I recently went to Tires Plus for an oil change and asked if they could check and charge my ac as it was not as cold as it should be. I had gone to this location because not long ago, I had a tire problem and my boyfriend took my car in and replaced the tire and got an oil change. My mechanic is not as conveniently located, so I decided to bring it to TP again, since I felt that I had a good experience last time. I waited at a nearby Starbucks and about an hour later "Coach" called me to tell me that when the service tech ran the dye, he detected leaks, also when he attempted to charge it, I was told that my compressor seized and it would be $890 to fix. I drive a 2005 Pontiac and hope to buy a new car in the next three months. Naturally, I do not want to put that much into this car and was disheartened to think that I would now have difficulty selling it or trading it in for a decent value. Not to mention the fact, that I am in Florida where feels like temperatures can easily be in the upper 90s. I have driven without air conditioning for a week and on a whim, decided to take it to my mechanic to see if they could do anything. As it turns out, they ran the dye and did not detect major leaks. The compressor is fine and the charge and service cost me $80 and I now have ice cold air. I am thoroughly disgusted with Tires Plus on East lake Road in Palm Harbor, Florida and intend on sharing my experience with others. They are complete CROOKS and buyers should beware!!! I am also disappointed that I trusted these "expert opinions" and when I was asked to do a survey online, I gave both the sales associate and the technician high marks, never imagining that they were liars and cheats.

Terrible 3 separate times Ive gone to this TP for help but not once have I had a good experience. The first time my car had an odd click so I took it there and they charged me for a new timing belt and more which come out to over $500. A week later my car started clicking again and just shut down while at a red light. When we took it back for help they said the motor in the engine was shot. Why couldnt they figure that out the first time I brought in the car. The other time I had an oil leak so when I took it in they checked it out and one of their mechanics assured me that there was no leak. 3 days later I took it back and told them It was definitely leaking. They looked at it and said that a valve gasket was loose so I took it home and fixed it on my own but what do you know it is still leaking. Lazy workers who do the least amount of work necessary. Not going back again.

These guys have restored faith in the auto service industry for me. I have always felt uneasy with quotes for as long as I can remember from any auto service center. BUT the guys at this Tires Plus have really been saviors telling me what is best for my wallet and my budget, never taking advantage when others may. The other day I came in with a car having trouble starting, they diagnosed quickly it was the battery and let me know it was under warranty so I could get replaced where i purchased rather than just selling me a new battery. They have given many years of good service, but this help saved me $120+ as they were spot on and i got a free battery from Walmart. Definitely a customer for life!!

Brought my car in due to steering issues for a diagnostic. The friendly guys over at tires plus claimed I needed new control arms, plus other miscellaneous parts, and quoted me ~$1000. Took it to another shop, they simply tightened bolts on each control arm free of charge, and I have not had any issues since. Not sure whether dishonesty or incompetence is to blame here but I can truly say it makes me sick to think Ive spent hard earned money at this shop in the past for repairs I probably did not even need.

I have been going to tires plus in Oldsmar and East lake for several years on and off but over the past 9 months have been continually harassed by one of their employees Orville Mark Mansfield. I called the manager of both stores and made an official complaint and nothing stops. He still texts, sends fb messages, calls and even snowed up at my home once! He says highly inappropriate comments. Feel very unsafe. Next step will be a restraining order. Place needs serious management overhaul. Females beware.

Took my daughters car thinking at best to spend about $40 to fix a flat and the sensor, or at worst, to spend $65+ on a new tire that seemed to have a screw in it. Was very pleasantly surprised when sales associate, Ricky Hyde, came out to say that apparently the screw appeared worse than it was and didnt puncture the inner tube....and then said there was no charge for even checking it out. Would refer anyone there after that!

From the moment I called in, until the moment I walked into the office, up until I got my keys back nothing but very polite and awesome service! Awesome women and Men, for timely and professional service considering it was 11 am on a Saturday! Now thats impressive and inexpensive overall! Already cant wait to come back for my next visit! Not happy. Called on a Saturday to get oil change Sunday morning before a trip and the person that answered the phone assured me that if I came in at 9am they would get me in and out quick. That wasnt the case. There were 4 people in line when I got there and my wait time was 2 hours. Pure laziness. He shouldv pulled up the appointments in the computer when I called and set me an appointment.

The managers here really care about this location and their reputation. I use to hate taking my care in for oil changes but this Tires Plus makes it such a painless experience. I feel welcomed when I enter and when I schedule an appointment I am in and out within 30 min.

Theses guys care and know there stuff, I never take my truck to anyone else. And if they just dont do that type of work there. I ask them where to go. The best in the business. A plus on all things. Service, know how, prices, and quality of work. !!!!****!!!!

Typical "we dont need your business" attitude at this Tires Plus. Show up right when they open and hear about how under staffed they are and theyll try to "work you in". Should be called Olson Total Joke.
