When I planned to sell my luxury beachfront condominium, I first contacted my trusted financial advisor. He highly recommended that I list my condo with Eric Pfeifer. His simple recommendation was, “He’s the very best realtor on Sanibel. Backstory – my condo neighbor – who had listed his own unit several months earlier – told me he really liked “Realtor X.” So, as a courtesy to this neighbor, I did talk with Realtor X. Afterwards, I called Eric, and from the beginning, I knew I was in good hands. I saw that Eric and Realtor X were as different as day and night. Eric asked a lot of questions that Realtor X did not. Eric had a specific marketing plan. Realtor X did not. Eric quickly sent me a property analysis, and then showed me just how he would uniquely market my condo. This was very important to me, since there was an identical condo in my building already for sale. Eric level of attention was over and above anything I ever expected. He kept me undated every week (or more often, when appropriate) about market changes. The biggest thing he did was to tell me when a similar unit – in a different condo development – was just listed for $100,000 less than mine. And, that unit had a newly remodeled kitchen. “What do you want to do?” Eric asked. Eric and I were a team – working together - and he asked the right questions, and gave me the information I needed to make decisions that would affect the sale of my condo. Once I got the information about the other condo that would soon be on the market, I asked Eric, “What if I drop my price by $200,000?” “You’ll sell the property within three weeks,” Eric said. “Let’s do it.” I said. The condo sold two weeks later. The unit that was listed with Realtor X did not sell for many months afterwards, and was eventually taken off the market for a while. Eric did what every real estate owner wants – he gave me all the possible information I needed to get my property sold – and he worked with me to get it sold. Now, every chance I get, I tell people what my financial advisor told me several years ago, “Eric Pfeifer is the very best realtor on Sanibel.”

Eric & the Pfeifer team listed (& sold :)) our home on Sanibel and our experience with them was fantastic from start to finish. Some highlights: 1) Their marketing is second to none. They have been on the cutting edge for years in identifying innovative & highly effective tools for marketing properties (side note: we still have a copy of the awesome brochure they created for our home -- its a great keepsake for a home that holds such special memories!) 2) Having a home on the market is tough -- especially when I was working at home full-time w/ conference calls, etc. Eric was terrific at providing enough notice for showings & making sure the showings stayed on schedule. Just great communication & respect for his clients time & space. 3) Speaking of communication, Eric was great about providing feedback after showings (nothing worse than getting your home ready for a showing, making yourself/ kids scarce & then hearing nothing!) 4) Completely smooth negotiations/ closing. The bottom line -- we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell on the islands! Although our experience was on the selling end, I cant image a better resource for someone new to the islands looking to buy!
