality, so Im not sure how honest anyone would be with me about how many members they really got to sign up. Now I have to say my experience since then has been super positive. The staff is really kind always saying hello, always trying to remember your name (lets face it lots of members so they are doing great), the facility is clean, Im losing weight, and I feel great. The staff always seems willing to help and they genuinely seem like they care about your goals. The price to me is still a bit tough and if I find another gym I enjoy as much with a better price Ill probably leave, Im paying $42 a month for the lowest membership with no childcare even though I was quoted $32 but Im trying to remind myself you get what you pay for so the money is well spent.

Richard in the nutrional bar has excellent leadership skills which helps him motivate his team and helps build their confidence. He inspires them by setting examples of himself.Richard possesses the ability to make customers or clients, and colleagues be completely at ease by solving any problems that they haveofHe always appreciates the good work done by his team members which helps in raising their morale. The respect he shows others is also given to him which proclaims his natural leadership qualities.His attitude towards his workplace and his relationships with colleagues are extremely professional without being cold or unapproachable.Richard always stays ahead of the game by gathering information that will allow him to meet the demands that the market places on the company.He is proactive about developing relationships with people who would be beneficial to the working of the company.Richard Is capable of handling great stress with utmost ease and coming up with solutions in the most stressful situations, he never loses his cool and handles problems without any kind of assistance at all. I am proud to have come across paths with this young, enthusiastic leader.

As a guest from another gym (that shall remained unnamed) I visited Zone Heath & Fitness, and I am here to tell you that the level of personal care and attention that I received has gone unmatched! Not only by other gyms but in my customer service experiences to boot. Kim, Sanai & Richard at the Fuel Zone Café were not only knowledgeable about their products and services, they were extremely attentive and unbelievably kind. Upon entering I was greeted with a very enthusiastic and sincere "Welcome to Zone!" by a perfectly lovely young lady by the name of Lakeisha (I hope I spelled that correctly!) All this was before I even got a chance to workout! By the by, try the Breakfast Smoothie it was fantastic and just what I needed for my workout. I was escorted throughout the facility by Kelli and my mind was blown, I was thoroughly impressed by her attention to detail and willingness to answer my every question and then some that I didnt even think to ask! After my workout, I was then offered a 7 day pass to experience the full amenities that Zone has to offer. Which is quite a bit. Do yourselves a favor Ocala and GET IN THE ZONE!

Quit the Ocala Zone Gym Today. Member since it opened. A well stocked gym for a work-out but not well run by management. While they try to remodel, and push innovative services like water from a moving cooler, and have lots of people employed to instruct patrons on fitness issues, they do not empower their coaches/desk clerks to actually problem solve. The people who meet the public must have the power to make executive decisions--putting the customer first. I was told by an employee that he was just a desk clerk and was not able to make decisions ( he could not turn the obscene overhead music volume down). Zone has Great equipment that is not cleaned thoroughly. Plants that have dust all over them and equipment is allowed to be re-homed constantly and not policed to be returned to its assigned space. Please hire a Quality Management Expert. Meanwhile I am done. Joined the Deluca YMCA! At least he knows how to put the customer FIRST. Col Judith Makem USAF (Ret.)

I was in Ocala for the weekend visiting family and decided to get in a workout at Zone Health and Fitness. I was super impressed with this gym, and having lifted weights all my life and been to countless numbers of gyms, this has to be at the top of my list. The equipment feels like it is brand new and well maintained. Also, there is plenty of space so you dont feel cramped, and all of the equipment is grouped together by body-parts which makes it easy to throw in super sets. They have an extensive dumbbell section, multiple pieces of the more popular pieces of equipment such as smith machines, leg presses, bench press, and plenty of dumbbells. There child care is amazing with tons of fun things for the kids to do, and I would feel extremely comfortable leaving my 3 yr old in there care while I workout. Anybody serious about getting in shape doesnt have to look any further than this gym, its got everything a person would need and a whole lot more!

Young amateur salesman with no experience and they dont pay attention to the customers demand when they execute contract. The salesmans name was Muhammed he was given notice that I would pay cash payment every month on the first.The system has a pro ration on the 25th of every month so Muhammed did not bother to look on the computer that they had taken payment from my account. When I arrived there he asked me for payment without checking the computer.The following month Muhammed started tapping on my shoulder while I was at the bar and asking me for payment. I told him that he needed to check his computer before harassing me. There is no management it is a mickey mouse operation, Muhammed runs around like a bird dog for the owner.They fire bartenders every 2 or 3 days for no reason and are always out of fruit and juice at the bar.I am not happy with the lack of management and will no longer go to this health and fitness center.
