Overall, My experience was OK. My hardrive on my Gateway All-in-one crashed two months outside of the warranty. I brought the computer in to the shop and spoke with the technician, Jesus, who said he could restore the data for $50 and charge an additional $150 to install a new hardrive. So far so good. He then called a few hours into the repair and told me he couldnt retrieve the data. I almost expected this although was a bit discouraged because he told me he would be able to get the data. I called the next day and he told me that he was almost done with hardrive and driver installs and it would be a couple more hours. A few hours later I went in to pick up the computer and was ready to pay to find out at that time that the repair was $30 more than I was quoted. Jesus passed the buck off on his boss who said his boss changed the figure in the computer and didnt tell him of the increase in repair price. Apparently Jesus quoted me a 1 TB hardrive and my system was a 2 TB hardrive. I told Jesus I was very dissapointed that only at the time to pay I was made aware of the price change. My complaint isnt against the extra money, its against not being quoted an accurate price and also for only hearing of the change at the time to pay and not earlier. I maybe would have not chosen to spend the extra $30 and/or not move forward with the repair. The point is I was not given any option from our originally agreed price. My suggestion is that if you have them do a repair for you, have them give you their quote in writing so you have an understanding and therefore no surprises. The technician Jesus apologized but he didnt offer to change the price. I paid the new price and went home. The computer turned on fine but I realized my wireless keyboard was not working. I spoke to Jesus who offered another keyboard if I made the 30 minute trip back in. I have a good working computer and thus they did a good job but I cant give a 5 rating because of the lack of communication of the increased price, which I only found out at the very end. I write this to try to give constructive feedback for this new business. They do good work, Jesus was very pleasant to work with. I just hate surprises!

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude, to Ehab, for servicing my parents computer in such a prompt, reliable, and overall professional manner. Please note, he really went out of his way by lowering the original quote (estimate), not ONCE but TWICE, after realizing that fewer repairs had to be performed than initially expected. He even suggested to repair the fan, instead of replacing an entire power supply. Few places will take the time to do this, let alone tell you since it probably cuts into their bottom-line. Ehab will. His flat rate is $50, and for this, he installed a new OS and repaired a damaged fan on an already over-repaired, bloated, and heavily used computer from years ago. I arranged to drop-off the computer, on Tuesday, just before closing at 6 p.m. and had it returned to me the next day, in the early afternoon. Communication was snappy and constant with him at all times. As for how the computer feels...well... it is brand new, to say the least. He works out of a modest office in the Winter Park area, but single-handedly beats any franchised mega-store in service, quality, & pricing of work performed. I was quoted by three separate stores, which will remain nameless, all asking for upwards of $200 for the same exact repair. Talk about a blatant rip-off! Simply put, you will not find a more honest computer-repair professional in Central Florida or anywhere else today, coupled with undoubtedly the most competitive rates/prices in this town. Frankly, its a fresh breadth of air to know that there still exist businesses like his today. Dont hesitate to give him a call, or even drive out of your way to have him resolve your computer problems. He is more than worth it. Thanks again, Ehab.

Horrible service. Please refrain from using this repair facility when needing to fix laptops or any other electronics. I initially went to this shop after reading decent reviews and I figured that since I didnt have a very big issue it wouldnt be a problem to bring it here. I took my work laptop in because the hinge on it was making a cracking noise after I dropped it. I spoke with Jesus and he advised me that it would be a very easy fix and that in 24 hours I would be able to pick up up. I went in the very next day to pick up my laptop and everything looked fine, but I didnt think to turn it on before leaving. Once I got home and tried to work on it, I realized that my laptop was not turning on. After finally reaching the owner I met him back at the shop a couple of hours later after explaining I could not go to work without this operating properly. After the owner looked at my computer he advised me that Jesus had apparently screwed into a LCD cable when trying to close the plastic backing back up. He advised me they would refund me my money and make the proper repairs. After a week of being with no computer and me continually calling because I was not being updated, I decided to pick up my laptop and take it somewhere else. A $70 hinge repair has now cost me $300 and having to replace my entire LCD screen because of Orlando Laptop Repair. To say the least I am dissatisfied with this facility and 3 weeks later still have not received the $70 refund that I was advised I would get. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. The quality is less than good and the customer service is even worse.

Avoid. Went there when they had their old location on 436. And every time before, they did stellar work, were quick & fair. We probably went there about 3 times in the last year for upgrade work or repair. Something changed after they moved. We recently took our tower to get fixed after a serious crash. During that time, we tried to call them for updates. Every time we called the technician was out at a "meeting." Calls were not returned -- we had to keep calling. After over two weeks, we were told we needed a new part. They were trying to order it from their distributor - we found it online and had it shipped. Two weeks more - admittedly part of the delay was due to shipping. Over a month later, computer is returned. We turn it on, and it crashed with a Blue Screen. Moreover old directories were duplicated so disk space was almost non-existent. Stayed up the better part of the night trying to figure out why it was crashing. I think what irked us the most was the fact that the technician never proactively called us. We had to hound them for updates. The technician was also never on site when we visited the store. So we had no choice but to call. We ended up taking it to another shop that was open. Problem was fixed in FIVE minutes. Now the machine hums. Were never going back to PC Repair. If that was their goal to turn us off as customers - they did a good job. Nor will we recommend them to anyone.
