I enjoyed my experience at Knotty By Nature. To have some local and not have to drive to gwinnett for hair pressing is a win. Adding affordable prices and a great job is the jackpot! I received a wash, deep conditioning, silk press and trim. The results are a shiny, bouncy head of soft straight locs. I have 3d/4b hair that is shoulder-length, high porosity, and a mix of coarse and medium strands. I enjoyed the products used on my hair (OGX coconut Shampoo, shea moisture black soap conditioner, and a straightening serum). The salon is just opening, so it doesnt have all of the glitz and glamour of some of the Atl natural salons, but its definitely on its way and a great addition to the Athens natural hair community. UGA ladies, this is definitely a good spot for you!!

I was highly satisfied with my hair when I went there. Ive been there a few times actually. Ive even brought my daughters once. They offer a variety of hairstyles for women and men with natural hair. If you want your hair braided with our without hair added, someone can do that. If you want your hair straightened, someone can do that. If you want to add hair to your hair (weaves), they can do that. To simply put it, the women in the salon can do whatever you want done! Check them out! Theyre awesome!

I have locs. Monica did ok with the pipe cleaner style, but she didnt do well with interlocking my new growth, and I can see a significant difference in my locs because of it.
