Lives up to its reputation as one of Atlanta top tier hotels. We stayed here over a weekend and were generally impressed with the quality, design and personal service of the hotel and its staff. The hotel is set back just a half block from one of the main streets in Buckhead. You drive into the courtyard through what looks like a mini version of the Arc de Triomphe and park among an array of high end cars. There were Teslas, a Roles Royce, a Maserati, Lamborghini, a Bently when we arrived. The valet and bellhop were helpful and friendly. Check in was quick and the girl at registration could outgoing and professional. We got upgraded to a deluxe room on the 14th floor. The guest elevator only goes up to 15, so we assumed that the higher floors were for residents. The room itself was definitely bigger than a standard room, but not huge, with classic design elements that still felt fairly modern. The view was good, but most blocked by the high rise apartment building next door. The outside of the window could stand to be cleaned. There was a large TV in the room and a smaller one in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Overall: spacious, well designed and high quality, with some minor sings of age. We ordered room service for breakfast in the morning. The service was quick and they have a good selection. Do pay attention to the extra service/delivery charges included. The food was very good (especially the bacon), but the coffee was not great. My girlfriend got a massage at the spa in the afternoon. It would have been nice to be able to book a time online. I kept missing the phone calls to confirm the appointment. The spa and pool area are very calm and even more zen than the rest of the hotel. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Overall, one of the best hotel experience weve had.

For my B-day my husband always gets the best rated hotel either for us to stay or for me to have a spa day. This year I experienced the Mandarin Oriental Spa. The hotel is more like a boutique hotel, very cozy, and welcoming. I had a facial, manicure(very good), luch by the pool, and then the "full" body massage. I felt very uncomfortable having lunch before the body massage, and told the spa concierge about it, but no (attempt)changes were done. To make the story short, I got to my massage room, and told the masseur i loved reflexology. Despite that hint, he mostly focused on my back and shoulders. At one point he did touch my feet, and I said "I need to undo my hair to enjoy this" ... and he replied "ohhh.. Im so sorry"!. He was actually just removing the ankle pillow. The massage was over and he did not even touch my feet!! What a turn off!! Plus, I thought I was getting an 80minutes full massage for 55 minutes price as it was posted at the cocierge desk! I had to assume they did not advise my husband about the offer. My husband expected me to be happy, excited, and relaxed, but I had nothing good to say. I felt so bad for him. I was even more upset when I came across his credit card statement... $400 for something that I did not even enjoy. Never again.

Very small lobby area with a small fireplace and limited seating, so plan on staying in your room, restaurant or spa. Wife and I ate dinner in the lounge area. The service was slow and the waiters professionalism and attitude were bad. The food was good but not great. Had breakfast in the morning and once again another waiter was not very attentive but the food was very good. Workout room is a nice size with some some okay weigh machines, dumbells and some older cardio equipment. The room decor was nice but the beds are a somewhat firm. Bedroom bathroom is very nice. Room heating and air unit was loud during its on and off cycles. I complained to the manager about our dinner experience and she remove the drink charges. My over all experience at this hotel was not that pleasurable for the money spent. The room price was around 359.00 (Saturday night stay)which included a 20.00 breakfast voucher and valet parking. Next time Ill go to the Ritz Carlton down the street for similar price but more to offer and typically better service.

We stayed on 9/5/2010. Smooth checkin with valet parking, attendant brought our luggage to the room and explained all of the room features. The bathroom is amazing, best Ive ever seen hands down. Bed is comfy and clean, nice room. When my computer geek boyfriend tried to get on the internet to select a restaurant for dinner, Boom, our weekend was ruined. Use of the internet is $12.99 per day. After we paid over $250 for the room they then tried to nickel us with that. To make it worse, no phone book was in the room either. You are then at the mercy of the concierge. Shes nice, but her taste in restaurants is awful. Hotel bar very small, restaurant decent, and a nice little garden. The pool is saline, but a lap pool only. Dont think your going to have fun in it. Clean, nice place but boring and a real feel of isolation unless you pay for the internet. My computer geek boyfriend would sooner check out and go somewhere else.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. They valet parked our vehicle, ushered us inside, checked us in, and escorted us to our amazing room. Upon getting settled in, the doorbell rang and in came a treat, a brownie of some sort for our anniversary. We got dressed and headed down for the hotel car (a beautiful Lexus) to take us to The Capital Grille for dinner. After dinner the car returned to pick us up and take us to our next destination. Each time they opened the door for us, offered assistance, and never seemed bothered. The staff were all highly trained, courteous, and experts on pampering. They wanted to make sure we had an amazing time that we would not soon forget. We have decided that we will make this a tradition on our anniversary.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around... The hotel staff was so friendly, courteous and always eager to help. They made me feel like a VIP. My room was very nice and clean -- the bed was comfortable. I truly enjoyed the spa services. The hotel is conveniently located to many shops and excellent restaurants -- all within walking distance. You can arrange with the Concierge to have the hotel driver drop you off or pick you up from nearby locations (within a 2-mile radius of the hotel), free of charge. The house car is a Tesla, and its on a first come, first serve basis.

When you drive up to the Mansion you instantly get the feeling of royalty. Each staff member treated me as if I were Queen Elizabeth herself. We walked to the front desk where we were greeted so friendly and did not touch any of our luggage from the time we stepped out of the vehicle until we reached the bedroom. The bathrooms itself were to DIE FOR….. I did not want to leave!!! The bathrooms were something that popped out of the magazine itself. I have never experienced something of such luxury and class in sometime now. One stay and you will be HOOKED. Might I add, I was depressed when I checked out. Thanks for a WONDERFUL AND MAGICAL WEEKEND.
