VERY DISAPPOINTED PARENTS AND CHILDREN. My kids attended this gym since 2009. It started as a recreational aftercare and they ended up on the competition team. My husband and I were always very pleased with the care in general and kids were happy, our girls loved being there. The owners are very attentive at first and we actually felt like part of the family because we spent so much time there. Problems began when the gym moved locations in 2011 or 12. The Coaches were leaving and dropping like Flies, the aftercare pick up was being done by the owners daughter in their personal car that was missing seat belts (according to the kids). The owners 17 year old daughter would sometimes drive the bus and pick up kids (dont you need a special liability license for this?)...One time the daughter was in an accident with my kids on the bus and I didnt find out until I picked them up. (unacceptable). When I called Carla the owner, she replied with "it was no big deal just a small fender bender and all is taken care of"... (seriously?) The billing system they have is, well, not a system at all. If we ever got behind a payment, they were flexible but once we were caught up...months later, they would say we owed thousands for previous months early in the year (absolutely irrational and absurd). There is no accounting and if youre not on top of things they WILL over-charge you. I honestly have to say that they did work with us when we fell through hard times, but I am also convinced now based on their actions when we left that it was all done with their invested interest in mind and nothing else. Long story short, they told us weeks before the season started in fall of 2014 that our daughter would have to be held back a level with no explanations. After 2 weeks of asking for an explanation and being ignored, 2 coaches QUIT and left so we had her evaluated at other gyms to see what level she truly was skill wise. When my husband informed them we had to make the choice to move the girls, they sent us a bill for $9,000 in fees through 2015. The bill had no breakdown of anything, and when we asked, their response was, you didnt give us 30 day notice and you took the girls to a competitor thats why we are billing you the annual fee for both. Needless to say, after 5 years of going there my husband and I were in SHOCK and extremely hurt by the owners Cold and vindictive actions. Nevertheless, we moved on, but what really hurt us was the fact that when we saw them at competitions they completely IGNORED our kids who had nothing to do with all this unnecessary drama, and also belittled our oldest daughter by criticizing her low scores and discussing it with her former teammates who came back and told her what was said the next day at school. One thing is for grown adults to act foolish and immature about a business matter with other adults, but to ignore or mistreat a child that once considered your gym HOME is plain heartless. I always say hello to their children and even them if I see them. Afterall, this is recreational gymnastics NOT THE OLYMPICS!!! but I know... and any parent who decides to leave will KNOW, our kids are nothing but a number to this family and because they never own up to their mistakes, lack of organization and unprofessionalism many are considering leaving this year, and its just so unfortunate. I just dont get business owners these days...I really dont...

I had a horrible experience with their aftercare program. My 5 year old started aftercare last August 20, 2012 and right before Labor Day Weekend (2 wks into the program) I found out through my then 5 year old that she was being transported by a coach in the owner’s personal vehicle with no car seats and “without our consent” after having been promised that a “school bus” would be used to pick up my daughter from her school to be brought to the gym. After I asked the owner in person and she confirmed that this was true, and after asking her if she had proper insurance and licenses to use her vehicle as a public vehicle to transport children and received no answer, I immediately pulled my daughter out of the program with a written note handed over to her. The date I pulled her out was the day after Labor Day which fell on Sept 4th, thus she did not attend the program the month of September. About 2 weeks ago I received a letter from a collection agency demanding $319.95 which it’s what I supposedly owe the gym for the month of September. When I called Carla, the owner, she immediately remembered me and stated it was because I didn’t give her their required “30 day notice”. Not only did she deceive us about using her own personal vehicle, but because she was caught doing it she retaliated and sent me to collections. Their website states "We Use Safe School Buses Not Passenger Vans" really, they don’t use either one. Up to this day she is not willing to withdraw the account from collections. Also, the place was overcrowded with kids of all ages mixed in one room that only had long picnic tables not making it a fun place for the kids. Parents beware, this is definetly not the place you’d like to bring your little one to.

The only intention of this review is to express my experience with Coral Reef. After my daughter (6 years old) went there for a month or so she did not wanted go back because she said they were meant. She was so frustrated to the point she did not wanted to go to any other facility at that time which surprise us because she is a person who follows direction. She has very good grades in advanced class, so she is not a trouble maker in any way. I called Coral Reef, sent an email to cancel, but because I could not cancel with a months in advance in writing they sent me to collection for $450.90. They included fees, plus insurance, plus registration. I had to make a payment otherwise they would damage my credit. I created a case with Better Business Bureau. I remember It was a time my daughter went to the training area at the right time thinking her classmate were there and a male trainer took her out in a way I did not see the reason why he did that. At that time I did not know how my daughter was feeling about Coral Reef otherwise, I would have complained. The first payment, they charged me full amount even when they knew was a short month (Christmas) When I complained they gave me credit back. In that month (December) they cancelled several classes and never gave me any credit.

I AM COMPLETELY AT EASE KNOWING MY TWO PRECIOUS BOYS ADAM AND MICKEY ARE AT CORAL REEF GYMNASTICS MON THRU FRI FROM 3PM TO 7PM. THEY ARE QUALITY PEOPLE: OWNERS, STAFF MEMBERS, AND CLIENTS. I THINK THAT THIS INSTITUTION SHOULD BE USED AS FEDERAL MODEL FOR BEST PRACTICES FOR CHILDREN ACTIVITIES FACILITIES. STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE ARE CREATED AND UHELD DAY IN AND DAY OUT. IF I SHOULD WIN THIS $600 MILLION POWER BALL THIS WEEKEND THE FIRST CHARITABLE ACT WOULD BE TO CUT CARLA A CHECK FOR A WHOPPING $10 MILLION. THERE SHOULD BE A CORAL REEF GYMNASTICS IN EVERY CITY(MAJOR OR RURAL) IN THIS COUNTRY. THE PLACE IS A SAFE HAVEN FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS. I JUMP OUT THE CAR AS SOON AS MY WIFE AND I PULL UP JUST SO I COULD ENJOY WATCHING THE CHILDRENS PROGRESS AND SMALL TALK WITH OTHER PARENTS. ITS BETTER THEN THE DAILY ESPN JARGON AT THE WATER COOLER OR EVEN OFFICE GOSSIP. I URGE ANYONE WHO LOVES THEIR CHILDREN AND WANT TO SEE NOTHING BUT GREAT EXPOSURE TO ALL THINGS GOOD ENROLL THEM AT CORAL REEF GYMNASTICS IMMEDIATELY. THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING I COULD THINK OF ABOUT CARLA IS THAT SHE HAS NOT GIVEN STEVE A SON YET. I LOVE THIS WOMEN. SHE IS MY SHERO!!!!! CORAL REEF GYMNASTICS RULES!!!!!
