Would not recommend!! Getting worse. Updated: 04/09/17: I have had a few inquiries about my experience since I posted this review so I will add additional info as requested. Yes the owners father is a lawyer. Once I was contacted by their father - I sought out and got my own lawyer as well. Thunderstorms from last week: During the last weeks thunder storms I notices my solarium (build by Boyce) was leaking and my backyard had a pond. I am not sure what they did but apparently it was inadequate. My recommendations: Get the work inspected by a professional on a regular basis (put it in the contract) Be aware of the fact their father is a lawyer Original review: This is about our experience with Boyce Design. We spend over $300000 back in 2013. We are now in 2017 building a new home worth ~$4M and only now are we realizing that Boyces work is even worse than we thought. While 300K is a lot of money - the entire experience has taught me a lot. However while I am very vigilant with the new home construction - I am realizing that the new builder is already on top of all the issues I experienced with Boyce. Contact me if you want to read the review from 2013 Garage slab: Boyces work - has issues after issues New home - No issues Bounce on floor: Boyces work - major issues on 1st floor. When you walk the entire room shakes. Out of warranty now so we cannot get it fixed. We realized it only after we had lived in the house for a while with furniture in it. If you walk on the 1st floor - the bounce is so bad that it shakes and makes to much noise that people on the 2nd floor can hear it easy. Impossible to walk on this part of the floor without waking up the people on the bedroom above it. The original house has no such issues. If was even worse on the 2nd floor but my home inspector caught that and had them fix it. (it was not an easy fix) New home - No issues from day one on both 1st floor and 2nd floor - 15K sq ft home. Driveway: Boyces work - the drive way is sinking. Additionally I was told the color of the driveway will match the old driveway. Not even close after after 2 yrs. The original drive way from the original builder is still intact without any sink-age. New home - the drive way has not been poured but has been compacted numerous times already. Add to that the headache of dealing with them after being contacted by their Lawyer - who happened to be the owners father. Contact me if you need additional information.

Their high quality work and professionalism is something all companies should adopt, but this is what makes them stand out from any other design and build firm.
