Have had to speak with a supervisor on 3 separate ocassions. With the exception of one time, it has been a futile attempt to receive assistance. The first time, the supervisor promised he would make every effort to pinpoint the location of a wondering package and contact me the same day with info and never asked me for my contact number nor did I see that he had written down the tracking # so I politely provided both. Needless to say, I never received a follow-up. Second time, same supervisor offered himself to a long line of patrons to assist with drop-offs or pickup and I waited about 10 minutes for him to locate a small package because he had the address wrong! Third time an "attempted delivery" package (which by the way was never attempted in the first place as I was home all day but I guess thats a separate issue) was indeed located with a phone call to the carrier and subsequently delivered the same day as promised. As for the carrier, we have about 3 or 4 different ones and the neighborhood OFTEN receives one anothers mail! Packages are often stuffed in mailboxes with out regard and often unretrievable on the residents side of the mailbox, and (like mentioned earlier) packages requiring signature are often not brought to homes but rather false notices of attempted delivery placed in mailbox. On second thought, this location deserves 0 stars!

Now I understand the negative reviews, all poor customer service points back to the manager, and Angelo is no exception. I put a hold on my mail a month ago, then opened a PO box a few days later and has it forwarded. A month later, I have one envelope. They all had excuses and were quick to point fingers, blaming the other post office, and saying maybe its over there because we dont have anything. Or maybe its in Tampa because all forwarded mail goes through them, and it takes at least 3 weeks...no solutions or trying to figure it out, just placing blame, and saying, well, you cant do that all at once. I asked if Angelo couldnt call over to see if they could look into it, he finally did, and then was completely dismissive. Typical government workers, proving the stereotype. And now Ive had no mail for a month, but theres nothing that can be done.

I will go out of my way to go to this post office. I ALWAYS get helpful and courteous service. I have to send things to APO for my son and I always get confused on the customs forms. Of all those working at Windermere, Ralph is my favorite. He has always been so kind to me. I even wrote to the national post office general and told how great an employee Ralph is and I hope he got the recognition he deserves. He knows i live in 32819 which is further away from my house, and I told him what a JOY it is to come to a post office with people that CARE as OPPOSED to 32819 [Turkey Lake], where people just show up to get paid for doing as little as possible, and as rudely as possible I pray that one day our zip code is re-zoned to Windermere! Thanks, RALPH! You are ALWAYS just a bright spot in my day at the post office Windermere.

I never received my certified mail. I got the postal letter to pick it up, which I signed and placed in my mailbox. The slip was received the next day and I was to expect my mail the very next day. Following day arrives, checked mailbox nothing was there. Went to post office, employee told me they dont have it. Employee took my information and phone number, no one called me back. Waited until the following day and still no mail. Checked tracking number online once again, states it has been delivered, but yet I have received nothing. Why pay for extra services like certified mail, when your customers like myself, dont get it on time, or never get it at all. Zero stars for overall experience.

Very disappointed. Employees must hate their job. We just got a new mail delivery woman who comes to my home 6pm at night to deliver the mail. Sometimes its not delivered and they come early in the morning. Ive had bills and cards mailed to me which come weeks after. Some companies are sending me late fees because they havent received a check that Ive mailed out 2 weeks prior. Im not sure what is going on with this post office but with all the construction going up in Windermere they need more employees. If its like this now I dread what it will be like soon. Very sad that they do not care when you call. If this was their mail they would be unhappy too.

Paid for and scheduled online an 11am package pickup for our small business. Told they would be there between 10-12. So we waited for two hours, and nothing. A small mail car comes by an hour and 1/2 late. Didnt bring the correct size truck to pick up our packages, even though we gave them the weight and the number of packages in our pickup confirmation. Says that theyll send a truck out by the end of the day. So we have to wait 5 more hours. That is, if this even happens. So were out the fee we paid for pickup and our customers wont get their packages on time. I dont see how anyone with a business can trust or rely on this post office.

Amazon reports that USPS delivered my packages yesterday at 8pm (ironically the deadline Amazon committed to have it to me) and I cannot find the boxes anywhere. The note says (in mailbox) but it was not. I spoke to my local carrier (great guy) who said mostlikely they scanned it in as delivered and then tossed it into the not-deliverable bin which could warrant me having to pick it up (20 mins away) OR I should call the post office to see if they can put it on his truck tomorrow for delivery - - - tried calling for over an hour (4 times) and get nothing but a busy signal. They must have the phone off the hook. It is maddening.

Unfortunately, I am always getting mail for many of my neighbors in the subdivision. This is extremely personal mail, e.g., utility notices, bank statements, checks, etc. The delivery person also wraps my important mail inside of junk mail that I often quickly dispose of at the mail trash. Now, I have to waste my time looking through all the junk mail I receive. Just today, August 14, 2015, I had to weed through 20 pieces of junk to get 4 authentic pieces of mail. One service I do like is the pick up at your door service. That saves me a great deal of time, because I ship a great deal.

I have lived in Windermere for 10 years and havent had a problem until I was traveling and mailed a package from overseas. They delivered the package to the WRONG house, let a stranger sign for it, then when confronted blamed me for putting the incorrect address! After proving that it was in fact their fault they decided to take accountability to find it. ONLY ITS BEEN MONTHS and I still dont have my package!!! They keep saying theyll keep in contact but every time I have to call them and the response is always "oops I forgot!" THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
