I rented a home on 8004 Chickasaw Ln. Port Richey, FL 34668. I will start from the begining when we rented the home. I walked in (my friend picked out the home) and as soon as I looked at the place I called Gini Lipsey of Prudential to ask if there was any way that I could get out of the lease. Keep in mind that we had not moved in yet and had just surrendered the first months rent and deposit. When I asked if i Could get out of the lease because I told Gini that the house was just crapy, for lack of a better word, and that i was depressed that i had even signed the lease, SHE TOLD ME I COULD GET OUT OF IT BUT THEY WOULD KEEP MY DEPOSIT. I had not even moved in and just signed the day before. They never planed on giving me back my deposit. They are RIP off artist. The last tenets clothes were still in the closets of the home, all the closet doors were falling off, all the previous tenets childres things were still hanging on the walls and we had to take it all down. if you go into the attic now you will probably still find his stuffed animals that were never removed. there were dishes in the kitchen, there was an old table in the garage along with some kind of oil and all kinds of paint that was never removed. the carpet was old and had a big paint stain on it when we moved in, even though they tried to tell me it was brand new. The windows in the home had tape covering holes in them and if you ran a hose over the window they all leaked. we had lizards in the home. I had to have someone come out to replace three doors in the home. I let them know that the place was already in bad shape. I get a call from Gini after we move out, and after i paid 200 dollars for a guy to remove all of the trash out of the garage (most of the trash as i stated was from the prevous tenet). there was writting on the wall in the bathrooms and i am willing to bet it is still there. Gini Lipsey calls me after I moved out and tells me that she is disappointed in the way that we left the house. I voiced my disagreement and said that i thought it was probably in better shape than when we moved in. I am guessing they kept the last tenets deposit for all the same things they are saying they are repairing now, there was a strip of duct tape on the front door that was supposed to block bugs from getting in i guess. this home was in and is in bad shape. I argued with Gini on the phone for a while very calmly. I told her i disagreed and also told her that i was not trying to give her a hard time, but i strongly disagreed. I called Gini Lipsey numerous times and left at least 2 messages in the days to follow. I wanted to speak with her about the house and try to work this out. She ignored my messages and never called me back despite my asking numerous times in a nice way. Today i get a bill in the mail saying that they are keeping my secuity deposit and billed me $25. what a joke, as i said they did not even clean the palce before i moved in and they are charging me $150 for cleaning (which we did) plus another $150 for cleaning carpet (which should have been change out a long time ago). AND then another $300 for fixing walls that already had holes in them!! I covered some of them for myself while i lived there. I know i should have taken pictures before i moved in so its my bad, but Gini Lipsey could have had the common courtesy to return my calls and let me explain myself. they dont even treat you like a person, they treated me like a criminal, which i am not. I only want other customers to know the way they do business. IF YOU RENT FROM THIS COMPANY, BE SURE TO TAKE PICTURES BEFORE YOU MOVE IN. I am only 24 and had not rented many other placed before, but that is no reason for them to take advantage of me. what Gini did was not right. she should have returned my calls. I am going to pay the 20 dollars so my credit does not suffer,BUT NEW CUSTOMER BEWARE. THESE PEOPLE WILL RIP YOU OFF. By the complaints it looks like they do this to everyone.

I had been renting a house when Tom from Prudential Tropical Realty took over as managing the house for the new buyer. When I had moved out-of-state, Tom had made up a bunch of trumped up charges to justify keeping our deposit. To make matters worse, we had asked him if the new owner wanted the ramps we had for a dock out that was on the property. He replied yes and we negotiate a price of $100 that was supposed to include with our return deposit. We did not receive that either. I would stay very far away from this company.

I did not have a good phone conversation with Milly. When I called she was very rude on the phone and said that she was in a meeting and I interrupted her. She then hung up on me. Why would you answer your phone if you were in a meeting!! You are not representing yourself in a postive light nor are you representing the company very well. Contacts are your business.

I had an appointment at 11am for a house off largo terr. And I waited 25 minuets for nobody to show up! I called the office about 4 times and left a voicemail. Disappointing and unprofessional. I will not be looking for anymore houses through this company.

Horrible experience with the property management side. The lady in the front part of the office has absolutely no idea about her properties and is a liar. We will never work with this company again.

STAY AWAY! They do not take care of their properties and they rip you off with unreasonable, outlandish charges upon exit. RUN!! And if you do rent take pictures w/ date stamps of EVERYTHING!
