So I am a makeup lover and Ive never been to an Ulta before and so I was really looking forward to going there. So Ive just left work, I look a hot mess, Im in sweat pants and my makeup is terrible and yeah..so I walk in and Im looking around and as soon as the "ladies" that were standing around close by gossiping about customers noticed me they literally followed me around the whole store. And it wasnt like at Sephora where you know they are watching you but from a comfortable distance..no. This was straight up tailing me and my every move. And the lady at the register was such a snotty priss it just placed the cherry on top of the worst shopping experience Ive ever had. I come to places like this to shop for make up because I love makeup and the experience of hands on shopping but I think Ill stick to the internet and occasionally Sephora! Thanks for ruining my first visit you judgemental brats.

Ive never written an online review before, but I constantly google for reviews by other people before trying a new place, so I get that they can be valuable. In this case, I was just doing a map search for the location of this store and I couldnt help but see the beginning of the post before mine. I wanted to call the store to ask if they carried an item, but after reading that review prepared myself for a frustrating/unpleasant phone encounter with the staff. I was SO WRONG to do this. I called-- at 7pm on a Friday evening 11 days before Christmas-- and asked Jessica, the lady who answered, if they carry the item in-store. Right away she said, "Yes, let me make sure we have it in stock," then was quickly back on the line asking me which of the two sizes I would like because shed keep one behind the counter for me. The service was outstanding this evening.

Pros: They have a large selection of products and services Cons: The associates in the salon complained about customers, in front of customers! The restroom was out of toilet paper. The restroom had no trash bin. I mentioned that to a manager and she gave an excuse regarding the restroom maintenance schedule, and gave no apology and no solution. She continued working the register, allowing the next poor soul to have the same restroom experience. Very disappointing.

I just visited Ulta Beauty for the first time. Im a very natural person. So I had no idea what to get. But a beautiful young girl came right over to me and help me through everything. And gave me a beautiful natural look that I love. I left with everything she suggested. Looking forward to looking my best for my vacation.

Staff ignores me anytime I walk in. If asked for help, the staff rush through it and go back to stocking. Even during checkout employees are rude. Ill stick to target for drugstore and Sephora for high end, ULTA just isnt worth the hassle. 2 stars for great selection.

Really horrible customer service, seems like the employees care more about what happened on their weekends than the customers. Its the closest Ulta store near me sooo I dont really have a choice unless I want to take a mini-road trip, anyway Ill just order offline :(

Ive only been in there 2X but both times were busy. The staff is diverse, charming, and helpful. Thats important, and worth paying a little extra for. I hope the company pays a higher wage than competitors, because the ladies at Ulta invest more in their work.

This is one of the better Ulta locations available to us in Sarasota. The store is well organized, and they always have staff around. Last time I was there, I had my brows done by Meredith. She was wonderful, and helped me get exactly what I was looking for.

Toy store for women. Mia was very helpful. She helped me pick out the right color Foundation and help me find the right brush. She answered all of my questions. They offer hair services, have a brow bar, and beauty and facial services.

The staff seems to keep a positive attitude on the floor and Im always greeted. Their inventory of drug store priced makeup goes quickly, however. I really love Makeup Revolution brand, and its never fully stocked or merchandised well.

Exchanged a defective deodorant stick - the plastic winding knob to extend the deodorant up broke - and they swapped it without a problem. It was from Christmas and they exchanged it 5 months later. Awesome customer service.

The store is fine but the staff ....nonononono. They were rude and not helpful at all. They kept chatting with each other all the time, when I ask for help they said that they cant help me with anything. Worst service ever .

Will not price match their own website, and Shaniqua, was rude, and didnt make me feel valued, but more of a bother. Was expecting much higher level of customer service. Will never shop here again.
