BEST GYM IN HENDERSONVILLE!!! Hands down The PumpHouse is the best gym in the Hendersonville area! The staff is friendly and the environment is inviting. This gym is not intimidating to first time gym visitors but has plenty of offer even the fittest of fit, even for those preparing for a bodybuilding competition. (And youll see plenty of both of these people when you walk in.) Brenda, the owner, truly cares for each and everyone who walks through that gym door so much so that she has devoted the last several years to biggest loser classes to help people learn to get healthy. As far as these bad reviews, Im shocked! These are probably the only 3 people who have had a bad experience at this gym since Ive been a member, which will be 4 years. The contract is like any other gym Ive ever attended, people should read it before signing it if that is a concern. If youre looking for a gym that you will absolutely love going to then this is the gym for you!

The facility is great with new and innovative equipment. Brenda (owner) is an amazing person who is extremely friendly and encouraging. The only reason why I rated it a 3 is because one of the long time staff members. This individual seems to have a false sense of superiority and a off putting personality. Apparently this individual automatically assumes that a member is trying to skip out of payments when in actuality it was simply a clerical oversight. Good business practice, not to mention common decency, would be to listen to the persons inquiry and if they are found to be mistaken the representative should politely explain the misunderstanding.

This might be the worst place I HAVE EVER EVER EVER worked out in my life. The leg machine was backwards when I started in October and I got in an argument when I tried to explain this to the staff! I was wrong they were right...ummm NO THE MACHINE WAS BACKWARDS Today: I stop by after only having used the gym about 5 times in 6 months! I went to Fight Nation and Sycamore Cycles instead! I was told I had to have a piece of mail stating I moved 50miles away. Hendersonville to Charlotte is MORE than 50miles! So I suggested I fax them a piece of mail that showed my new address apparently MAPQUEST and FAX MACHINES are BEYOND THESE THUGS!

They keep drafting money out of our account even though we are not on contract anymore and went in and signed a cancellation notice. We didnt want to cancel forever just enough time to get through Christmas and the slow winter at my boyfriends job. We called them begging for them to do the right thing and put the money back in, since it was for presents for my family. They wouldnt and said "do what you got to do" when I told them they fraudulently kept taking money out. Please dont give them your credit card information. There are better run businesses out there. Great gym. Completely unprofessional and you cant trust them.

We wanted to cancel, our contract was up, and we were told we had to cancel before a specific day. We arrived the day before the cut off for being charged again, and were told that wed still have to pay another month! They wouldnt even give us a copy of the cancelled contract! Sad, its a great gym, and great people...unless you no longer wish to go there, and what couple wouldnt want to leave when you can save $30 a month at a newly opened gym? I sure hope they dont try to keep charging me, its a sad situation when you need a lawyer to get people to stop drafting money from your account!

This is the best gym Ive ever been in, and Ive lived a lot of places. It is extremely CLEAN - and staff is very nice and helpful. The owner, Brenda, is wonderful! So bubbly and outgoing and cares about every member. Great, current equipment - they have every machine, cardio and/or weights anyone could want. Awesome classes too. I am SHOCKED at any bad review THE PUMPHOUSE could get - in my opinion - those reviews are completely false and malicious! I would recommend this gym to anyone - any shape, size, or age - all will feel comfortable and welcome!

It has every thing from arobics to weightlifting to crossfit. Its for anyone if you trying to build muscle loose weight whatever it is you can accomplish it here. All age groups go to this gym and the people here are so nice. Definitely the best gym in hendersonville.

Super friendly staff and very clean rooms and equipment. Every time Im here it seems theres always at least one person cleaning. Theres a smoothie bar, saunas, showers and bathrooms, and a wide variety of machines and classes.
