Victory Martial Arts has truly become the center of Apollo Beach. The academy offers a wide array of classes, from the very basics of martial arts, through to all manner of weapons and techniques. It really is the epitome of discipline and learning. The childrens classes, Lil Dragons are absolutely amazing and truly highlight Sensei Phils amazing ability at engaging and enthusing children as young as three to become totally dedicated and committed to martial arts. The childrens classes combine karate moves with self defense (how to escape from strangers attacking them and what they should do) as well as playing games that encourage children to fully emerse themselves in physical activity to benefit health. In addition to the classes, there is an excellent after school program me, allowing parents to feel totally secure in their childs care during their work hours. The after school care program which includes karate training. Further, there are amazing camps during school breaks where kids are cared for, trained and entertained. Victory also creates awesome entertainment for special occasions like Halloween, where the dojo is turned into a scary haven for the scare seekers including craft activities for children. It is a great place to train and meet friends … and for those fitness buffs that want to go that extra step, they can join the Victory Martial Arts team that runs the Savage Race annually … and even run with the bulls in the new challenge for 2014. The dojo has a small merchandise area where you can purchase a variety of clothing and training gear ….. gloves, tees, training weapons, protective wear, etc. Victory is truly the very center of this small town .. bringing people together while gaining new skills and improving physical well being. Highly recommended !!!

My family and I have been training together for several years at Victory Martial Arts. They offer many different classes that accommodate every desire of those who want to learn martial arts: various weapons classes, Adults only classes, classes where adults can train with their children, and even a cardio workout class called "Fighting Fit". The staff are very friendly and professional. What I like most about Victory is their commitment to excellence. They go above and beyond what other schools do as far as safety for their students. My children attend their After School Program. They pick my children up from school and take them back to the dojo, where my kids have time to do their homework and take their martial arts class. It is the only After School Program that I trust with my children with. They genuinely want their students to experience the joy of martial arts; the wonder at being able to execute a kick that you couldnt do before, the pride of being able to perform your kata, and the comraderie of friendships forged from common interest. This is a top of the line martial arts school, of which there is no equal in Hillsborough county. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is interested in triaining or having their kids train in martial arts.

This a place that I can go and be proud to say so. The "Dojo" is very impressive. I was awed at the cleanliness, professionalism, and friendliness of the facility, staff and students. From the very 1st step in the studio, I was greeted with a warm smile by friendly and courteous staff member. The instructor was one of the most humble person Ive ever met. My daughter Kaylee, who is normally shy, warmed up to Sensei Phil within minutes. Not only are the instructors great with kids, but when I watched the adult classes, I was impressed with the knowledge and skill that Sensei Phil demonstrated. Having 25 years of martial arts experience, I can spot the key marks of a great instructor. Whether youre looking for classes for yourself, your child a loved one or friend, Victory Martial Arts Academy has it all. Weapons, MMA, Karate, Ju-jitsu, fitness, its all under one roof. I highly recommend it!

A family-run business that truly focuses on the family. The owners, their children, their instructors and their staff care about you in way that is a reflection of their true character. They always take their time to show their students the correct way to master their skills, and strive to help them achieve their goals in advancing. My boys have been students here for several years now, and we absolutely love it. Weve had two birthdays parties at this dojo with kids ranging in age from 4 - 16, and EVERYone had a great time. They are an active member of the community and do a lot with the local schools in the area. They do camps during the school breaks, parent night out events, Halloween parties, Christmas parties, special weapons classes, yoga - they are Martial Arts and so much more!!!

I visited 3 Martial Arts Dojos is our area for our Cub Scout pack 3 yrs ago, eventually decided on Victory Martial Arts in Apollo Beach, FL. We started working w/ Sensei Phil originally as "an after school activity" for my boys, which soon became a family activity on a daily basis. VMA teaches you self control & self defense just to name a few. He makes it enjoyable for the kids, actually the entire family. Sensei Phil & AM, owners of VMA, are productive members of our community helping everyone who walks in the Dojo. They have been a GREAT Support for my family. We love attending Victory as it has been a great place for my 4.5 year old daughter. My daughter loves each and every class she attends as they are very well structured and teach multiple skills that will be of value throughout her life and she always has fun. The amount of passion and love that goes into each class, as well as Child by Sensei Phil and Adam is unprecedented. if you want your child to learn the values of working hard to achieve your goals and become a better person with life long skills, self worth, respectful of self and others, strong and confident this is the place for you. Victory Martial Arts is an "Awesome" dojo. If you are looking for a place in the Apollo Beach area, drop by or watch or try out a class. Sensei Phil and all the other instructors are engaging and keep it interesting as you train Freestyle Tai-Jitsu. The entire dojo, staff and students, provide a positive encouraging atmosphere and genuinely care. They have a unique way of presenting Tai-Jitsu and it really keeps you interested. The schedule is good too with beginner, all ranks, high rank, and adult only classes; there are also weapons, sparring and other special classes. For those looking for it they also have a fitness program, a little dragons (3-6yrs), summer camp, and after-school program.

This is an AMAZING place. I started taking classes here at age 49. Many may state that starting Martial Arts training at 49 is crazy, but I have seen increases in flexibility, strength, and fantastic weight loss. If you are looking for a way to feel young, this is the place that will give you energy and vitality. I am very happy I went to check it out. It is becoming a very big part of my health and wellness program. They even give everyone a week of free classes to check it out...once I tried it I was hooked. The owners are wonderful people and the Sensei is tough but fair and understanding. Be willing to give your all to your training and your training will give it all to you.
