This is my 2nd time stopping by Nail Stop at Akers Mill. The 1st time the two women were very rude. I had a pedicure done and it was very brief. A pedicure is a pamper where they should take their time and not rush. Thats what you spend your money for. The lady next to me came before me and she was still there getting hers after the lady rushed through mine. She even thought it was weird. I mentioned it to the technician that, it was not a good pedicure at all, she literally started talking out loud in her language with the other tech and they both started looking at me. I went ahead and paid but I also told the manager, well of course he didnt give them any better training, a year later the same two is still there and one of the women did the same exact thing but not to me. Today, I needed a pedicure bad. The location that I normally go to was full. I held my breath and went on to Nail Stop! One of the guys assisted me. He never asked what type of pedicure I wanted or anything. So the lady that sat next to me had just came along, the tech asked her, what type of pedicure she wanted. I realized he never asked me. So as he was wrapping me up before painting, I realized he didnt do a good job with my cuticles around my toes so I put my hand there to show him. He immediately cleaned that up on both feet which he didnt realize I was watching him and was about to not even do them. He rubbed lotion on both legs, didnt really massage the lotion on to my legs nor feet. He didnt even use a warm towel, he realized he put too much lotion, he got a regular dry towel and washed the lotion off my legs. By this time I was so frustrated. Imagine how you look forward to that relaxation, even willing to tip them well. I let him finished and told the manager, he looked at me as if I was crazy and said, sorry! Terrible service is an issue I take very serious bc of all the nail shops I chose that one and I didnt have to. I want to encourage everyone to stay away from this one! I dont trust them and they are rude. If you are looking for a good pedicure, you DO NOT want to go to this one.

AWESOME! I came here pre wedding with bridesmaids to get mani pedis before the big day. I have nothing but wonderful things to say! Had a great spa feeling. Beautiful sinks, great selection of colors, huge flat screen tv. It was extremely clean- actually the cleanest nail salon Ive ever been in. They sterilize tools after ever client (like really sterilize them, not just put them in that mystery blue water), the massage chairs were spotless and dont have jets so theres no place for bacteria to thrive. The water still moves around and massages somehow, so youre not giving up anything by having a "jetless chair" except nasty bacteria! They even wipe your toes with alcohol before painting them, which means other peoples toe germs arent living in the nail polish bottles... They were extremely friendly, very efficient, and the price was awesome! (as of 6/17/11, mani and pedi was only $32 for both!) highly recommend. wish i lived in the area because i would go back all the time!

This place was awful. I called ahead to get an appointment, telling them it was my lunch break. When I got there I waited about 10 minutes, then the woman took almost 2 hours to do a simple fill. Not to mention it was a terrible job. The tops of my nails had bumps all over them and they werent smooth. One broke within a day and the rest chipped a lot. I would never go back. Eminence Nails Spa in Buckhead did a much better job, faster, and for the same price if not a little less.

Friendly service, short ten minute wait. Salon seemed clean enough. Not a very thorough pedicure as the massage and sugar scrub were very short and not that relaxing, and the quality of the polish job was not good at all. I wish I could attach a picture of my toes to this review so that you could see for yourself... I will be going home and repainting my toes, not to mention taking the nail polish off the skin all around my toes... Sad.

Terrible service. I wanted nail art done in my nails and she brought out a different color to do the art. Then she wouldnt redo my nails a different color so that I dont have to do the nail art which means I had to SETTLE for WHAT I WAS PAYING FOR. Also they didnt shape my nails and the massage was terrible. Theyre over priced when their work isnt even worth a cent.

Third time that i have visited & they have no one there to actually do nails! Only time in my day that I can get a manicure is on my hour long lunch break- but each time Ive come they cant do anything! Dont waste your gas time or money even trying to visit this terrible place. They obviously dont care about their potential customers so no need to visit this place!

I like the salon because it has a variety of gel nail products, more than just gelish.. Large selection of colors also.. I have not found any salons in the atlanta area that does a manicure and pedicure according to my standards where enough skin is it take it off during the process. so I clip my own cuticles and pay 4 the salon polish my nails.

I went for a mani - pedi. I asked them if they had a specific kind of gel for my nails and they said yes. When it came time to start my manicure they didnt have it. Bait and switch. I then received a basic manicure in which the technician butchered me. I was bleeding on all fingers. I highly suggest you stay away.

Very expensive for what I got done and I asked the price when I got there, but when I was checking out, they changed the price. Nice place and the techs were nice too but they were slow and I think upcharged to make up for light traffic that day. I wont go back.

Went here the other day they are fairly new but i was so impressed overall they had great customer service and a assortment of services offered. I didnt feel like I was being herded in and out. I cant wait to go back and try a henna tattoo

Good polish choices. Good nail techs. Had to fix an mistake, good about not charging. Repair of mistake, was rushed tho.
