Expect regular rate increases as early as 3-6 months thus making this choice for storage much less than competitive. Youll be notified via a post card and not given any explanation as to the reason for the rate increase when you call to ask. Unfortunately it really appears to be a bait and switch. I can say, the ground are kept very clean overall. The gate has always worked properly. Moving carts can be scarce at times and more often then not, they are likely to have flat tires. Parking lot was recently resurfaced and access was unavailable throughout entire weekend which didnt personally effect me, however I would be quite unhappy if I were attempting to move during such times since no advance notification was given to renters. The application and paperwork was efficient overall and there have been no issues with the auto pay. Overall Id caution against this particular place mostly due to the price bait and switch. Ive rented several storage units within the past 15 years and never had an initial rate increase prior to one year. This would not be a good choice if you are planning on utilizing storage for any extended period of time.

I got a call from Dwayne Croom regarding my 2 storage units. He was able to address my concerns in a very professional and most importantly a respectful manner. He has a great customer service skills and I was pleased with his attenation to details regarding my questions. I hope every one at Extra Space storage follows this good working example of Dwayne Croom. I would recommend him any day to anyone with storage concerns and advice. Because of Dwayne, I have been convinced to stay longer than expected with Extra Storage company. Thank you so very much once again Dwayne for all your help, support and advice. Watch out for Bait and Switch .. rented 10x10 got a 9x910". When I asked them about it they said sorry all dim are approximate.. so they think 12" off is apprroximate enough .. this makes the unit 10% less then when I agree too. Also the local person behind the desk give me attitude asked me why i did not measure it when I rented it. so I guess you cant trust this company to give you what you agreed too the employee even think you have do double check them. DO you really want give your money to company that thinks this is acceptable

A lady named Chris helped me at the last minute setting up a reservation for a storage she looked for a discount and coupon rated storage in my area knew I was driving to the storage FYI they where getting ready to close in like 10min she actually called the store where she spoke with a gentleman name Dwayne that was calm and very very help full being that the closed in 5min he explained everything to me play by play showed me the storage and I was on my way thank lady extra space storage

I cannot say enough good things about Duane. I apologize if I did not spell his name correctly. He was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He made renting one of your storage units very easy for us. He explained everything thoroughly and did an excellent job. My husband and I are both self-employed and have rented many storage units in the past. This was, by far, the best experience with Duane.

When I was in between selling my house and buying another one, I had to put our stuff in storagr. The staff here hooked us up with a great rate and made sure we were satisfied. Only complaint is that the initially gave me the wrong pin to enter the facility. That was quickly fixed however.
