The worst experience ever!!! I had Tracy. Couple months ago I took my son for a haircut. Made it easier for her and had her use a razor to shave his head. It seemed ok,but at home I noticed long peaces of hair and uneven cuts( even with a razor) that I had to fix at home. Oh well, I should have done it myself as I always did!!!Back then I said never again.Gave them another chance and the same lady(Tracy) gave a haircut to my 3 year old daughter 3 days ago. How stupid of me!!!! My daughter had beautiful hair , just wanted it a bit shorter, same style.I understand that it is difficult for some hairdressers to cut kids hair, since they dont sit still. My child didnt even breath how still she was and gave her a perfect opportunity for a nice cut. That lady went mad. Even ,not even ,who cares, she went crazy!!!!!Chunks of hair were flying and I was speechless from the shock. I still was thinking she knew what she is doing ,but like the lady before me said, I would do better myself, with the pot over my daughters head. I left her even a tip, still hoping maybe when I wash it it will be better.NOOOO WAYYYY!!!!! Now,every time I look at my daughter she looks like she was attacked by vicious dogs and I feel like crying because I blame myself for even going there.I hope her hair grows quickly enough so we can have it redone by professionals, since its too short to do anything about it now. Please dont go to that place. Professionals ?And knowing about colouring hair?No, way just look at some people there and you get the message. NEVER AGAN !!!!!!

My friend just moved here from out of state and referred me to Tracy at fantastic sams,the difference between a good haircut and a bad one is 3 weeks..that is what I always say....well it has been 5 and without a doubt is the worst haircut I have ever had! looks like someone put a bowl on my head and cut around it! I asked for some layers to give me some lift,so she cut the top short and then proceeded to thin the rest of my hair,too lazy to blend in some layers I guess, clearly continuing education is in line here, mullets have been out for 30+ years....she did tell me if I wasnt happy in a couple of days to come back and she would fix it...ok, so she realized she screwed up, and why in hell would i go back to have the girls who messed up my hair to have her fix it?????ok, so I have learned my lesson... I will never go to a fantastic sams again and put the word out..and I will never go somewhere where the place is empty (should have been a red flag) and never go to a place an hour before they close, and to be quite frank if the girl that does your hair looks like they havent even washed their hair in a week...that too should have been a red flag extremely disappoointed... she knocked the price down $10 but i gave it to her anyways, God knows why, hopefully she will put it towards continuing education...I cant even get it "fixed" anywhere I would have to havemost of it cut off...luckily for me my hair grows fast so in another 6 weeks (maybe) I can get it fixed

I agree with many of the reviews that walk-ins are not welcome. I guess its good that the staff has built up regular clientele, however, that now seems to be their primary business and walk-ins are told it may be several hours because they are so booked or told to come back another day (when the same thing repeats). The last time I was there, I was not pleasant and miraculously they got me in in about 10 minutes. This place needs to decide if they are a niche boutique and stop saying walk-ins are welcome or they need to get back on track with their advertising. With all these bad reviews, youd think management would do something about this, however, I suspect whoever the manager is is part of the problem with regular clients.

had to wait for operator to arrive and set up. She never shut up. color complete but was told could not blow out until she did the woman in her chair. Dont know how long that would have been, but that was it for me. Stopped her from starting woman and told her I wanted to check out. Then she did not give me senior prices and acted surprise at such a small tip. Should have given her just $ .01. Everyone seemed fine, but this operator is to be avoided at all cost. Her hair cuts looked fine if you can put up with all the above mentioned treatment.

Do not EVER go here for color!!! I had to go back to get it fixed and she didnt even fix it. This was the "manager" who did my hair. When I went back to get it fixed, one of the other employees tried to give her some guidance and she didnt listen to what she said. She took a short cut and was lazy about it. I ended up having to go to another Salon and having them fix it. I spent almost $200.00 for her to kill my hair. And then another $100 at another Salon to get it fixed which is where I should have gone in the first place.

This place it terrible! Im not sure how they hire stylists, but my husband just came home with a huge spot on the side of his head almost bald...she messed up then tried to pretend nothing happened. My husband was so furious he had to buzz his whole head just to get everything even!!!! Do not go! I have no idea what this stylist was thinking! I would hope for a little more focus, but I guess thats too much to ask. Run far away from here!!!!

When I can get a haircut its good and so is the service but the last 3 times I have been there is was told they didnt have time for me and I would have to make an appointment. The whole reason I go to a place like Fantastic Sams is for convenience. If your so busy you might want to hire some more employees this is the closest place to my house and I dont think I will give them the opportunity to turn me away a fourth time.

Walk ins NOT welcome. Be sure to call before to make an appointment otherwise you will not get in. I watched them turn away two people at 7:15 when the stylist was done by 7:30 and the store didnt close until 8:00pm. The stylists are more concerned with leaving on time than helping customers.

Walk-Ins Welcome... Or not. Walked in and was told that I should have called or could drive to another location. This made my choice really easy. If you dont want my business, well... Someone else gets it now.
