We have a ceiling fan that needs to be installed, but it requires a little extra work, so we called these guys to come give us an estimate. Nice guy comes and gives me a quote on a Monday. He says that he cant do the job until the following week. He says that hell call me the following Sunday to set up an exact time. No call on Sunday. I call him first thing Monday morning. No answer. I leave a message. No return call. I call again on Tuesday. He answers. Asks me what my schedule is. I tell him that Ill be around through Thursday, and then were going out of town for the weekend. He then tells me to call him when I get back in town and well schedule a time for the following week. I tell him thanks, but no thanks. It’s almost like he didn’t want to do the job. So in the end, I felt jerked around and they wasted my time. Getting the run around for over two weeks in regards to installing a ceiling fan is ridiculous. And it was a $310.00 job or more. Not like it was too small. I don’t know what their problem is, but their laissez faire attitude is not for me.

We hired a contractor to build cabinets, and it was the worst experience ever. He did a decent job building the actual cabinets, but the part that bothered me the most is he said it would take 2 days - he just didnt clarify that 2 days meant it was stretched over 3 weeks. He barely worked 3 or 4 hours the first two days and when he wasnt in the house working, he was running back to Home Depot because he kept forgetting things. I also had to remind him numerous times what he was supposed to do (add crown molding at the top, put the molding back at the bottom when he finished - it went on and on). The painter did a great job on the cabinets themselves, but didnt do a hot job on the doors - I have to repaint those because I can still see through the paint to the actual wood - and then he did a bad job touching up next to the wall - totally uneven line - I also have to touch that part up to make the paint line straight. Would never hire this company again - all because of this one horrible experience - would never ever recommend the contractor either.

Andy on call - Alpharetta GA contractor did our master bathroom in last December (2013). He said not to lay a sub floor underneath the tiles,but I disagreed to that.He didnt listen to us and did it in his own way. Just after few days tile grout started getting cracked and chipped.The commode is wobbly. Little grout pieces are coming out and the tiles got loosened.Now June 2014 and he came to fix the grout 6 times between that period and the problem doesnt fixed properly at all. We are really disappointed of the work he has done.He (Roger) is not punctual keep on postponing the appointments and his lack of skills make the job incomplete.We are in utter trouble.I called the Andy on call location manager also.He said he is going to look in to the issue and still no response from him also. I, thoroughly dont recommend this place for your construction work or remodeling.

I wish there was a 0 star option. This is the worst experience Ive ever had with a contractor. We bought a house where Handy Andy had done work to find out when we moved in that the newly installed GFCI outlets didnt work. After calling multiple times and the sellers agent attempting to contact him, we heard nothing and he still hasnt come to look at the work. We had an actual electrician come look, and he identified Handy Andys work as atrocious. Incorrect wiring and poor workmanship was the cause of none of our bathroom outlets working for over a month because of his neglect to come and fix what he was supposed to install. I wouldnt recommend this contractor to anyone.

Andy On Call has done a number of home repair projects on my home for over a decade. Ive worked with a variety of technicians over the years and they have all done quality repairs, renovations, and upgrades that have over time brought my townhouse a little closer my dream home. The appointment setters have always been very good and do a nice job of keeping me in the loop of any changes and following up when the job is completed. The quotes are usually fair/reasonable and there is no charge for them to come out and look at your project. If you are looking to have work done on your home and would like more than one bid/quote, I recommend giving Andy On Call a try.

I have used Andy OnCall twice for various projects including electrical work, dry wall patching, repairing a porch, rebuilding part of a fence, plumbing, cauking a shower, and replacing a porch light. Calling separate craftsman for each job would have cost me a fortune! Andy OnCall was able to do all the jobs for one great value low price! Very quality workmanship! Plus transparent pricing. High integrity and very dependable! Plus lots of free advice! Kevin did both my jobs and did great. Plus he was very honest and gave me valuable advice! AAA+. Highly Recommended!

I have not had any actual work done yet but have a quote which I have accepted. We are waiting for the materials to arrive and then the labor will begin. However, the quote experience with Calvin was great and he helped me order the raw materials (walkin tub etc) that I will need for my bathroom remodeling. I really liked his expertise, his demeanor and his willingness to assist me in every way possible. Since I am older and have a disability, this was exceptionally appreciated.

Andy OnCall has been great for me. They have a team of handy men that are available based on who is working the area that day. They have a coordinator who handles all of the appointments and billing which is great vs having to rely on the technician to make their own appointments which can be really frustrating and not timely. As far as the work is concerned, Ive had 3 repairs done by them and never had any issues at all.

Andy OnCall was excellent as always. Carol in the office always keeps us informed if there are any changes in our appointment and Chris, their plumbing expert is awesome. He is always on time and goes about his work quickly. He knows his job well and offers suggestions to us as to the best way to correct the problem. I would absolutely hire them again and recommend them to anyone who is need of work around the house.

They came out and quoted my job and then we had an appointment to do the job a week and a half later. After waiting for an hour for them to show up on the appointment day I called only to be informed that they decided they couldnt do my job. No phone call to me to cancel and the manager never even called me back after I requested to speak to him. Very unprofessional!
