M Carys plumbers were professional and I felt comfortable that they were not trying to "schmooze" me. There was, however, an incident that makes me feel unsettled about the service: I called about two taps, both of which were easy washer fixes (albeit at $400 for labor and washers), but in the repair process a completely different part of my plumbing suddenly "became" broken. I had never had any problems with this aspect of my plumbing before and it had nothing to do with my service call, but once it broke I was forced to have another, more complicated repair on the spot (not doing so would have left me without water). The technicians claimed that it was old, about-to-go-anyway, etc. Maybe this is true. It sounded like a certain amount of violence was used on the tap before it broke, but I dont honestly know, so I cant say. But theres something about new things breaking while the experts are there that just doesnt make you feel good. All in all, I will probably not call this company again, even though I feel confident in the end they did fix everything well. They seem competent and courteous. But I cant afford to fork out $700 for two leaky taps (which was my ONLY problem!).

I would never do business with M. Cary & Daughters Plumbing again. First we sent an email to a couple of different companies to see who would give us the best price. They sent Buddy out (who was very friendly) He does great work, but before anyone could give us a price quote or range they did the work and handed me a bill for 225 Dollars for 15 minutes of work. When i ask why there was no quote given before the work, i just got a vague answer and needed to speak with Michelle back at the office. I was told that the standard price is 225 and its posted on their website(its not). I tried to explain that i wanted a quote so i would know if i could afford another bill 3 weeks before Christmas. But all i got was attitude and it just wasnt worth getting upset over, especially during the Holiday Season. So their work is great but customer service is horrible and I would never recommend them unless no one else can fix your problem.

I live in a condo that still has a lot of the original fixture from 1968 or fixtures that were not installed well. I am disabled so I have specific requirements. When I described what I wanted, i was given reassurances that the new toilet would be appropriate and I was given a price. The plumber arrived on time, did the work well and cleaned up afterwards. I now have a toilet with the correct height, low flow and the right color to match the tub and sink. It was more expensive than other plumbers, but I have no worries that everything was done correctly. I have more work to be done and I will not hesitate to call them.

I called M. Cary & Daughters to see if they could fix a kitchen disposal problem day-of. The friendly lady on the phone initially said they were booked solid and wouldnt be able to come out, but she didnt stop there. She asked me to describe my problem in full, and walked me through how to fix it myself over the phone. I was FLOORED! Rather than pay a fee for someone to come out to my house to simply press a button, this company helped me do it myself, free of charge. Ill definitely be calling M. Cary & Daughters the next time I have a plumbing issue.

Cary & Daughters Plumbing for over a decade in 3 different houses including an antique 1920s house, a 1950s ranch and a 2008 townhouse in Brookhaven, and they have demonstrated vast knowledge and dependable results every time. They are responsive and prompt and billing is reasonable. I highly highly recommend M. Cary & Daughters!

These are the nicest professionals ever! Seems like everyone in Decatur knows about M. Cary & Daughters. They did a great job installing a new toilet - even sent me a handwritten thank you card! Who does THAT anymore! Id like to refer them but every time I mention M. Cary to my Decatur friends they already know about them!
