I am very dishearten with my experience with the Beggins Century 21 agents. Before I was referred to Michael Hale, the first agent (Dustin Lanser) never responded to my emails. So I called the office and spoke with Donna Marie Bartoli she referred me to Michael based on the location and area I was looking for. I live in Washington, DC and I was making plans to come to Tampa to take a look at several properties in the Tampa area specifically, near McDill AFB. Since January 21, over a month before my arrival date, I sent emails to Mr. Hale informing him what I was looking of and when I would be available to look at properties. I wanted to use the entire day to see what was available, given I traveled over 1,000 miles away. He set the property listings to automatically provide me updates on what was available in the area based on my location and price selection. Unfortunately, I wasnt very keen with what I was being provided. A week before my arrival, I checked Zillow and saw many properties that I liked based on the zip code of the location in Tampa that I was looking for. I made a spreadsheet of the ones on Zillow I wanted to see as well as the ones he provided. Additionally in my email to him, I had a list of questions that I wanted to agent to address during our visit that Saturday. On Thursday afternoon, I was awaiting to hear back from Mr. Hale to make sure our time was confirmed. We spoke on the phone and he said he was going to allow his mother, who was supposed to be his associate to assist me with the visits because he have an open house scheduled that day already. At that moment I was taken because; 1. I had been working with him for over a month and he never mentioned in any correspondence that he was working with anyone else or that I was going to be taking by anyone else to look at any other properties 2. I have already been handed off twice before 3. If I scheduled to come to Tampa over a month ago, by plane to look at houses why does he have another venue to go to? After finally meeting up, I was NOT greeted as if I was taken seriously. No, "How was your trip?", " We are so glad you are here", --- no nothing just immediately lets go . It wasnt until we were standing at the door at the office that I was asking, "whats the plan?", " Why are we not seeing the houses I sent on Zillow (which were idea for me)?" -- it was very rushed, very disconnecting with the client, and an overall bad taste in my mouth. I had to ask for copies of the listings that we were going to see. (Realtors in my past (Long and Foster), had a packet prepared for me before we began our visits) We went to the first house, I was asking questions and he didnt have answers. Just nothing. At the second house, there was a family living in it --- there was a BIG confederate “Dixie” flag hanging from the truck and I was VERY uncomfortable entering the house... Having southern roots, I know what that flag stand for. He and his mother insisted I come in. The house was not ready for show. The other houses were a total flop and most (if not all) of my questions were not answered or followed up. My experience was VERY horrible. By the way I called the office the next business day, to discuss this experience with their leadership BEFORE I put this on line but no one has called, So I will provide future clients a summary of my experience. I am taking my time and money to a different realtor. Additionally, I will inform those who I interact with daily, such as incoming military personal looking for a home who come into that area looking for housing NOT to use that realtor company.

This was hands down the WORST experience Ive ever had with a realtor. I listed my Bayshore condo and thought everything was going fine till I came home after the agents open house to missing cash, moved artwork and dog pee on the floor. After reviewing my security footage I found that the agent had no idea who was where and was using the event to promote his business to my neighbors if they ever sold by allowing them to freely snoop through my home with no checks. When we finally got to closing the closing agent they used seemed to be holding the papers tightly as I signed. It was only after the fact and when the money never came that I found out what I was told was the closing date was not and i had handed over my home to the agent without the buyer securing funding to close when I was told we were. Dont walk away from this agency RUN!!!!!

To me knowledge about a clients needs and absolute professionalism are the benchmarks I look for in an agent. I have always found the agents from this office to exceed those criteria.
