I wanted a cut and highlights right before a special event, and Christy completely screwed up the appointment time/service so I had to wait until she had another opening, which was two days before the event. I have very thick hair, and any trained stylist would know to put a detangle product on it! As she began to use a brush it hurt the way she was snagging on my hair! I mentioned that it is much easier to get the tangles out with a tangle product, but instead she handed me the brush and told me to do it myself! What??? Completely unprofessional and rude! Then I noticed the color cause breakage around my bangs, which Aveda color has never done before. I question whether she actually uses Aveda color, because the smell was not the same, and the end result looked like it was from a box. Not once did she use any product on my hair, and the whole reason I go to Aveda salons is because the products are gentle on my hair. I paid over $100 for a terrible service, and will never go back!

I moved to the Dallas area last October and was in search of a new hair salon. My neighbor recommended Christy at Salon Pure and after my first cut, I knew I had found the right place! Her hair cuts are fabulous and the Aveda color is beautiful. I previously went to a salon featuring another hair color product and required both base color and highlights, but the Aveda color provided such a rich color that I didnt need highlights! Great salon!

Let me tell you about the awesomeness that is Jennifer. Not only is she so sweet and keeps the conversation going, but she is an amazing stylist that pays close attention to detail! Ive gotten so many compliments on my new haircut and dye! Their prices are incredible for using aveda products, lets just say Ive paid a lot more for half of the quality. I will definitely refer her to all my friends!!!

Salon Pure is a best kept secret! Christy is an amazing stylist. She consistently cuts, colors, and blows out amazing doos! Fast, ( I mean it, like really fast), friendly, low key, on time, non drama service at fabulous prices. A terrific neighborhood salon that would be worth any drive!
