The purpose of any job is to not only do the work but do it efficiently and cost effectively. Having paid for people to hang holiday lights for more than 10 years- they are the most expensive, slowest and least efficient that I have had. They charged nearly $200/hr based on their statements that they could do the job efficiently. The job was discussed in detail and I was told that they could provide the services within a reasonable time. They didnt Only when the job was started did it become apparent that the workers appear to have never done the job before. The workmen were not comfortable on roofs which is not a good trait for people who hang holiday lights from a house and added to the job time. Despite having discussed the time expectations prior to starting, they first offered a bill that was for twice the time as discussed- when told that was unacceptable, they agreed to cut the cost somewhat but still wanted to paid more than 50% time than anyone else. No explanation for the overrun was offered and when told the time was unreasonable, they merely replied that it was reasonable. They have still offered no explanation why their workers took twice as long to perform the job. Moreover, the workers mis-explained a base fee as relating to the first hour work until the work was done then it was added on-top of all of the charges. What was discussed as roughly $500 job became more than $1100 bill. Since their primary function was to hang holiday lights, I have no idea how they are as electricians, however, despite holding themselves out for this job, they couldnt do it cost effectively and should not be used.

I had a great experience with this company. I received excellent communication regarding the arrival of the electrician to my residence. Our electrician, John, explained how the estimate was determined and was willing to answer any of my questions. I felt very comfortable with him in my home and he showed me everything that he was doing and was happy to explain. I received an estimate for the same job from Mr. Electric that was $150 higher than H&S and I have no doubt that I chose the right company. I highly recommend H&S Electric.

Huff & sons came out to install 2 ceiling fans for me. One of the ceiling fans did not work properly. Mr. Huff came out again to install a new fan with no compliants. The customer service and work was nothing less than EXCEPTIONAL. I was very pleased with this company and would definitely recommend their services.
