Ive been going to Fadia for over 10 years now and she is absolutely amazing. She pays attention to detail and exceeds my expectations every time! For example, Fadia knows that I hate cutting my hair because I love my long hair but it takes forever to grow. She always reminds me that I have to cut my ends for my hair to stay healthy (and grow!). So each time Ive seen her, over that past 10 years, she always asks, how much do you want to cut this time...and I tell her how much do I need to cut? :) It is the simple things that she does that makes me feel like a valued and special customer. Even with my one inch "must trim" my hair manages to grow, shine and look great! For the first time Im over 10 years Ive colored my hair (balayage) and again, she did phenomenal! Even though I live in New York City, I always wait till I travel back to visit family and make an appointment with Fadia. Not only is she a,along at what she does, is the owner of Elysium, Fadia is such a genuinely nice person. You leave feeling like a million bucks. Highly recommend!!!

I had my hair done today by Kimberly at Elysium. I have to say she did an awesome job! My hair was a disaster and I only asked her to get it to look somewhat decent before a vacation coming up. She made it look exactly how I wanted it the last time I had my hair done but it wasnt done that way previously (at another salon). She fixed the coloring, removed all the split ends and damaged hair, conditioned it, and gave me the hair cut I wanted. She did way better and seemed to know exactly what I wanted. I didnt even think it was possible to get this kind of result with just one visit but she is clearly an expert in her field. Not only that but I had LONG hair and she managed to get everything done in a timely manner (less than 2 hours for something that has taken other places 4hrs to get done and even then without the best results) I plan to tell all my friends and I will definitely be returning to Kimberly for my next cut/color. She was very friendly and worth every penny!

What a great salon!! Raquel cut and styled my hair today and Ive never been happier with a hairstylist before!! I went in with long hair and came out with the exact cut I wanted! Sounds simple but it rarely happens!! It was such a big change for me since I cut off at least 6-8 inches but the entire staff make the whole experience so fun I didnt even want to leave! Usually I am nervous and worried when I am getting my hair cut but Raquel is such a nice person she easily put me at ease and I spent more time laughing with her and the other staff than I did worrying about how the cut would come out. Before she was even done styling the new cut, I knew I would love it. I would recommend Raquel to anyone and plan to bring my mom to the salon to have her cut and color done soon. If you are considering a new salon or sylist, GO TO RAQUEL AT ELYSIUM!! :-)

I had such a hard time finding a good hair stylist until I came accross Senovia Trinidad. She is the only person that I completely trust to cut, style, color, hi-light or perm my hair. My long hair is now healthy, and silky with the perfect color and hi-lights thanks to Senovia. She always works her magic on my hair whenever I go to the Elysium Beauty Salon on Bruce B. Downs. I always leave the salon after my hair appointment with Senovia happy, because my hair style always looks beautifully. I now get compliments on my hair everywhere I go. Before Senovia I used to hate how my hair looked. I was never happy with my hair after spending a lot of money at previous well known hair salons because my hair used to be extremely frizzy from a bad perm or from the humidity, or bad hair cuts or style, or bad color or hi-light

SO long story short... I came into the salon with a BUTCHERED cut from myself and Avon (booo)... AND CAME OUT A HAIR GODDESS thanks to the amazing Vanessa Calle!!! Honestly that girl saved my life, she is a rock star! A true beauty queen. I do not trust any hair stylist with my hair other than miss Vanessa. But I have to hand it to Elysium, their salon looks fab, theyre super nice and you know youre in good hands because everyone walking out of the salon (including the workers) have lovely hair! Thanks again to Vanessa, because I have everyone complimenting my hair now ♥ Go to her for a style change, COLOR! and just to feel like a goddess ;)

Dave is amazing! So, Im totally a Bravo viewer who has learned a thing or two from Tabatha. Every time I go to any salon, I see if 1) they are clean, 2) I am greeted by the receptionist, 3) I get a proper consultation, 4) I get a relaxing shampoo, 5) the stylist cross checks his/her work, and 6) I am pleased with the results (obv.). Dave passed all the tests :) Not to mention, he is highly entertaining and kept the conversation flowing. My search of a stylist ended after a random stop in to the salon after seeing an ad in the Advisor Magazine because of a coupon! Thanks Dave!!

I found Raquel by pure luck and I struck a goldmine! I walked in with a picture from the Internet and a very poor description of what I wanted my new haircut to look like; she worked her magic and it turned out better than I couldve imagined. She has vision and knows how to recommend the style that works best for YOU. She has a funny, bubbly personality and you will fall in love with her the second you walk through the door. I would recommend her to ANYONE who needs a haircut...whether its just a trim or a radical change.

I went to Elysium after searching the internet for a salon close to home and I couldnt be happier! I have lived in Florida for 7 years and never thought I would find a good hairstylist. I always walked out just being satisfied but not actually loving my hair. Raquel changed that for me. I LOVED the highlights and cut that she gave me, family members even commented that its the best cut ive ever had! I will definately be back. I actually had fun there and the price was half of what I was paying at the previous salon. Yay!

Vanessa Calle is the best stylist I have ever had! She is so talented at what she does and she never ceases to amaze me! I have always been very cautious when it comes to someone cutting my hair but I never have to worry with Vanessa! She really listens to what you want and brings it to life beautifully. She engages in conversation with her clients and tries to make them feel as comfortable as possible! If you want a beautiful style, cut or color go see Vanessa Calle! She will not let you down!

This was my first experience with this salon but it was WONDERFUL! The atmosphere was really nice and the place was clean. I didnt wait long at all. My stylist Dawn took her time to explain different styles and talk with me. Overall everything was neat and in its place. The pricing was very reasonable for everything that is included in the services I received. All around I was very impressed and will definitely be going back for Dawn to do my coloring and continue my cutting and styling.
