My husband and I hired Olympia Catering for our wedding this past April 2010 for our wedding in Sarasota FL. We interviewed and did tastings with several caters in the Tampa Bay area. We found that a lot of caters had very beautiful presentation but that their food was very bland tasting... this was NOT the case with Olympia. THEY WERE THE WHOLE PACKAGE AND THEIR PRICES ARE REASONABLE!! After our tasting we did not continuing looking any further, we knew they were the right caters for our wedding. We chose the Signature chicken which is delicious beyond words and paired it will the Dill Salmon, yukon potates (yummy!!) and fresh vegetables. All of our guest raved about our sit down dinner. We even custom designed our passed hors dourves, and Olympia made appetizers that we suggested that were not on their choice menu. My wedding cake was made for free by their bakery and was so beautifully decorated to match our theme, we had vanilla cake with raspberry lemon filling and buttercream icing, it was mouth watering!! Sherri was our event planner and was amazing, she did not miss a beat!! Any bride that is appointed Sherri should consider herself lucky! Your wedding will go to a TEE. Thank you everyone at Olympia, you transformed my venue beautiful, presented the food like we were at the finest NYC resturant and made it taste better than we could have ever dreamed. We will be happy to recommend you to everyone we know and meet along the way :]

LOOK NO FURTHER!!! 10 STARS!!!! We got married at the Ca’d’Zan Mansion at the Ringling Museum, and I could not have chosen a better caterer for my wedding!! Taryn was absolutely FABULOUS!! From the food, the linens, to the wedding day timeline, she made the whole planning process a breeze. She was very prompt, patient, flexible, and organized. She understood my theme and was able to make wonderful suggestions that added that extra touch I was looking for. She truly cares about making your day special; and her and her staff will go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly. The day of the wedding, Taryn and her staff were EXCEPTIONAL!! The ceremony and reception were set up to perfection! Once the ceremony was over, even while taking pictures they made sure the wedding party got to partake in the appetizers and drinks; and then into the reception my husband and I had our toasting glasses full and our plates already made so we had a chance to eat as soon as we sat down. The entire staff was neat, clean and organized- not once did I see a dirty plate left on the table. This company’s standards are TOP NOTCH and they present nothing but EXCELLENCE!! The food was PHENOMENAL and we continue to get compliments regarding the food even weeks after the wedding! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND OLYMPIA CATERING and will definitely use them in the future!

Good morning! My wedding was the last Sunday, and your team was working for us. I just wanna tell you guys that your food was deliciojus, the women serving the food were lovely, but it was a really bad moment when Donna decided to ask for more money in the middle of the party. I fell sad because this is new for me. she didnt talk clear in the beginning about the little letters in the contract, and perhaps she didnt was ready in the time we accorded, her argument about the money was because the ceremony started late. You should be clear and honest with the costumers from the beginning. It was really bad moment for my husband and me. Also the cake came without any decoration and I decided to do with Olympia because I thought you were responsible and professional. But no! At the last minute she put some roses in the cake although we signed in the contract another things. Weddings are the most special moment in peoples lives ,and you should do your best for your costumers. We paid for 100 plates and we just had 70 people...I didnt know what happened with the food that people didnt come. We got some but I am sure we lost a lot. I hope you be serious and honest and returned our money for the mistakes you made. At the end we paid a lot for your services and we didnt enjoy as we wish because this incidents.

Let me preface this with the fact that we didnt actually taste the food that this company has to offer. With that being said, it was clearly evident that the lady at the front desk wasnt willing to help us, and for what reason, I dont know. On their website, they have a delivery and pickup section in which if you want food catered for a smaller party, this is what seems would be the option you would go with. They clearly state on their that they do cater for smaller groups, usually a minimum of 20 people. After telling the front host we would like to cater for around 30 people for the night before our wedding, she looked at her calendar and said they couldnt accommodate 30 people. I have read the reviews on this company and it seems to me that they can handle medium to big size parties pretty handily. For whatever reason, she wasnt willing to help our party of 30. Take that for what it is worth, but I really am into customer service and a company that doesnt give you the opportunity to experience that will be something I write a review about.

We cater from them for business meetings about once a month. Our orders are not large (10-12 people), but they still treat us with full attention. Every single time, the food is phenomenal. The members of the meeting are always commenting on the variety and quality. Also, super friendly service. Ive spoken to them on the phone, email, and in person. Each time they are awesome and so accommodating!! They have saved my butt on MORE than one occasion (when I totally forgot to order ahead of time hehe). You guys seriously rock.

We had many guests traveling from New York and Boston for our wedding and our one concern was the food. Will there be enough? and Will it meet up to peoples expectations? Let me start off by saying that our guests are still talking about the food. Nancy was amazing, I seriously cant rave about her enough. She made sure to cover every detail with me and her staff took such good care of us on the day of the wedding. The food was plentiful, rich and satisfying. The cake was sinful and delightful.

The best! We were happy with the food , staff and especially Donna. Our wedding reception was a small affair held at our home. Everything had to be brought, cooked, set up and served properly. No problems - at all. Our guests kept on remarking about the delicious food and seemingly endless extra care and service of the servers. I worked in the Hotel and restaurant field for over twenty years, mainly in management, and would recommend Donna and Olympia without reservations.
