I see a lot of reviews saying that they dont care about their members and what not but then again its a lot of people who dont speak up. The staff arent mind readers. If you dont inform them and point out the person on their cell phone of course theyre not going to do anything about it because there is nothing they can do unless you identify that person so they can speak to them. And same thing with the people making noise. If you have a problem with a certain person, Go to the desk and POINT THE INDIVIDUAL OUT. Every person I had a problem with I pointed them out and the staff immediately took care of it. Its not the front desks fault. They arent babysitters, they cant monitor every individual that walks in. And as for the contracts you can choose what membership you want they do not force you. They let you know about the contracts BEFORE you sign up. And after the contract is up you can cancel without having to pay a $60 fee but you still get billed month to month because its a membership not just a one year membership. Until YOU CANCEL youre still going to get billed. And there is even a membership without one sooo... And for those who are mad because they get billed even when they dont go to the gym are ridiculous. Thats like going on vacation then coming home and telling the cable guy "Hey so I wasnt home for a few weeks so I didnt use my TV so I need that money back" NO. They are month to month billing doesnt matter if you use it or not. And besides whats the point of having a GYM membership if youre not going to use it then complain about getting billed because you dont use it. Ive been going to this gym for a while now and Ive never had a problem. The staff are always friendly, caring to the customers needs and are always making sure the gym is clean. And with memberships, ASK QUESTIONS. When I signed up I made sure I knew what I was signing up for and since then I dont regret anything.

Im not picky guy quite simple in fact , but my first day at the gym it was utterly disgusting, there was paper towels everywhere including the floor, water bottles on the floor. I myself work at a gym and one of the things that were intois high on is cleanliness. Just today when I walked in at 2 oclock in the afternoon it was a male character with long hair and a jacket and instead of saying you know good afternoon or hello he just handed me the scanner and he was on his phone the same time he never even looked up at me and you know greeted me. That to me is probably one of the poorest excuses for customer service 101. Honestly the list goes on but Im not here to complain the only thing that I would say is that if youre going to have people coming through your door you need to say hello or have a good day not no text on your phone or play on the computer while youre at the front desk. Im not one to tell or go above anyones head but you know I feel like if I experience that again I definitely will email corporate. Im pretty sure they dont want to know that their employees are too busy on their phones rather than you know checking the person in or greeting them saying hello giving them a great customer experience even a little good customer experience.

I would like to know the purpose of having a locker room full of lockers if you dont permit members to use them overnight. Many people such as myself make the commute to work, and would rather not pack my toiletries every day - ideally, I would like to use a locker to store those items....you know, because thats what a locker is for - to store stuff you dont want to take home and bring back every day. The new sign states that you will begin "cutting locks off for safety reasons". As far as customer service goes - horrible approach. I think instead of cutting locks off of lockers, you should spend your time cleaning the disgusting AC vents and shower drains that continuously back up in the mens locker room. In my opinion, that poses more of a "safety concern" than a paying customer locking up their personal items. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you will reconsider your stance on locker policy.

Filthy .. Dirty worn and beat up equipment . nobody wipes any of it down. As soon as you walk in you have to hold your breathe, it stinks like the whole gym uses one jock strap. Want diseases go here, otherwise pretty much any gym west of here is in pristineand well taken care of condition. Not to mention there are locks on all of the lockers for a reason, where the other gyms are not exactly necessary. I mean lock your stuff up regardless but the demographic of it is you absolutely have to use locksat this loccation. Think you can handle all of that and just shower after to get all the grime off you. Think again, the showers are nastier than the gym floor

We get 1 hr lunch break and generally like to do the 30 min circuit with 15 min aerobic. But its impossible to finish it in 30 mins, cuz folks just come in there to text/chat on their phones and would hog the machine for way more than 90 seconds you are supposed to be on it. Also folks just pop in an out to use just 1/2 machines they want to use. Told the front desk about a month ago. They did nothing. Today we cancelled. And they could care less. On the +ve note, you cant expect much more for $10/month. Also the showers have hot water and good pressure. So 1 star each for those.

My experience here is up and down. This is gym is a little larger than the one I used to frequent in Ohio before I moved. They have some extra equipment that the one in Ohio didnt have. The people at this gym are lazy. They dont maintain the equipment at all. They dont encourage or even wipe the equipment down themselves. They dont encourage or even rerack and organize the weights either. It started to frustrate me to the point where I canceled my membership. I will be looking elsewhere to maintain and build my fitness. I need a proper bench press and squat machine anyway.

This is an OUTSTANDING gym. This gym has EVERYTHING you need to build your physique/figure. It has all the equipment, the staff are friendly no matter who is working up front. For the most part it is clean. The members are courteous and clean. I have lived ALL over the country and quite frankly for the money this IS THE BEST GYM THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN IN!!! The only draw back is that it can get packed and some of the members are clowns and do not put the free weights back, but other than that it is a GREAT place to workout. I am a bodybuilder and LOVE this gym. DENNY TATE

Overall great gym: clean, well maintained equipment, and a good "get workout in and then out and on with your life" type of gym with the rates that match. One key differentiation from other gyms is the "No Gymtimidation" mantra so patrons do not need to endure the "lunk" meat-heads grunting and throwing their weights around or the "hot bod" chicks who seemingly need to prove that they are women. The staff at this location can stand to be a little more liberal with the "Lunk alarm" at times, but its more a passing annoyance than a real problem. Highly recommended.
