I debated with myself for a while wether to write a review of my experience at all or just to let it go as I often do. I never write reviews, good or bad. Lets face it no one really cares about your opinion or about what you want. But I decided that I would be doing an injustice to The Cheesecake Factorys investors if I kept it to myself. Im not writing this to get attention or to hurt the restaurant in any way. Actually to be honest, this is my favorite restaurant. And today was my daughters 15th birthday dinner with the family. I always order my favorite dish of all time, Pasta Da Vinci. I ate this dish countless times and know when it was prepared correctly. I informed the waiter that on one occasion the dish was a disappointment and asked that he kindly told the sheff not to disappoint me this time. I received my meal about 10 minutes after everyone at my table was eating. It was worst than I feared. The pasta looked dry and crusted as if it sat under a heat lamp, chicken was dry as can be and the mushrooms totally uncooked. I was more than upset. Manager tried to speak to me but instead addressed my father in law... I hate to complain because you get looked at as if all you want is a free meal. That is not the case, Im more than happy to pay. I want to give your restaurant one star rating but the point is not to hurt your business, instead I want to get your attention and have you do something about your staff. Perhaps the staff lacks the same motivation you have to see your business strive with success. Although you have invested plenty in to interior design and esthetics, people return for a superbly prepared meal...thats what most remember. Thats what I remember as my first experience at your restaurant years ago. The sheff is the unseen face of any restaurant, and he or she should be a master of their craft... not someone that obviously doesnt want to be there all the time. NO WAY THAT DISH SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE KITCHEN THE WAY IT WAS BROUGHT TO ME.

First of all I want to say that the service was excellent, everyone was extremely polite. Otherwise I may have given it one star. While I dont consider myself a "foodie," I do enjoy well prepared food. What I had here was not. The food arrived, lovely presentation. I had ordered a chicken pasta with a basil sauce, arugula salad and proscuitto. I am a sucker for prosciutto. Unfortunately, it was my first bite and instead of lovely delicately crispy prosciutto, it was tough (did they cook it in the oven? microwave? Heathens.) Honestly that set the foot for the whole meal. If you arent aware prosciutto is served fresh or fried, try a different cuisine style. The chicken I was served was not $16 chicken. It tasted like school cafeteria panko breaded nastiness. The pasta, while not flavorful, did not lack an abundance of olive oil. While not wholly offensive, it was lacking. And last, the arugula. Im not sure if they added lemon peels directly or lemon juice concentrate, it was very bitter, but lightened by a couple sprinkles of grated parmesan. Now this meal in no way was spectacular, nor even likeable really, but paled in comparison to how utterly actually disgusting my husbands plate was. My husband ordered a $19 chicken marsala. Must be pretty decent, right? No. His bowtie pasta (which took up the vast majority of the large platter) had so little flavor, and the flavor it did have just wasnt good. The pasta was extremely overcooked, and the mushrooms were rubbery. His chicken, while not covered in cheap panko still lacked the quality one would expect for the price. Needless to say, we did not stay for dessert. A disappointing meal.

Came here on Sunday 2/12. Very disappointed. I ordered the shrimp scampi. Food was cold & my shrimp was over cooked for my liking. Seems like there was some kind of crust on the side of it as well. Ive never had shrimp scampi with crusted shrimp. I sent it back. The waiter informed me the food would come out like that every time. As Im looking over the menu to find something different, a manager comes up & asked did I not like the food. I explained to him I did not. He offered a salad, I asked for the vegan salad, he said oh no I mean a small side salad I said oh no thanks. I djcied to stay to order something completely different bc I had already waited a while to be seated. The waiter never came back to take my order. By this time I had already been at the restaurant for at least 45 minutes. Im passed annoyed because Im hungry. I get up & I wait at the pos booth to pay for my appetizer. Waiter walked by me twice before he asked are you done, I replied yeah I am bc your service sucks. He looked surprised & said excuse me my service sucked? & I said yes it does, Im ready to go. He said hes going to get the manager. Before I could tell him I dont want to talk, I just want to pay & leave, he was already gone. I wait another 10 minutes. A different waitress was helping me pay my check by the time the manager finally came & spoke with me, (she saw I had been waiting at their booth for a while). I told the manager about my poor experience & all he did was apologize & ask me to come back in the future. Some customer service that is. This is my 2nd time visiting cheesecake factory & it will be the last.

Had never been before so we decided to try it out. Went on a Thursday so it wouldnt be too busy. Was told it was a 5 minute wait. So we put our name on the list. 20 minutes later we still werent seated and had been skipped repeatedly. I asked the girl taking the names why we were still waiting and had been skipped repeatedly. She said she wrote the name down wrong and had thought we left (even though we were sitting literally right in front of her). Finally got seated. Waiter came to take our order and asked why we werent ordering food for our 5 year old son off the kids menu. We informed him he never gave us a kids menu so we didnt even know they had one. He said he didnt give us one because he didnt know we wanted one (even though we clearly had a child with us and he had just asked why we didnt order from the kids menu). Took over 30 minutes to finally get our food. Food was disappointing. I ordered a burger well done. They brought me what appeared to be a hockey puck. My sons Mac and cheese was watered down and tasted terrible. He eats everything and has never complained at a restaurant. I tried it and understood why he wouldnt eat it. No point in telling our waiter because he was at the table maybe 4 times in the 90 minutes we were there, never once saying more than refill? or all done?. Would really like to give it another shot but it definitely wont be happening at this location.

When I pay more than $50 per person I invite to dine with me, I expect a level of service and atmosphere that (at bare minimum) meets or exceeds that which I would encounter at a restaurant where my total bill would be $50. There was no person with whom I was able to check my coat, forcing me to dine with an overcoat in my lap. Vanilla ice cream and Ralph Lauren do not go well together. The floors were extremely slippery, most likely due to the fact that our very large party was placed at the kitchens exit. When I asked the hostess who Id be able to speak to about having the floor around our table cleaned (it was covered in a hazy coat of something slippery), I was told it was the marble floor. The ladies in our party felt so unsafe walking on the floor that not one of them dared to attempt to stand or walk without the assistance of a stable-footed gentleman in non-slip shoes. The bathrooms looked like high-school locker rooms. The trash bins were overflowing onto the floor. The paper towel holders were empty. Toilets were unflushed, and there seemed to be a lake underneath the urinals. It was obvious that the bathroom had not been tended to in hours. The bottom line: The food was edible...of course, the cheesecake was amazing. The service was lacking, at best. The atmosphere was abysmal. I regret wasting my money and my guests time.
