Oldsmar Automotive is beyond exceptional. My rack and pinion in my 2012 Nissan Xterra needed to be replaced. It was replaced before at another shop which did a semi decent job. The part was under warranty through North American auto parts distribution. I tried to go to the Nissan dealership and was met with aggression and was quite literally told they would not work on it due to it being a warranty other than Nissan. North American auto parts told me I may chose any auto repair facility of my choice, and they would pay parts and labor. So after the fiasco with the dealership I found Oldsmar Automotive. I called and got in touch with Justin Naccarato, manager of Oldsmar Automotive, and was given quality customer service. Justin listened to my issue at hand and was more than willing to go through the steps needed to file a claim through North American auto parts. Within 35 hours my SUV was repaired and driving better than ever! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Oldsmar Automotive if youre looking for respectful service, quality work, and quick turn around.

If you are looking for friendly, honorable, and trustworthy automotive repair specialists, then look no further than Oldsmar Automotive. At the beginning of 2016, I knew my vehicle needed a ton of work, which included new brake pads, rotors, oil change, and spark plugs. Two months later, my check engine light came on, so I brought my vehicle back to Oldsmar Automotive. They told me that it would cost $45 to run a diagnostic on my car to see why the check engine sensor came on. After running the diagnostic, they said that there might be some sludge build-up; however, since I just got an oil change from them two months ago, they told me that I should get the system flushed the next time I needed an oil change. When asked what the charge would be for the visit that day, the gentleman said that there was absolutely no charge. To me, that speaks volumes as to the type of people that work at Oldsmar Automotive.

After receiving a quote on 08/08/2015 of almost $600 from Autoway Toyota for my 2010 Camry to have my breaks repaired, I opted to get a second opinion. Last Saturday I took the car into Oldsmar Automotive after browsing all of the positive online reviews. They quoted me $20 to do the estimate, with the point that any work I would need done would have that $20 credited towards that work. When all was said and done, I didnt need any work. Autoway Toyota were crooks trying to con me, and Im eternally grateful to OA. That amount wouldnt have broken the bank, but it is still a lot of money. They took me out to my car and showed me up close to make sure I felt confident in their diagnosis. That was the best $20 I have ever spent. They have earned long time customers in my wife and I. And Autoway Toyota has lost a customer for life.

Caveat emptor ... Latin for "Let the buyer beware" Recently relocated from JAX, thought I would try this place based upon the "positive" on-line reviews. I had an intermittent TPM service light on my vehicle which eventually went full-time. Id received a quote from my previous mechanic to remove and replace it for about $80 (no charge for the estimate). I asked my wife to stop in while running errands and see about having the TPM replaced. Quote from Oldsmar Auto came back @ $160 including $50 for "Diagnostics" (which involves holding a wireless scanner near the valve stem of the tire). I negotiated the diagnostic charge down to $25; went up McMullen Booth to Tires Plus and had the TPM replaced for $82.50.

I had just came from the Dr.s and had two cortisone shots in my knees when I blew out my front tire. After trying to change it myself I wasnt able to bend enough to see where the jack went and was just about to give up.Thank God Oldsmar automotive was right there. Justin came to my rescue and helped me change my tire and then offered to order a new one for me. Had I had the money I would have, but the fact that he helped me get back on the road restored my faith in humanity. Yes there are still good people out there willing to help someone stranded. It says a lot for what kind of people work at Oldsmar automotive and you should check them out.

I have a 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis which I had some problems with but nothing major until the front ball joint broke on me and I was stranded. The guys at Oldsmar Automotive sent a tow truck to get my car and replaced all the front ball joints. They also diagnosed many other small problems with the vehicle which I was able to fix before it caused anymore major issues. They got my car back to me in a timely manner and explained everything in great detail before they began the work. I have finally found an honest shop which I plan on using anytime I need work done and am recommending them to all my family and friends.

I dont normally trust Auto mechanics but the new owner seemed very nice. The guy that called about my repair cost, not so much. The repair was really expensive $900+ and I was told I wouldnt have to pay the $40 diagnostic fee if they did my work but they still charged me anyway and I didnt notice until after the fact. I said I found the parts online way less than what I was quoted but the mechanic said they wouldnt warrant anything they didnt get....but thats why I have trouble trusting mechanics...BUT I will probably give them another chance. I wish I made $85 an hour.

Do not use this shop. These guys do not have any heart for work they do. Just get your money and lack on the how to permenantly fix your car issue. I had AC problem and required to change compressor. less than month compressor broke shred bunch of metal all over in my AC system. They let me change everything in AC, I mean Everything. Coil, Condencer, Compressor, Drier, Orfice tube even changing Evaperator. After 200 miles AC broke again. They telling me they gonna charge me to look at it or to go somewhere else. Cant believe it. Bull crap place.

We are new to the area and I truly cannot find enough words to express my gratitiue for the troubleshooting and work done on our vehicle. I have never meet a mechanic that was willing to go to great lengths to help their customers till I came to Oldster Automotive( which is under new management). Justin the manager went above and beyond to help us. I definitely recommend them for any issues you may have mechanically as they are honest and upfront about everything which is truly hard to find these days. Thank You once again!

My 6 month old tire went flat on the way to work and I didnt notice until I pulled in to the Circle K next door. They came over right away, put on a spare, and refilled all my tires with air. They let me know the problem with my tire was probably an issue shop who sold me the tire needed to fix. They not only helped me get my tire fixed at the original shop for free but also didnt charge me any money for changing my tire. I will definitely be using them in the future!!
