This firm is the worst in St. Pete. My wife and I put an offer on a home at full asking price plus $1,000 over any other offer. They took an offer from buyers from their own firm. When that deal fell through they called us and said we were the #2 offer so now it was our if we wanted it. We said yes we wantee it and proceeded on the realtors words. Scheduled inspection, appraisal, etc. Meanwhile, they proceeded to accept another offer. Then had the audacity to come to us wanting $6,000 more dollars to get the home. Ignoring the concersation from that same morning. Once again, the new offer represented by an agent in this same firm. We agreed despite feeling it was unfair. Finally the deal crashed after learning they did not disclose known home problems including a broken pool heater at $3,000. But the final straw was when they demanded we allow the seller to live in the home for two months rent free. Beware! These people hold back information until you commit money to the deal. I am now out money for the appraisal and hours of wasted time and emotion. I learned too late that this is their reputation.

I just received a called from them asking me if I would put my house on the market with them. They had my cell phone number which is not public record and I have never had any kind of business or personal relationship with this company. I will be reporting this. The National Association of Realtors states that Realtors cannot call people who are on the Do Not Call registry to entice them to sell their properties or buy a home. They also must not call the phone numbers of people with expired listings, if the person is on the Do Not Call registry and the Realtor has not had a prior relationship with this person There are a few exemptions to the Do Not Call rules for telemarketers and Realtors. The National Association of Realtors states that Realtors may call consumers that they have had an existing business relationship with, such as previous clients. Realtors may also call anyone on the Do Not Call list if they have obtained prior written permission to cal

This company is full of people who only take multi-millionaires seriously - so if you are one of them then feel free to deal with a bunch of people faking being your friend. I was trying to rent a home they had listed and got no service what-so-ever except thaty they gladly took the deposit check when I drove there to deliver it. Ironically they did not know what to do with it as I later discovered, but they still took it. Once I moved in I found that thier care of the home was nonexistant in the year it was on the market. 75% of the bulbs were burnt out and plumbing had been leaking in a few areas for months (busted pipes, leaky toilets etc). When I move out I hope the owner never deals with them again - the only reason I closed on the deal was becasue I enlisted the help of another realtor from another company!

If there was a choice of Quality that had the option "very poor", I would have checked it. I am not familiar with Smith and Associates overall-as a business- However I want to warn anyone who is contemplating working with an "agent" named Mark Paris....turn around, and run, and dont look back! I found him initially charming and friendly, but very soon after his true colors were revealed. The only interest that Mark Paris has is in Mark Paris!!! I felt misled, lied to and ultimately had an extremely disappointing experience- ALL due to his deceit! He is the prime example of "A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing"- I will bring my million dollar plus house business elsewhere, whether I am buying OR selling in the future and I will strongly suggest my friends and associates do the same! Shame on you Mr. Paris!

I cant recommend Isabel Caruso highly enough. She is professional, efficient, and courteous, and in a highly difficult real estate market, she stood out as someone who could get the job done. Phone calls were always returned, she made sure we were up to speed with every development, and worked tirelessly to help us to sell our house. She has integrity, and we felt at all times we were represented by a friend. Our home had been on the market for four years before we came to Isabel, and she was the first person to ever make us feel she was in our corner. Within weeks of taking our property on, she brought us several offers, and no-one could have worked harder to make sure we walked away from the deal happy. I would recommend Isabel in a heartbeat.

We could not have asked for a better real estate agent than Rick Miller! Not only did he go above and beyond to find us what we were looking for, but he is a genuinely nice, caring person. We hit a few bumps in our search and he walked us through each thing. He helped us narrow down neighborhoods, work through what we wanted from a home, and did so with honesty and patience. Rick answered every question, walked us through every step, and referred us to the very best inspectors in the industry. He never pressured us, always was available to talk, and went above and beyond in every way possible. I would not only recommend Rick, I would urge anyone looking for a house in the Tampa area to use his services. Thank you, Rick.

As a first time home-buyer, I was somewhat nervous about the process. Our agent with Smith & Associates, Isabel Caruso, was amazing. She made sure we fully understood the whole process and was constantly giving us updates along the way. She was also great at looking out for our best interest while looking at properties and when we were ready to make an offer, she helped us negotiate a great deal! We also used their in house Mortgage Team for our financing, and had just as great an experience with them. I would recommend Isabel to anyone looking for a Agent to represent them. Steve and Amanda are also a great team to work with for financing.

Smith and Associates is a great company to work with in South Tampa. I have bought and sold with the Lux team three times and each time is better than the last. They make the craziness of buying and selling seem easy, and they truly are dedicated. Julie, Becky, and Dena are all joys to work with and I would never dream of going to anyone else for my real estate needs. They were very thorough in the paperwork, they protected my familys interests, and represented us with zeal on every occasion! We would not have snagged the house we own today without these ladies, and I am truly grateful. You wont be disappointed if you list with them!

My family recently relocated to Tampa from abroad and couldnt have navigated through the process without the dedication, smart advice and experience of Carol Garner and Krista Maddox. From the very beginning, they made us a priority and took the time to fully understand our needs. Knowing our geographic and time constraints, they did an amazing job not only educating us on the S. Tampa area and showing us properties that fit our needs but going above and beyond protecting our best interests through the negotiation, inspection and final closing process. Whether you are looking to buy or sell, you are in great hands with this team!
