I mail at least $1,000 worth of mail through this post office every week. Rarely I am treated with respect that a large customer should deserve. I also have all of my packages ready to ship 99% of the time which makes things extremely easier for them and makes sure that i do not cause a large line to form behind me unlike other customers who do back up the line when they could be printing the postage online... Sometimes i must go through the line and buy stamps, pick up a package on hold, ship and international package etc. and that is where the problem with this post office is. USPS DOES NOT PROMOTE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE "RETAIL ASSOCIATES" CAN BE VERY RUDE VERY OFTEN. It really depens on who helps you out, but at least one of the full time employees whos initials are GW has extremely poor customer service skills. He actually has very poor people skills and would be a very bad choice for a customer service position.. I have had several contacts with GW over the past 2 months and each time I was forced to endure his bad attitude. GW seems to enjoy and start/invite arguments, he talks in a very degrading manner and tone. I have shipped many packages from many post offices all over the usa, but GW IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED WITH USPS OR ANY OTHER COMPANY. In addition to my personal negative contact with George (GW) i have also witnessed GW being very rude toward other customers and speaking in a degrading tone of voice. I understand there job can be very annoying, but they make very good money in this poor economy and they have great hours too. Also with the money i pay this post office alone would pay 1-2 full time employees salary. USPS HAS THE HIGHEST SUICIDE, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, AND ASSAULT CASES THAN ANY OTHER PROFESSION, so this whole thing is not too surprising to me... ALSO MORE IMPORTANTLY >>>> Report any bad customer service experience immediately to the post offices direct manager (in this case Bill is the direct manager of the employees that work at this post office) In addition to contacting the post office directly Its also a very good idea to contact them through the online or 1800askusps number and report the problem that way as well. If everyone who has a problem would report the problems we could get the bad employees outta there and things would be better for us all. Please mark my review as helpful sorry its so long, but I wanted to explain things clearly for everyone to understand.

I too had a horrible experience here with an older, male customer service rep. He did everything in his power to be uncooperative. When he realized I was in a hurry because someone was waiting for me outside, he took pleasure in delaying me when I tried to pay and leave. Even though he had rung up my total, he said that if I left before he finished his paperwork, he would not put the parcels in the bin for postage. It took me 45 minutes to post 3 international packages, and his remarks were so incredibly rude, it was unbelievable. The other customer service reps just continued serving their clients like they could not hear what was going on. There were several other customers on the (by now) lengthy line who were appalled at his behavior and who were shaking their heads in disgust. Give a fool some power...

I typically dislike going to the post office because it is slow and the staff are not in good spirits. This post office has some good staff and some not-so-good staff. There is an older gentlemen whose people skills arent great (disgruntled), but he gets his job done quickly and effectively. There is also a female worker there who is pretty open about how much she hates her job. She sighs, lets her head roll back, talks openly about when quitting time is and what not. I am always extra nice to her and it seems to soften her mood if not by 5-10%. I give people the benefit of the doubt because I have no idea whats going on in their lives. The main plus about this post office is the hours. Mon-Friday open until 6pm and Saturdays open until 3pm. Thats really nice.

The workers are very rude, I absolutely dread going in there but its near my job and I have no choice because of my schedule. I just try to get in and get out without having to ask for much. Why are they so nasty, Im very nice, and shy by nature but they immediately have an attitude. Apparently everyone else gets the same treatment from the looks of the comments except for what seems to be a couple of employees under fake accounts lol. Dont use the copier, its been malfunctioning for over a year and theyve even raised the price. Just dont go there at all if you can avoid it, its like walking on eggshells not to upset them.

Agreed - George is a total buffoon, rude to customers, and just a complete customer service boondoggle when we were sending a parcel to a student overseas. We used the USPS-provided overseas prelabeled, pre-printed box, and he proceeded to say that it was the wrong box going to the wrong place and refused to accept it. I asked for the manager, and George just grunted anddisappeared "on his break". The manager reviewed the box, agreed that we had everything perfectly prepared and accurate, apologized for George, and off the box went. This fellow needs to retire, and retire soon.

Like everyone says. Most staff there are very rude, unprofessional, no service mind. I usually dont take a lot of time at the counter but they still act like I pester them so much. They would be mean to you and would shout at you if you do something wrong. With the exception of the lady named Crystal and the guy with brown curly hair. They are nice. The elder guys are extremely rude. GW and Dan treated me like Im their enemy, not a customer. I have been to thousands of places in my life and never experienced anything like this.

Well for one the staff is rude, not helpful, & if you ask a question they dont know the answer or hoe to explain anything. There is hardly ever anyone at the General Mail Delivery door, they close up the door & turn the buzzer off before its time to. plus they changed the General Mail Pick-Up time from open to 10:15 without notifying the people who do General Mail. i think the post either needs to get new employees or retrain the one they already have, so yeah thats the review on the US POST OFFICE!!

I have had to use this post office recently. My son is in the marines and went from pais island to japan. I had no ideal what I was doing. I have been helped by all the staff at different times in the last two years. Bless them all for being so patient and helpful to me. They guide me on how to best send packages and how to fill out the custom forms. There have been times when I have been so lost and everyone that has waited on me have been kind and helpful.

The worst workers Ive ever endured at a post office. I dread going here but unfortunately it is the closest around. Some days they dont even scan in my packages the day I drop them off unless I make them do it while Im there. So dropping things off is not a good idea since they might not get to them right away. And yes, I realize there are pickup times. Just because they picked them up, doesnt mean they scan them on time.
