Its Thursday, 11:30 am and were ready for lunch. When all thro the restaurant. Not a creature was stirring, not even a customer. We sat down and asked for a high chair, and to my disappointment they did not have one. So I placed my order, 1 steak sandwich, 2 stuffed potatoes, 1 Milanese Steak with a side of chicken soup and rice. Order goes in, the waitress comes back with a plate of toasted, buttered bread, I say thank you, and she disappeared into the back. She comes back and to my surprise, there are no stuffed potatoes. How could this be, now what will my baby eat? Bring back the menu so I can decide, on a childs plate of red beans and rice. No red beans she said, ok well then i guess i have no choice, bring me the black beans that I know he will not enjoy. Two big fellas find their way into a seat, and at some point my waitress brings another plate of toasted, buttered bread, she said for the baby, I said ok, I guess?. Only a few minutes go by, and when I look up the two big fellas are all ready to munch, on the same type of steak sandwich I ordered a while ago. The waitress approaches our table and looks into my eyes, your food will be right out, she gleefully adviced. We stay waiting for food, not even a sign as minutes passed by and the rest of the tables filled up, with customers that wondered in from out there in the sun. They say all stories have a happy ending, well heres mine. After 3 cups of ice water, it finally arrived. I figured I will order my baby apple juice, a choice of six juices, but the waitress surprised me one last time. Only one flavor, and it was a fruit I had never heard of. I wish everyone had a great Christmas, and have a Happy New Year! Wishes you, a customer that will never come back! December 29, 2016 PS: And I didnt even mentioned the dirty, dusty, flying insect carcass filled window sill where my table was at.

This place is AMAZING, COZY, FEEL LIKE HOME... Im from South Florida but everything we go to Tampa we have, its a most. We stop and eat here. Its home away from home... they put the heart and soul cooking. They take care of you like they know you for ever, they make you feel welcome. The coffee, auténtico café!!! No competition, no complaints here!! The price, ridiculous for the amount of food you eat! Pollo a la plancha, las masitas de cerdo

I started coming here in 1995 with my Dad & Nano when I was just 14. Now that both have passed on, I bring my wife & 2 kids here to continue the tradition. The Salgado/Orama family know how to treat customers like family. The quality of the food, coffee & customer service has always been 5 star. Its also great to see Margarita working in the kitchen still for all these years. Shes another reason for the consistency.

Que comida tan espectacular! Im American (born and raised in the US) but my father is Cuban, therefore I was raised on a lot of the Cuban culture and cuisine. Found this place on UberEats, decided to order Palomilla Steak with white rice, yuca and black beans for lunch. All of it was so delicious, and great portion for the price! Think I found a new fave restaurant and will be back for more. :-)

Love this place! Chris the owner is awesome. They are very generous with their food portions. And their food tastes great! Great to know there are still local family restaurants around. If you havent tried it you should go check it out. Its definitely worth it!

Authentic Cuban food that is consistently delicious. Great portions. This resturant was started by the parents and is now run by their son but the recipes and quality has stayed the same. Strongly recommend.

Good food!! Closest to moms cooking anywhere that i have tried. Chris runs a good place there in Fiesta Plaza. I think the food there is infinitely better than the famous and over rated La Teresita...

Very slow service, took almost 30 minutes for two sandwiches. Used to be a regular, definitely wont be back unless I have a lot of time to kill.

Never a bad meal! Cant go wrong with the roast pork plate, Cuban or breaded steak sandwich. Also grab some plantains!
