As a Young Man I spent a lot of time fixing my vehicles changing Motors, Transmissions, rear end and whatnot. As a grown up I have shied away from mechanic work but I know what it entails. I took my truck to have the water pump change and Daytona quoted me a price of $340 which I thought was high but I needed the job done. When I came to pick my truck up they gave me a new bill for $457. The Manager said it was to cover additional cost such as antifreeze and a thermostat which is typically included in a water pump change out. I would advise anybody was not very familiar with auto mechanics to tread lightly with this vendor. I hope they are happy with the extra money they received from the overpriced water pump installation bill in the first place to the extra $100 they charge me.
