This is an excellent gym. Its clean, patrons and staff are friendly. Theres a healthy mix of gym rats and regular Joe and Jane Schmoe types - you wont feel awkward coming in with a few lbs to drop, or feel embarrassed for starting at the bottom of the heap. Thats a big deal. The only caveat Id like to mention is that, as far as the $10~/month fee, when you cancel, youll be billed either immediately or at next cycle, for the remainder of the annual fee. For example, I canceled after a few months due to an upcoming move, and the cost to cancel my membership was nearly $50 - in addition to the monthly fee and activation fee (IIRC) billed at time of enrollment. All told, then, for the total span of my enrollment I ended up paying (on an approximate, divided per month basis) closer to $40/month. Still, not bad and very much in keeping with area standards (a bit cheaper than the nearby YMCA for example, but then theres no Olympic pool or basketball courts either; but theres also not a bunch of irritating kiddies during daylight hours so maybe it zeroes out?). Just commenting as a general observation for those like myself who didnt pore over the fine print, that the $10/month isnt really $10/month. Its more like a cell phone contract than a gym membership, and that tainted my impression of the business operation somewhat. Id have preferred to pay the extra money up front and skip the underhanded advertising blitz altogether. That being said--it is a nice, new, clean gym, staffed and patronized by pretty nice folks. Whether or not you want to join knowing the above is a decision that only you can make. Happy lifting!

Ive been a member here since this gym opened , for the most part staff is very friendly GM Justyn and asst manager oasin have always been helpful. Ive never been treated with such disrespect by any one like I did today by personal trainer Paul and trainer manager Bob Lidel. After failing deadlift I was bombarded with names from trainer Paul telling me my 20$ membership means nothing and that I have to leave for the day, not even being able to explain myself I found that my stuff was being escorted out the gym by bob lidel. After explaining what happened to GM Justyn and him listening to my story he told me I can stay and finish working out. After seeing I was allowed to stay bob and Paul started to drop f bombs at me to leave the gym and starting a scene in the middle of the gym. At one point bob even said its either me or him that has to leave, after telling them I want no problem and proceeding to the other side of the gym to finish my work out trainer Paul lays his hands on me and tells me I need to leave even after the GM told my I could stay. No employee should ever touch a paying customer or a belittle them in the gym like that. After me and Justyn talked it was decided it was better if I left for the day. On my way out Paul kept belittling me and threatening me. Once I got home I was called and informed my membership got canceled because I threatened an employee who layed his hands on me. If youre a paying customer who wants to be treated with respect dont ever come here.

For those people that say theyll rip you off: 1. Its 10-30$ a month depending on your package, cheap compared to 90% of gyms in area 2. Every gym is a waste of money if you dont use it. If you use it then never a waste Pros: Kept fairly clean. Good quality equipment. Variety of exercise including box jump platforms, monkey bats, Jacobs ladder, sled push w/track, battle ropes, plenty of squat rack stations. Good locker rooms with saunas and showers as well. Members seem to have good gym etiquette for most part. Good number and variety of cardio equipment(stairmsster, elliptical, etc..) Cons: Can get super busy during high traffic times. You may find yourself waiting frequently for machines or even a dumbbell. Trainers will float and interrupt workouts seeing if you want to set up personal training. Equipment is generally in good repair, but when damaged tends to stay damaged a long time. Limited number of cable machines. Even though there are a good number of squat stations, they tend to get taken quickly and dominated far too long by people doing multiple exercises. It can sometimes be impossible to get a quick workout in when its busy. Overall solid gym with flaws similar to many chain gyms. I generally come midday so my experiences may differ from those coming at peak traffic hours. I would definitely say take a look during your desired workout time before committing to make sure its good for your schedule

Starting off everything was great. The staff was on point and I was happy with the membership. The problems started when I needed to cancel (moving away). I give them a call and they tell me I have to come in and sign to cancel. Its bad enough that they make it inconvenient, which goes to show you the customer isnt the priority, but they tell me to do it before the end of the month. I go out of town for Memorial Day weekend and come in Tuesday 5/31 to cancel. Thats when they tell me that they need a 5 day notice and that theyll be billing me for a month that I cant even use. They didnt bother mentioning that I wouldve had to come in the day that I called if I wanted to save my money. These people care about one thing - getting as much money out of you as they can while they can. Heres the kicker - you have to pay them in order to cancel. So if you cant theyll keep billing you - thankfully I paid them and Ill never have to deal with this scum outside of leaving negative reviews on every possible venue. Think about what kind of business you want to deal with and ask yourself if Crunch sounds like that type of business. My guess is that the gym is going down hill and they need to scrape money off of people to stay afloat.

I am confused by these reviews. I have not used a shower, so I cannot speak to the water temperature, but I have not experienced this location being fithy. I cancelled my membership rather easily. I was interested in the fitness classes, but the times didnt align with my schedule last year. As someone who is originally from out of state, I didnt experience the social environment that I was hoping for, so it is really surprising to see that there are comments regarding the socialization even between staff members exclusively. I didnt experience that at all. I used a free session with a personal trainer. I felt like they were trying to upgrade service/ membership or enroll me into a program rather than help me loss weight or met fitness goals. I dont plan to go back because they benefits I was seeking of being more social and fitnesses classes werent to my expectations. The manager did offer to have a conversation with me when I filled out a survey, but my mind was already made up about leaving.

Overall its a good gym with classes, weight stations, GREAT plyo/turf area, sauna and open til 11pm. IT IS VERY BUSY from 5pm so be aware that its tough to get a good workout at that time. They market as a $10 gym so dont expect Country Club service cuz you wont get it. Usually some kids at the desk who really dont care at all. I left LA Fitness down the street to join here and am very pleased with my choice. I love that they had a kid going around wiping down equipment and they have wet wipes to wipe down equipment. (That was one of my biggest gripes at LAF, paying double price and never saw anyone wiping down, with useless soap like dispensers while always being out of paper towel, toilet paper & soap in bathrooms) I asked lots of questions at joining regarding "hidden fees" and all my questions were answered to my satisfaction.
