If I could give less than one star rating, I would. I purchased a home in Dec 2009 through Tropical Shores Realty in Spring Hill..The listing said "just bring your horses".. When purchasing the home we went through all of the proper channels. Home inspection, title co. ect. Our mistake was using their inspector that they recommended.. After the inspection we were given a list of things that the house needed and told it would be $12k to fix..We liked the house and location so we excepted. During the agents whole sales pitch we were told that we divide the land, and all kinds of other things that were not true..After we buy the home, we go to get the power on and the electric co tells us we need to talk to the county..We go up to the county building and they tell us that the home we just bought three days prior was condemned three years before we bought it and had to be tore down, it was accuring fees for every day that it stood on the property and we now owned it so we were responsible for these fees..The home had been seized because it was a drug house and the home was built without any permits...We went back to the agents and to the title company and they tell us theyre is nothing they can do..They knew we were in a very bad situation, that we had just lost a child and needed a home and piece and quite and they took advantage of us to the fullest..I ask them to resell it and they tried to charge me double their fees because it had a condemned home on it.? This place has caused us to go bankrupt. We are stuck with a place we cant even get a portion of our money back on..The 12k we were quoted was the amount we had to pay in fines and fees plus the cost of having to tare the house down. Over $100k spent after purchasing this home...a lot different than $12k to fix it...Tropical Shores turned a nightmare into a worse nightmare..We are now broke and living in a shack on top of our loss and all we wanted/needed was some quite and all we got was more stress and heartache. I dont know how they sleep at night taking advantage of people like they did my family..

We totally lucked out when Mark and I chose Jennifer Harper from Tropic Shores to work with to purchase our dream waterfront home. She worked tirelessly to find us this special paradise and handled the purchase process with extreme professionalism. We highly recommend Jennifer and Tropic Shores Realty. By the way, we were still living in New York during the purchase, Jennifer arranged for every inspection, etc. No doubt she went the extra mile and then some. When we drove straight through ny/fl to our new home Jenn even left us a homemade hot meal! Best meal ever and so appreciated after 21 hours on the road. Wow - right. Ten star. First she was my realtor; now Im happy and very proud to call her my friend.

Jennifer Harper was absolutely amazing. We relocated from Arizona to Florida and the long distance and closings went on without a hitch. If something wasnt just right we never knew about it. She handled everything professionally and efficiently. After we moved in she still checked in. Thank goodness, she was a wealth of knowledge for finding us landscapers to a plumber. We would have been lost without us. Thank you for being a great realtor, I would recommend her to anyone.

Lack of communication from the Realtor she would only contact my spouse and kept wanting to do extension because of her mishaps and kept telling us " all you need was a piece of paper stating your house was in closing" not realizing that paperwork does not mean anything in the world today.
