Im correcting this one star review to a 4 star review because of Debby, Allen, and one other fellow whose name that I I have unfortunately forgot, but they thankfully finally helped me get my package, and were very kind and went above and beyond, actually, about about it, however, I am still keeping the below review as a reminder to people about how one really bad employee can ruin everything, and about how about half of their staff probably still might need some retraining, based on my review, and others.....Why are people who work at this post office comprised of actual garbage? First off, theres no signage once you walk in go where youre going, so when I got in the wrong line, I told the guy that I had a question and he said that I was in the wrong place and I was holding up the line. When I was in line he asked if anyone had questions and when I said directly to him that I had a question, he just straight up ignored me. My problem was a care package of literally priceless artifacts, data, pictures, and memories from my childhood shipping from near Seattle from my mother who I had not seen in months was supposed to come, she forgot to put the full apartment number at first so when the delivery failed, she immediately called and told them, they said no problem, theyd redeliver the 24th. It was originally supposed to come the 22nd, because my parents went out of their way to spend the money for 2 day shipping, which is absolutely insanely priced, btw, but Ive been so distraught living out of state on my own for the first time that they thought that theyd be kind and pay for it. The US postal service is not kind. You would think that maybe theyd have the compassion to keep the box in the damn warehouse for even a few hours if someones disabled Mother forgot 2 numbers, but no, they decided to ship it all the way back to Washington immediately, even after it was scheduled for redelivery. And if course the absolutely heartless and downright rude woman at customer service just keeps saying, it doesnt work that way, and patronizing me over and over again, even though the website said something else. And of course they wouldnt refund over 50 dollars that my parents had to scrimp and pinch for just to send me some photos and some childhood video games. Because thats what the us postal service does, they dont care about anyone. They know that theres a demand for their service, so they know that they can price it as high as they want and treat people as awful as they want because people will still always use their service. I pride myself on moving literally across the country to work full time at a fortune 500 company at 20, and try to make peoples days as pleasant as possible. Youd think that people working for a government establishment could do at least the bare minimum of work, but I guess not. Oh, and I stepped into a fire ant hill when I was outside. Waiting for my Uber so call some pest control too. To add a cherry on the cake was they had it the whole time, and called me just now about it. So all of the help that I tried to give to them through the woman about the location was just disregarded. And she said that they didnt have it. What a liar. I honestly plan to sue if anything like this happens again. And if my mail is damaged, I will.

Let me first start by saying that this terrible rating I am giving this post office is based on the lack of customer service and manners that is the staff at this establishment . Mainly in my experience today it was with the "old lady with white hair " as I see described below a previous comments . Her name is Gloria and as the other comments have said ... Rude ... Beyond rude , helpful only to the point of robotic ... This woman (as well as her staff members this day very clearly saw me struggling in deciding what box and how to ship my package .. Any busy day I would not expect this but almost no one was in there so they all say there and watched me pick out a box that would be more expensive then priority mail (clearly I do not know the prices for the total package sent ) , then watched me write on it ... Only to quickly tell me when I got to her counter that "well it will be cheaper to do the priority mail... Oh and you wrote on this box so you have to buy this too "... Once she gave me the pricing of the priority mail she then told me each individual price I would be paying for the other box ... But seperate ... I asked what the total would be then and she replied "I dont know" and I said ok ? So its this plus this plus this ? Can you look up and tell me what that is ? She replied ..."I mean then I would have to do the math too"... As if I was troubling her so much to get on the computer and tell me my total price for my other option . She was condescending and made the end of my day so much more stressful than it needed to be . I am hoping that Managment reads through their Google reviews and takes these comments into consideration bc they are loosing business by pushing people out the door never to return bc they do not want to be spoken to like idiots by a woman who clearly does not care about her job . All of that being said ... I want to acknowledge a team member that was absolutely fantastic and gave me just the slightest bit of ease on this trip ... Her name is Cheryl ,,, she saw I was in distress and immediately came over to help me ... She said "dont worry dear I can help you "... And was kind ... She was sweet ... She treated me like a human being and not like a ticket number up next ... She told me she would take care of the box that I had wrote on bc I was mislead in doing so only to be charged for it ... When I was directed to be finally cashed out at the counter with Gloria ... She demanded that I go get the box and that I damaged property now so I needed to pay for it .. And was rude to Cheryl about trying to make my experience a little more pleasant . Cheryl was taking the oppurinty to turn my opinion around about this place and was achieving this beautifully ... The Gloria went above and beyond to make sure I left feeling cheated and abused by the system . I hope the manager reading this takes this detail into account bc a staff me never like Cheryl can make all the difference in the let downs like Gloria ruining peoples days over a simple transaction that only required a bit of kindness .. Thank you Cheryl for your warm nature ... Thank you Gloria for reminding me that no matter how terrible you treat people in this world .. Theres still a job that will choose to keep you around .

If I could give this page no stars I would. have not been revieving any mail for about 3 weeks even though we had to sign a sheet with our names on it to make sure we got only our mail and not anybodys elses so what does our mail people do they give us the other peoples mail but not ours I see why the postal service has gone down through the years. If they just took their time and be more efficient we would not have this problem. went to the office to see if we could resolve problems and the manager had nothing but excuses well they should pay for the extra shipping I have to pay now because they were to dumb to put it in a box. he then said that they gave it to my office. I said well how come I didnt get a slip that said I had a package in my mailbox to inform me because each of mail is small and can easily fit in a box. he then tried to say it was the apartments fault. but they dont put slips in the postal does. we have had un consistent mail people and finally have a new person and he said they put the slips in so the manager is misinformed and should do some mail routes to learn the system more. I now understand why their were so many bad comments on here and I was still willing to make things go smoothly but I have common sense of what goes on. Like how I told you at the office step your game up because their our people who would love to do your job and do it correctly.
