I give this a 3 stars because usually my experience is pretty good. Today, however, was a 1 star experience. I went when to get a simple 6 minute hair cut at my normal hair cuttery. I know most of the staff in there, and they all do a pretty good job. My haircut is pretty simple, so its not saying much that they do a good job; any average hair cutter could cut my hair just the way I like it from my description in just a few minutes. Except the one I had today. It was obvious to me that she was pretty new there, but I gave her a shot anyways. I told her what I wanted and she didnt seem to get it at all. My about 9 word description usually gets the job done but this particular girl wanted to go above and beyond my description and then at the end finished with a "Well I dont really get what you want but it seems like you dont either" and then sent me on my way. Surprisingly, the haircut wasnt bad, she just didnt understand how I style it and tried to make a new style for me. She was just so rude, even in the way she told me to move around "could you just like slouch down a little bit". She didnt try to make small talk, which I often dont care for anyways, but just shows again how rude and inexperienced she was. Overall, it was a pretty bad experience for $20. Most of the other girls are nice, do a good job, and send me out happy with my cut. This girl, and I didnt catch her name nor did I really care to, was simply just not ready to cut hair. Maybe at a low level $7 haircut kind of place, but I expect more form Hair Cuttery, especially at $18 and some change for the cut. My advice for when you go in: request one of the more experienced ladies and youll be happy.

Want to know if anyone else has this problem with color there. Colored my hair 7/1/17 and the color is gone already. This is permanent color I asked for. THis is the second time its happened. Loved the color and cut and style when done but now its two weeks later and $95.00 later and the color is gone. What is the Problem? It happened in June also when I got it done and thought may be thought I wanted wash out hair color. No not for the price paid.

Melissa Brooks is a beautiful soul of a person. She is warm, welcoming, and a kind stylist who took such good care of me that I literally cried when she spun me around and revealed my new look. Sometimes by fate, you meet someone and they change your entire life. That happened at the hair cuttery on garden that day. Best cut Ive ever had.

Within one day of my perm. 2/3rd of the hair at the top and front of my hair napped off at the scalp. I have huge holes and stubble that cant be repaired. I dont recommend you get a perm wave at this salon. I am now looking to buy a small round hair piece to hide my exposed scalp.

2 hairstylists working. Came in at 8:30 AM was ignored and then was told they could not do a trim because they both had 9 oclock appointments. Obviously 2 people who do not want to work. AVOID THIS SALON!!!!

I went there because my regular stylist moved, met Colleen and loved her immediately. Every time since then it has also been great and I am selective about who does my hair(lots of it).

Love this shop! The staff is friendly and professional. They dont try and sell you all kinds of product, and make sure you get the cut you want. They will have my continued business!

You have to find the stylist that is good here, not all of them are. Otherwise a great place for a low-cost haircut.
